No so much an MLM (these involve some sort of product exchanging hands), but a pure pyramid recruitment scheme.
The set up is this: you pay something like £200 to 'train' as a 'travel agent', the a monthly fee (not cheap either) to stay registered on their books.
If you recruit someone else, you get a cut of their training and registration fees etc. etc...
From what I can tell, any holidays that might get sold are entirely incidental (especially given that they don't have access to better deals than anyone else and, well, there seems to be some sort of global pandemic going on...) to the pyramid scheme...
So yes, you should be concerned for your friend, but tread carefully with your approach to her, as she may be at the stage of bottedness where any questioning or sounding of a note of caution might well be perceived as 'negative dream stealing by jealous haters who don't want her to succeed'...
