I've only won £475 over the past 2 years on £50000 which I think is something like 0.4%. If that money was in an ISA savings account it could have earned 1.6% - or have I got that wrong?

I think you will always earn a better rate in savings

i don’t have a lot in premium bonds but always hopefully for £25

would love something like £10/25k

obv £250k be amazing and wouid be buying a Holiday home 😂

but any smaller winnings prob go to pay for gas and elec bills 🥲🥲

No, that's right. My Isa wasn't giving me 1.6% though so I moved to premium bonds.

I have a cash ISA paying 0.2%, stock & shares ISA which is so far returning 7.5% but I just love the PB. It's the chance of winning big, plus I don't need to worry about market fluctuations if I want my money out.

No big win for me this month even though there were quite a lot in my area.

None for me. Hoping for better tomorrow than last month as I got nothing in August.

Stupid question, but is this the September draw? How are people finding out today? The app says tomorrow it will reveal results.

People are talking about the million win, the rest are released tomorrow but if you win a million then you find out before. I don't know whether you get visited / called for any of the other larger prizes though.

Someone in Cardiff won £10000 with £100!

I don't look at the high winners list any more, instead I wait for the 2nd. That way I feel even more excited for the online draw!

When do any wins appear on your online account. None showing so far. Just my daughters £25 win for august.

The draw is completed a few days before the end of the month to allow security checks to be undertaken.

The millionaire winners are visited the day before the first working day of the next month, usually in the afternoon, evening.

The high value winners £5k plus results are released the same day at midnight ready for the morning (today) they are not contacted although a letter is sent out for the higher winners. (This is money release £1k plus winners)

The app and website update with all the results the next day.

If you want your numbers in the draw they have to be in your account for a full calendar month, therefore for November you have to purchase your bonds by the end of the 30th September.

I don't seem to get the woman singing in the rain. Last time I got a woman dinging about her carrot harvest!

No biggies for me this month, though quite a lot in my county and one I had to go and check how much money I put in in a particular month (sadly not that amount).

I wonder when/if they will put the ‘interest’ rate up following the last Bank of England rise? It’s definitely made a difference to my (small) winnings since June when they last increased it.

No one in my entire county got a big win this month!
