@daisychain01 that looping thing is irritating. Try logging I. From a different browser (I find Google chrome DOESNT work, so use safari / edge instead.

OneFrenchEgg · 14/01/2023 08:25

I do find their systems a bit frustrating. Two apps one for winning and one for tracking etc.

BarrelOfOtters · 14/01/2023 08:39

What’s the tracking app?

They’ve added 2 factor authentication on to the website so you can get looped in if you haven’t set it up yet. I like the website.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/01/2023 08:42

@daisychain01 great you solved it and least prizes got paid

not sure why have a holders number and a pb number

it’s confusing

once I put wrong number in when buying more pb and took ages to get pb

I assume she means this

One on left ns&i in brown is the one I click on on first working day of month and see if won easily and all logged in with Face ID

One top right in white is where I have to log in with number so have it on phone under a p name 😂 to then check how many I have etx

That is lovely of you @goldennotyetoldie thanks for mentioning browser compatibility, I will try using Edge.

It really maddens me, all these glitches are easily sorted by compatibility testing, or if that's beyond their wit, then a prominent message "please only use Edge, Safari etc etc for this website" would be really helpful. Customer experience whatzaaaaat?

And it begs the question why isn't Chrome compatible, it's one of the most commonly used browsers.

Another one to add to my list of gripes!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/01/2023 09:02

Just checked and mine goes back to 2018

When I won 21 prizes of £25 resulting in £525!!!

10 in 2019 so £250

11 in 2020 so £275

7 in 2021 so £175

8 in 2022 so £200

1 so far in 2023 so £25

Obv in 2018 I had quite a few but with extension , paying off ivf loan , car and prob covid lockdowns and savings my pb are at a all time low for me

But I will build them up - prizes will go back in this year. Used to have them towards a Chinese takeaway

Always £25. Hopefully this year a £50 £100 or even £10k would be nice

@Blondeshavemorefun funnily enough when I installed the PB app on my phone, I did notice the blue and cream logo app and was confused by that, as I picked the familiar cream/red one.

my understanding is that NS&I number is the investor number which encompasses any of the government investment products as there are many different savings schemes offered by the government for different purposes (children, gilts, over 60s etc) of which PB is a product. But it makes it very confusing for the average person knowing when to use each unique identifier.

I've only just about got it now, but it has taken a lot of pain to get there!

daisychain01 · 14/01/2023 09:11

I've normally won the minor prizes like 25, 50, 100, 200. During the Pandemic our one little pick-me-up was winning £5,000.

It was very exciting and gave us an impression of what a really biiiiig win might feel like as I had to ring them up and give some identification before they released the money, just to be sure it was me. That £5,000 was part of the money I gifted to DH to build up his holdings as he only had £100 from when he was a baby Smile

wow can you imagine winning the £1M, that would be such an experience!

daisychain01 · 14/01/2023 09:15

@Blondeshavemorefun your PBs have really outpaced inflation when it was so low in previous years. 👍 Here's hoping you get some nice chunky winnings from now on as they've increased the stakes.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/01/2023 09:34

@daisychain01 oh wow £5k

once I won £100 maybe 10yrs ago. Otherwise always been£25 and in 2018 won every month £25 and some months 2/3 prizes of £25

a million be nice obviously but something like £50k would be amazing

never know ……

BarrelOfOtters · 14/01/2023 10:10

Yes sorry - one for just prizes and the other for your investments.

longtompot · 14/01/2023 11:01

Just joining in with the PB fun. Dh had an inheritance last year which had just been sitting in our bank, waiting until we started some work on our house. I mentioned to him about putting the money into PBs so he looked into it and finally, this week, put in a good amount. He will also be doing a smaller amount which will be for our kids, but for now will be in my name. Any money that wins will go back in and hopefully give them a good amount to do with what they will. Fingers crossed for the March draw🤞

It would be a lovely win, wouldn't it. I think this thread will become one big party if any of us wins a nice tidy sum ❤️

Okisenough · 14/01/2023 14:22

I'm building up my PB holdings again so fingers crossed for 2023! Its going to be lucky for us I am sure!
