This feels like the longest month in history….

backinthestoneage · 28/03/2023 19:59

Yes - it will be May draw @JoelDommettsTux

I agree. How can there still be another 6 days until we he results?!

Bittercup · 29/03/2023 10:46

April's estimated prizes are now on the website. No significant changes though. Sorry, not sure how to post a link!

Babytwodue · 29/03/2023 11:58

I’m taking the plunge and upping my holdings to 10k from 2k eeeeek. Roll on the May draw 🙏🏻 and good luck everyone in April

NatMoz · 29/03/2023 13:00

Have won zilch the last 2 draws on £23k. Any wins i put into the government childcare account due to the tax break so my winnings feel like more🤣.

Just topped up to £40k for May's draw so hopefully I'll win something, anything in the next 2 months🤣🤣

Ilovetocrochet · 29/03/2023 13:50

Well, I’ve done it! Topped up my holding to the max! So, roll on the May results when I’m hoping to win something.

It’s bitter sweet really as I’m using some money I inherited from my Mum who died last May. It’s taken ages to get Probate due to tax complications with a rental property but I have now received an initial amount. I’m sad that Mum died but I know she enjoyed a good life and would want me to do the same.

I plan to leave the money in PBS for a year to compare any winnings with what I would have got if I invested the money and then decide if I’m keeping the bonds or cashing them in.

Might need to have a tidy up later ready for agent million’s visit 🤞. Is it today or tomorrow we think they’ll visit?

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/03/2023 13:10

Meant to be last working day of the month so Friday

Then due to weekend we won't find out till Monday for the other big winners and then tue for the app

Think that's right

Knock knock day tomorrow!

The houses I’d choose from are saved on Rightmove.

Bring it on!

WeAreBorg · 30/03/2023 19:57

Best of luck for tomorrow PB chums!

BillStickersIsInnocent · 31/03/2023 06:03

Wouldn’t that be a fab job, being an agent million.

wineandsunshine · 31/03/2023 06:57

I got excited when NS&I emailed - to set up a direct debit 🤣

HagWithAtt · 31/03/2023 07:19

Does anyone know if additional bonds that you buy today will be eligible in the May draw?

I’m on holiday, wondering if million man would be happy to make the announcement over Ring…

DoorstoManual · 31/03/2023 10:19

Just tried to buy more online and the server is down, tried ringing them and was cut off after 15 minutes, looks like my inheritance will be in my current account for a lot longer.🙄

Will keep trying and will update if it comes back up.

Ames85 · 31/03/2023 10:39

That’s frustrating. I really hope it works later today. I also wanted to add some to top back up a bit following a drop from repaying the mortgage ☹️

newusern1 · 31/03/2023 12:16

I'm so excited for my first draw on Monday, although most of what I have put in so far isn't eligible until May.

newusern1 · 31/03/2023 12:20

On the list of £1000000 prize winners what is the difference between holding and bond value? Is the holding the total amount they have invested and the bond value the value they invested at the same time as the bond which won?

Each month I transfer from my bank to the acct details. Saving before I register the money as being in my account!
If you have the sort code and acct number for your PB you can transfer from.your bank like this.

Holding is the amount that was bought in one chunk, so if I bought £25 it would be £1 bond that would win but the holding would be £25.

The total is how much I own altogether.

I buy via bank transfer

Can you do that

I think bank transfers have to be a few days before the end of the month don't they? I always buy using my card as it's instant but still try to do it a few days before the end of the month just in case!

I did a bank transfer yesterday morning and got the email confirming they'd received it within the hour. I don't like to leave it until the last day, though, just in case of delays.
