Thanks @PandemicPalava, I'm strangely excited although nervous too. It's a lot of work to do if you then don't pass. I know I'll be gutted. I will give it a whirl though. Good luck to you too. 🤞

Not a lot of potatoes to peel the last few days, or I have been picking the wrong moment

singsingbluesilver · 08/04/2021 08:45

Pr*fic was busy yesterday, but already very short, low paid studies - but I do enjoy doing them.

I also had lots of surveys on Qum** - but opening it up this morning and there is absolutely nothing there. It goes up and down so much. I am still gradually building up the money though. I am very grateful to these threads for making me several hundred pounds better off just in three months.

I do wish AP* would come through with more projects though - the FB surveys are slow and steady but I could do with something that pays out more.

Redcrayons · 08/04/2021 09:25

Finally my first Amur all done! Was quite nervous about them all.
Only one skip, website link didn’t work
Converse kids shoes, big UK site so good return, strange ice lolly moulds, a suspiciously cheap vest top from China, a cheese board (looks nice so might keep) and some contact lens. Was really unsure about them but they don’t fit any of the skip categories. UK site so hopefully a return option.

I didn’t realise you can do the reimbursements at the same time till my last item, so I’ve still got that to do later.

Thanks to everyone for advice and the spreadsheet tips.

Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 08/04/2021 09:41

Did my first Am*r yesterday too. I enjoyed it. Two skips though. A dog coat which didn't despatch to my area which was odd and a subscription for some men's underwear! Items ordered were UK and were a handmade headband which can't be returned, a skimpy ladies top and a gents watch. It was good fun!

Last week's invoice for the Appen surveys has been generated. Grin It's not much, but it's correct and it looks like every penny will count this month.

singsingbluesilver · 08/04/2021 10:32

Those who are only on the Ap* FB surveys - if you don't mind me asking - is this worth about 90$ per month? I'm not sure if my invoice is correct.

Redcrayons · 08/04/2021 11:44

I’ve only been on the News* ones for a couple of weeks, but as you’re limited to how many and it’s a fixed price that does seem too high.

You can’t submit the invoice till end of month, so they might correct it before then.

swiftt · 08/04/2021 12:00

I’m feeling good about April so far. I haven’t had any work on Ap yet, so have been investing lots of time elsewhere for now.

AnotherOne4 · 08/04/2021 12:01

@ singsingbluesilver - I’m unable to check my Appen at the moment, as not home. But that price sounds about right to me. I can double check later for you.

MarigoldMoonStone · 08/04/2021 12:12

@singsingbluesilver
depends how many you are doing? If you are doing all 3 that is probably correct. Keep track of which ones you do and when & how much they are worth.
I tally up everything on a spreadsheet as I go through the month, and mark it off as it appears on the invoice.
I only did the $7 one last month and got $63 for it.

Catatemyhomework · 08/04/2021 12:17

@singsingbluesilver, I think that is about right. I think I get approx $80 for all the surveys. Bit more for a long month. Also add in the extra Nao survey we had in March.
I have received 2 of my A
ur purchases today. It's like Christmas! One is a beautiful smocked dress for a baby/toddler. I will send it back though as mine are all teens now. I do know people with babies but they're boys! Also a hugely oversized buffalo hoodie. It's ok, but I'd never have chosen it myself. I might keep and give to dd1 as it was cheap and postage may not be worth hassle. Still waiting for a toddlers coat and a tight spandex silver dress in a size 8. Can't imagine I'll be wearing that anytime soon! 😆

The Crisp queues are now looking very healthy. Brew Cake Brew Cake Brew Cake Grin

CrepuscularCritter · 08/04/2021 12:23

Late checking in this month, with just under £350 last month. Love @dirtyfries best buy to date. I have an almost matching precision cutter which DH has refused to use to shave his head during lockdown.

Quick Am** question if I may. Has anyone been sent via Insta to purchase? There's a website in the Insta bio I can buy from, but I am probably overthinking it as to whether that's OK.

Heyha · 08/04/2021 12:27

With the surveys I've never hit the sweet spot of doing all of them (plus I don't do UI as they never replied to invoicing issues like the New* did) so I'm aiming for that this month. Tried the extra segmentation one but I don't think it's worked. Took about 1 minute though so I won't lose any sleep, just won't do again.

MarigoldMoonStone · 08/04/2021 12:38

@CrepuscularCritter I would buy from the bio link if I got something like that. Ask/search in the chat to be sure

RaininSummer · 08/04/2021 13:19

This was my Am** for April. Managed to buy all 6 such as they are: men's boots, stretchy bra things, leggings, photo light, goth denim jacket from America, and a weird bag for bathing a cat!

CrepuscularCritter · 08/04/2021 13:22

Thanks @MarigoldMoonStone. I am sure I am secondguessing myself but I will check in chat too. The item itself is definitely OK to purchase.

MoreMoneyPlease · 08/04/2021 17:14

Phew, just finished my A'r purchases. I found it very stressful, hopefully it'll be easier next time. Thank you so much for the people who suggested keeping a spreadsheet!

AnotherOne4 · 08/04/2021 18:25

Clickworker still not working Sad

Frenchdoors1 · 08/04/2021 18:29

@AnotherOne4 I know 😞

AnotherOne4 · 08/04/2021 18:33

@Frenchdoors1 - Do we know what's going on? It's been down awhile.

Frenchdoors1 · 08/04/2021 18:35

@AnotherOne4 I'll pm you Smile

Ejsk · 08/04/2021 19:23

Ejsk · 08/04/2021 19:23

@Frenchdoors1 do you know what is happening with clickworker, I also can’t get on?
