More Ap errors in my hour a day project so can't complete it today 🙄 looks like a widespread issue according to the chat

I am still getting an email to tell me to complete the Appen FB survey twice a week. On the project page it says to fill them in as per your e mail invite, at the same time saying it is once a week. Then on the note on the right hand side it says it is now once a fortnight!

Really fed up as this is my only project on there.

Hey guys, what is the voice recording job on Apn called? I'm not sure it's on my list.

@singsingbluesilver yes same here, but I don't think everybody's says once a fortnight, it's really odd. I haven't heard many people say once every two weeks like mine does. Twice a week by email and that is what I am doing, recording dates and times of completion until they stop sending those emails out I will keep doing it twice a week and quoting the email invitation in any tickets

Hi, I'm relatively new here but been reading these threads for a little while.
Can anyone please help me. I would be very grateful for any advice. I have registered for an Appen Contributor Portal Account and an Appen Platform Account. I had a verification email for both but now when I try to log in to my appen platform account I get the following message....

Access Denied
We're sorry, you do not have permission to access this page. That is, if it even exists.

....sometimes I get this message as soon as I press the sign in button and other times the sign in pages loads and once I have entered my email and password and press login then I get that message.

Any help or advice? Thank you

Decided to try the LB exam again. Fingers crossed

My New.....n says once a week on the website but twice a week in the emails. Currently invoicing up to 13th April shows twice a week so fingers crossed.

Also debating whether to continue with Har. Time consuming and feel like a right numpty making up random messages. Told my parents to mind their own business!

@PandemicPalava, well done for doing LB exam again. I know I should too, just can't face doing any more work on it at the moment. What date do you have to do it by? Did a couple of sample questions today and didn't get them right! Think I'm more confused than I was first time round. 🙄

Does anyone else suddenly have a crazy amount of projects showing on Ap? I logged in last night to check if I could find a new project and found like 20+ new ones. Obviously I'm going to try all of them. Haha.

In other news, I have just received a letter from the HMRC telling me to do my tax return. It will probably be a bit of a pain to do, but I was still a bit excited because I'm actually self employed now, thanks to these threads. I would be in so much trouble if I hadn't found you lot! Here's some cake as a little thank you to all of you:

Long time lurker here. Such a great thread of posts!

Anyway I signed up to Appen a week ago and applied for a few projects. I haven't heard anything yet but I understand this can take a while. However, I read somewhere about uploading my CV to Appen. Do I need to do this? I haven't been asked to upload my CV.
Also, I haven't registered any payment details yet. I know they use Payoneer. Do I need to connect my payment details now? If so how do I do this? Or do I need to wait until I get on a project?

You can upload your CV on the profile tab in the blue bar at the top. Unsure if it helps any but mine is on there.

You need to set up a Payoneer account and link it to PayPal or your bank. I have mine linked to PayPal and haven't had any issues

Rev and TakeNote are keeping me super duper busy this month but I’ve just signed up to heaps of jobs on Appen, so hoping I can switch it up a bit if I get any work from them. It’s my first month and I am so grateful to these threads already - I didn’t know any of this stuff existed!

Anyone on Byr*m? I just got on to the test and I am beyond lost!

I've got the Byr** test and although I understand what they are asking I'm going to print off the alphabet thingy at work and work on it when I've got it in front of me otherwise Im scrolling up and down

@Gatekeeper do you think it will be worth it for the pay rate?
Are we meant to be able to remember this alphabet in order to earn anything reasonable?

Just trying to work out if it's worth it or not.

Also got an email saying I was in carm*l but I can't find where to do the work 🤷‍♀️

Probably not! I would have to look at the alphabet every 30 seconds as my brain is like a blancmange these days!
