Interesting about the protected term. And here is a transcript of a conversation on FB taken from yesterday’s launch, which I have recorded for a later date, just in case F or C contradicts themselves.
Castle: ‘??? says if we don’t have a business how will this benefit us?
love that Alison! That’s a great question!’.
Fierce: ‘Remember we talked about this in the clarity piece [sound not good and subtitling wasn’t sure about ‘clarity piece’ and nor am I], this is where this comes in. So as a student the first thing you’ll do is an initiation process into the university when you’ll go through a huge clarity exercise in terms of “who am I, what are my skill sets, what do I know that is valuable to someone else? What could I maybe teach someone? What business could I run? Is a product business suitable for me, is a service business suitable to me? Where does my skillset lie? What do I enjoy doing? What fits around my life? That’s the first step’.
Fierce: ‘So you don’t have to have a business, or even an idea ready to go. You just have to have an entrepreneurial spirit [to join us]’.
They then play there university promo video featuring images of Kings College Cambridge with a commentary about standard education not being up to scratch 🙄
At the end of the promo video:
Fierce: ‘actually, just one or two more questions that have come in, ??? says can we cancel any time? Yes! There’s no contract. We want people to be there because they want to be there, so we’ll hold you to nothing other than being an incredible example of success when you’re with us’. [tinkly laugh]
