25 for me on 5500 but just took some money out was 8500 .

Means 75 for 2022 so far which is 1% ish if I get nothing else - I ve said any year I get below 1% I ll cash out and pay the mortgage

Wasabiprawns · 04/10/2022 07:26

25 on 40k...first month

InTheCludgie · 04/10/2022 07:30

£100 on full holdings. This should have been my last month with PB as I used this account to keep my house deposit in however, this particular move isn't happening ☹️ and it looks likely I'll be staying put for longer. More opportunity for me to win the million I guess!

Sharpkat · 04/10/2022 07:32

£175 for me on full holding. That is not bad at all.

Mindymomo · 04/10/2022 07:40

£50 for both myself and DH on full holdings. I am going to wait until Christmas to see what interest rates will be. I’ve got money in savings bonds which are beginning to bring in more now the interest rates are rising.

Shinyhappyperson22 · 04/10/2022 07:41

RedHelenB · 04/10/2022 07:10

3 x£25 for me so happy with that. Will probably end up at earning 1% interest on the year the way I'm going, but if you think of it as a lottery tickets every month it's better than that.

That’s how I think of it. I’ve another saving account for every day. Not much by any means and only a few thousand in premium bonds but I see it like a lottery except I’m not parting with the cash for a ticket or several 😂🙈

My small wins have also beaten interest rates the last two years so it’s still worth it v savings accounts. Funny how the banks aren’t as quick to up the interest rates on those!

lightlypoached · 04/10/2022 07:52

Morning everyone. £25 for me this time. Slow and steady.

Parky04 · 04/10/2022 07:53

£50 for OH and £25 for me. Both on full holdings.

UrsulaPandress · 04/10/2022 07:54

£25 here on £44.5k.

UrsulaPandress · 04/10/2022 07:58

Gosh @tunnocksreturns2019 that’s an incredible win rate.

Ames85 · 04/10/2022 07:58

£25 for me and £25 for my husband. I’m grateful of a win, but to be honest I am a bit disappointed too. I had hoped for a good month with the prize increase, but it’s actually been our worst this year.

Bingo78 · 04/10/2022 07:58

4 x £25 for me having not won anything since June and having never won more than one lot of £25 ever!

zighead · 04/10/2022 08:00

Nowt for me on 22K so feeling pretty deflated. Nothing for DS on 7K either.
Well done to all the prize winners!

doodles55 · 04/10/2022 08:04

£25 here on full holding
better than nothing but a bit disappointed at the same time

PanicAtTheBigTesco · 04/10/2022 08:06

£25 on 15k, it's more than I was winning when I had £45k in there so I'm happy (hence why I took £30k out)!!

Cactusali · 04/10/2022 08:06

£125 on 2 x full holdings. Disappointing.

Iggi999 · 04/10/2022 08:08

I got £150 on full holding, pleased with that Smile

Nadal · 04/10/2022 08:08

£25 x 2 for me. First time in months. Something I guess! Nothing for DH again - hasn't won anything all year ...

RubbishDay · 04/10/2022 08:10

Not great for me on full holdings just £25. Had a streak of bad luck recently.

DH did better at £125.

FedUpWithBriiiiick · 04/10/2022 08:12

Nothing here for me 😊 well done all the winners!!

willingtolearn · 04/10/2022 08:13

£100 on full holdings.

Happy with that.

CornishTiger · 04/10/2022 08:19

Nothing here!

ServerSurfer · 04/10/2022 08:21

Hey everyone, I've just opened a premium bonds account for myself and my daughter after seeing these threads on MN ☺️ only £100 in each, and will add to them monthly! Everyone starts somewhere right 🙈

Can I be really nosey and ask, those of you with full holdings (or actually, any large amount) do you have other savings too? Or are all your savings in premium bonds for the chance you might get lucky?

I can't ever imagine having full holdings btw! But we're growing our savings now a little after I took a year off for mat leave in 2020/2021

Sorry if this is really cheeky, I'm just trying to figure out where is best to "invest" money we are saving at the mo. We have 99% of our savings in a high interest savings account at the mo!

CornishTiger · 04/10/2022 08:21

Anyone use the Alexa skill to check premium bonds. Once set up it’s so easy. Especially for my husband who literally would wait for a notification in the post……

RoachTheHorse · 04/10/2022 08:23

@ServerSurfer we have money borrowed for a specific project on the house but our builder just delayed for a period of time so stuck the money in bonds to keep it safe until we need it!
