Morning all,

Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

The message didn’t ask me to reply. It was just an automated reply that pings back and states if there are issues and ID is needed, that they will let me know in verification centre but this is blank.

I have tried to log in on a tablet and my phone, as well as downloading the app but it doesn’t say inactive anywhere (this is just what Appen have told me) but it also doesn’t say it is active. There is nothing about needing extra info or where to send it.

I have just tried the number again from above and it says that they currently cannot take any calls from anyone other than active members. Not very helpful when you also can’t email a human and just get automated replies. I feel like I’m stuck.

It might be that I just need to wait longer but Appen keep emailing to say my account will soon be closed and this is panicking me. I wish my Payoneer account had a status section so I could see what was happening with it.

@Rgy3250999 I don't know why it says that if there are issues and ID is needed that they'll let you know in the verification centre!? Hmm They definitely do want your ID for your security and theirs.
I'm just checking that you have absolutely filled everything else in on Payoneer that you can.

I thought I had filled everything in correctly but it’s hard to know what to expect and if I covered it all. I’ve logged back in so many times and can’t see anything outstanding.

Do they normally ask for the ID whilst you’re applying or afterwards? Maybe I just need to wait longer for this to be requested but I’m just worried that I won’t get anything and I’ll lose my offered assignment on Appen. I guess I can’t really do much but wait. It’s just a bit rubbish that you can’t call or email anyone for reassurance.

@Rgy3250999 I know it's frustrating when you can't speak to someone.
Have you gone to the Settings , then the drop down bar underneath where it says Verification Centre?
Sorry if you have already tried this but it's bugging me now lol and I want to try and help.

@Rgy3250999 Tbf, I cannot remember exactly when they want you to upload your ID, but a couple of posters on here recently set their account up and hopefully they'll come along soon and answer this bit for you.

Yes I’ve checked there and it’s empty. Also looked for any notifications by clicking on the bell and checked pending items. This says ‘all looks good for now’. I just wish it showed a list of things to do and which had been done and which were outstanding. I’ve refreshed my emails so many times to see if I’ve missed anything.

@Rgy3250999 I've remembered why I can't remember Grin
It's because there was a long gap as I had to renew my passport so maybe they do want the ID straight away to complete the application process.

So when you click on the verification centre it is empty, because i remember mine saying ' We still need such and such a thing from you to verify your account and that is when i rang them to say i was waiting for my new passport.
If it doesn't say anything to that description then can you email them?

If you go to their support centre and email for any reason, they just send an automated reply with some standard info on whatever you’re querying (based on which subject you have picked for your email). It doesn’t actually get a human to read it. It then marks them as dealt with!! It’s such a strange business to deal with.

I was a bit concerned as it looks like two other people have had the same issues in the last few days and despite being told their account would be assessed in 3 days, they’ve heard nothing back. I’d like to avoid this if possible.

Hey @Rgy3250999 and @Ohpulltheotherone

An update on my Payoneer stuff that might help you.
Firstly, definitely speak to someone on Live chat if you can. Go to the help centre, try asking a question and then at the bottom it says contact us.
Secondly, they took ages to verify my ‘line of work’ and this morning they’ve now asked for driving license (which was verified instantly) and bank statement which is now pending. I feel one step closer but it’s still been an absolute nightmare, just keep pestering the live chat as they’ll push it for you their end.

Also for the PP who can’t see what might be holding it up. Look in settings, verification centre and then history. That should show you what’s under review.

@Rgy3250999 Oh nooo, I hate those type of responses when your query isn't there.
Keep checking this thread and the others may be able to tell you things if they've had the same issues, or been contacted. It's such a shame because they are great when you can speak to them. I'm actually wondering now if it is a bit different to when I signed up, but they are obviously aware that people are waiting to hear so they will contact you as they can't just not do.

I got in touch with Payoneer on Twitter when I was having problems with my verification, might be worth a try if you get no luck with the chat

I hope it gets sorted out now. I can't even remember there being a live chat, it's probably on my account now lol. Or it wasn't there when I signed up at the beginning of last year. Or it was and I didn't see it lol

I’ve tried that too but live chat is currently greyed out. The other options are phone (won’t take my call) or email but automated responses.

I wonder if they’re just extra busy at the moment as this seems very strange. I’m a bit concerned about having money sat with them in the future and whether I’d be able to speak to anyone if I had issues.

I’ll let you know I hear from them. I think I’ll just have to wait and hope for the best. Thanks again for all the help though!

I signed up for payoneer only yesterday and it asked for an ID number so I put my driving license number, I didn’t have to upload anything though. My account hasn’t been approved yet and I didn’t see anywhere where I could mention Appen so we’ll see if it’s all ok. Hope you get it sorted.

@Rgy3250999 Well I hope any of this doesn't discourage you as it seems that they are actually very busy. There will be a lot of people signing up now in these times.
There will be no problem accessing your money, and I'm sure others will come on to say the same. It's all straight forward once you have been verified, that will be it.
They won't be purposely ignoring you as they'll have a backlog to reply to.

Just keep checking your account, and others who have signed up because I never get any emails or anything from them to say I have a notification to see to, I have realised that you have to keep checking it. But once you're in you're in, done!
After that you just check periodically for updates regarding terms&conditions etc like I mentioned on here the other day. Also I didn't have to put an ID number in so this may be new too.

@Rgy3250999 @Adelais Ooh I have just thought...I told them I don't have a driving licence and they asked me to renew my passport, so if you have a driving licence, you have to put the ID number in off your licence which you have done. So the process is obviously different then if you have a driving license. Ahh, I get it now.
