Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

@rhij86 I've quite enjoyed it. It was a really good earner last year when I was doing 20+ hours a week, but then it all dried up for months which wasn't great. There's a new pilot that I'm working on atm and I've done something silly like 60 hours in the last week and a bit so I'm pleased. So I suppose work is sporadic but you can get some hours in if you're lucky. Some pilots have been more exciting than others but it is mainly data annotation and labelling, and some listening tasks. Basic stuff really, but I've liked it.

I also got invited to Knox but can't see the project listed. I also got invited to Hawea. Has anyone else, got this? Think it's search engine evaluation work. I haven't been asked to do this round of Neevo calls, well I was asked and then didn't hear anything from them about it. I don't understand how 17 calls could not be valid. Unless you were the customer and there was a technical problem at the agent's end possibly. They should tell you though. Not surprised you're pissed off. No work here for me at the moment. Desperate for a new project. Will try and work longer on B@ne in April's run.

@Catatemyhomework yeah I got invited to Hawae as well, got straight in with no test but it doesn't look like the project is actually live yet?

Hi all, glad to see things are ticking over. Hope people with Neevo issues get it sorted. It's so frustrating. In a first ever, all my March purchases for Am&& arrived!

I also got the Kn&& email but I'm on it already and never had any work.

@Redruby2020 sorry my laptop did die. New one set up. Like everyone here it's for a variety of things. This is my only income so I try and get a decent amount. I work between a few things. Appen and Crisp mainly. I keep saying I need to widen my scope but haven't managed yet.

I still don't know what some of the jobs are though?

@rhij86, ooh I don't know if it's live yet. I just got the generic thank you for registering for this project email. I hope it comes to fruition. 🤞

Aggh, just had an email that my long-term App'n project has come to an end - I've only been on it 3 months and assumed I'd be on it all year. My work was fine but apparently they've received sufficient data from me... I've slacked off on other projects because I knew I had this one. Oh well, time for me to pull my finger out!

I got pulled of the African river one last week but had been on nearly 14 months so can't complain..do miss it though

no invite to K**x so feel a bit cheated

I was doing a one-off photo project but ran out of subjects so didn't complete it immediately. I just got an email encouraging me to finish the project (which I might do if I walk around the house a bit more and find stuff to photograph!), but they also said that after completing this project you can move on to another task where you will take pictures of your children, and apparently the pay is good. I was like because I don't even put photos of my kid on social media so there's no way I'll send them over to strangers on the internet. I get why they would need them but it's a no from me.

I was the callee.
I didn't know it could be played back, so no.

It does say in their FAQs that they can't tell you why tasks are rejected, but I asked anyway.

The other person on the call seemed to hear me all right, each time.
It's not a huge amount of cash to miss out on, but annoying all the same - especially with no idea why.

Oh no @MoreMoneyPlease which one were you on? How disappointing.

@MyMajesty that's awful... I know they sometimes don't pay the full amount if some don't meet quality standards, but to not pay any

@MyMajesty That's the thing with them. They can and do reject work and we never find out why. I've not worked for them for a while (mostly because I like the listening tasks more and there have not been many of those recently) and I don't miss the random rejections. I hope you get some payment for the calls.

@Zancah - Have you had a chance to retake the Intellizoom test?
I did mine and again, and managed to pass.

I I haven't! I've had all the kids at home the last couple of days, isolating while we wait for a covid test result, so I didn't dare do it. I wanted to give it my full attention. (I haven't done any tasks, on any of the platforms - not earned a penny!)
I might attempt it tomorrow if I can shut myself in my office for a bit while dh has the kids.

@MyMajesty that's awful but doesn't surprise me. I refuse to work for them as they are always pulling stunts like that. Keep pushing though as I've managed to get rejected ones paid before by being a pain in the arse. It's not my fault their QA systems aren't good enough, I refuse to work for free and they shouldn't let you carry on if the first one isn't up to scratch I don't think.

I liked them because most of their tasks are quite simple. I don't like them enough to do them for free, tho.

@MyMajesty good luck. I don't do much Neevo as I was done out of nearly $80 as they decided my work didn't meet quality checks after I'd worked on it over numerous days. I did get some of it back. They used to be great but the last year or so they've been a nightmare.

@YonderTweek I'm doing the photo one but no idea if I'm doing it right. Seems a bit simple but here's hoping.

@Gatekeeper and @MoreMoneyPlease I'm on a 1 hr a day one and I'm dreading it finishing. It's nice steady money and not complicated. I don't have much on Ap these days.

Anyone else on At&& on Ap? I must have done a dozen new guidelines in the last week and there's still no work. New laptop has touch screen. It's making potato much quicker and my wrist isn't killing me. That was a good purchase.

@seizethecuttlefish - you asked how everyone else is ticking along. It's been a bit of a struggle for me. I desperately need a long term project, something I know is always there for me to work on.
I'm ticking along on all the usual sites. Just waiting for UserTesting to get going. I did one job for them, just waiting for it to be rated.
This is the first month I'm really keeping track of everything though, so it'll be interesting to see how much I've made at the end of the month.

I have been reading these posts for a while now and found them really interesting. I'm a stay at home mum with young twins so looking to earn a little bit extra. I don't have much free time just a bit in the evenings.
I signed up to Prolific last month and earned £20 on there so far and £15 on Qmee.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with Neevo.... I registered the other day and took the practise tests for image tagging correction and image and video correction. I read all the guidelines and thought I understood what to do, obviously not as I failed the practise test. I had two chances on each test but failed both. Feeling a bit deflated about this. Will I get more work from them? I havent had any more work since my fails on the practise tests. I have also read comments about Neevo on a review website about people not getting paid recently and work getting rejected. Is it worth trying to continue with Neevo. I would really appreciate and help or advice.
