All the money will have to be withdrawn this month for house purchase, but £50 'interest' isn't too bad for the last 6 months of waiting

@ABrotherWhoLooksLikeHellMugYou I don't think we'll be able get smaller August prizes until tomorrow. Are you looking at July small prizes? It's just August high value winners showing today.

How are the bigger winners notified? There are several (unusually) from my county and I'm not sure how much DH has in as he put more in recently. Imagine!!!

I know. Amazing. They've had £25 for nearly 40 years and that's what happens. I wonder if that's the first time they've won?

If you download all winners, then there's someone who's held £5 worth since 1964 who's won £1k, and a couple of others who've held similar tiny amounts for decades who've also won a grand each.

I know it's all random and the chance of winning anything, let alone a larger prize, is virtually zero unless you have a few thousand in bonds, but it just goes to show that smaller holdings do get lucky every once in a while.

I don't know about the really big but not million wins, eg £25k or £100k, but when I won £1000, it was just in my app on the second of the month, the same as when I've won £25. So exciting obviously, but no huge fanfare.

Looking at the list theres so many with 50k in in the first place! Id love to have that in savings!

I have full holdings but that is because I am nearing retiring early and those will have to last me between retiring and state pension age.

Spent most of my life with little savings and only in the past few years have I managed to accumulate them so you never know 🤞

Nothing down to £1k as usual, so roll on tomorrow for hopefully a smattering of £25's!
