Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

I've been Reving away. I'm so slow but actually enjoying it. Potato is still slow. I'm only doing it when I'm doing something else. I'll be doing a survey between stuff loading. It's that slow.

Still jealous of people on SD.

Woot woot! My invoice was approved too. All that clicking feels worthwhile now. I'm tempted to give up K**x and focus on SD now but I just know that if do it SD will disappear. That's the trouble with these projects, you never know when they're going to end!

@YonderTweek yes, also expecting it to end suddenly and I’ll be very disappointed! Going to hammer away at it now whilst it’s still available as it feels like relatively easy money, to be honest. I was wary of putting too much time into it before my first invoice was approved, but now feel like I’ve had the green light to go for it!

@seizethecuttlefish I’ve done practically nothing on Rev this week, it was sooo quiet with the holiday on Monday and now there are files, I’m just feeling too fussy to commit to any of them! I’m miles off of my weekly goal on there, for once, which also makes me think well, what’s the point! I should really be doing as much as I can this week as baby is due next week, if she arrives on time! If she’s late then at least I’ll have another full week to get the work in.

I would stick with K aswell if I were you because I don't think SD will carry on, (unfortunately) and remember they said it was finishing on the 21st of April so we've been lucky to do more

*it was supposed to finish on the 21st of May not April

woo glad everyone's invoices got approved! Mine did too, but last month I only had the news surveys so it was for a much more paltry sum.

@swiftt I feel like I spend ages picking a file! I jump through them and they seem fine and then have a thousand speakers!!!! Seriously, I've had ones with 15 speakers. I'm turning into bloody Miss Marple.

Looking at the Riv chat and sounds like lots of problems with invoicing - has anyone here had any issues?
Making me nervous to work too many hours on it this month but then again it's the only good thing I've got at the moment

@rhij86, I work on Riv. I only invoiced for 3 hours as I only started on 30 May. My invoice was approved. I think some people on chat may have slightly taken the mick with their hours. I think someone said they were doing 30 tasks an hour which is a little low. Maybe that's why they were rejected? I think the lowest acceptable amount is 40 tasks per hour. I tend to go with an hour and 5 mins for 45 tasks. Gives me time to research the trickier ones. I think it equates to about 43 an hour.

@Catatemyhomework I'm managing about 3 pages an hour, so 45 per hour. I saw someone on there say they'd done 369 tasks in an hour
But I just saw someone say they had done 35 hours (which is more than I thought you were allowed per week) but they've been told the tool has them logged as doing nothing at all. That one made me sweat a little!

I did 3 hours yesterday and about an hour and a half so far this morning.

@rhij86 I did 9 hours before the invoice submission and it was approved fine. I’ve also been sticking to 3 pages an hour.

@seizethecuttlefish hahaha yup, I totally get that! My worst habit is choosing one, getting a couple of minutes in and then thinking actually, nah.

@swiftt oh that's good to know. Hopefully if I keep a steady pace there won't be any issues come submission time!

Arrh, no more tasks available on Riv. Literally just had lunch and sat down to get a few hours in and no more tasks available. Kind of wishing I'd done more yesterday now and left SD until today. My bad!

@Catatemyhomework ah, that’s annoying! I’ve done a few hours this morning and just on my last hour now to hit 20. Hopefully SD stays steady!

@swiftt, well done for getting in the hours. It's a good feeling isn't it? I managed my 20 hours on SD this week. Finished yesterday. Only did 8 hours on Riv and had hoped to do 5 or 6 today. Arrh well. It wasn't to be. Still there's loads in the garden I could be getting on with. Have a few seedlings to plant out!

Thanks @Frenchdoors1, you are so right. It could have gone either way! Definitely a case of sod's law! .

Do we know if Riv uploads work fairly regularly? Is it worth checking back this afternoon/evening for example?

I've managed just over 6 hours the last two days, so I've earned more in the first four days of June than I did in all of May between both App and Crp

FFS! Never thought this would happen to me but I've done over 20 hours on SD this week. I lost track of time because the week was split between the May and June invoices so I forgot how much I did in May and was focusing on June. Does anyone know what to do now? Do I just leave my extra 2 hours out of the invoice? Gosh I'm such a dick. I never work for free. Haha.

@rhij86, wow that's amazing! It's so good to have work to do isn't it. I have had a pretty dire year since Christmas. Been lucky to make £200 most months this year so May has been a godsend, almost a well needed miracle!

Riv it's quite sporadic with it's loading of data. I tend to rely on chat to say if anything has changed. Failing that, jst check the links. I think the link was without data for about 2 days last time I seem to remember. There are two links but I'm only qualified to work link 2 as I failed the exam on link 1. Although there is no data on either link at the moment apparently. I will post on here if data becomes available

@YonderTweek, if I was you, I would invoice for it and put a nore in there saying what happened. They might be ok with it as a one off. Worth a try I reckon. Worse case scenario is they reject your invoice and then you can just resubmit it minus those two extra hours. I would try and get paid for them first though!

@YonderTweek I would include them. I almost did the same, I had to sit and work out how much I’d done from May this morning before I went mad and did too much! But I checked the guidelines again and it says that repeat billings of 20+ will be rejected. I imagine if it’s a one off and it’s not massively over 20 hours, they will pay. And if not, then you can adjust the invoice. But I’d definitely bill for them and see!

Thanks peeps. Yeah, I think you get removed if you keep doing it but a one off should be ok. I have kept it on the invoice for now but I sent them a message asking if this was ok or not.

I guess I can get started with K**x then if I have all this time...
