That is sad. Someone has persuaded her that she can have a ‘side hustle’ and make some extra cash
Sadly she’ll end up spending more than she makes
I hate those exploitative uplines

Twentytwentyhindsight · 30/10/2020 16:54

@MrsJamin Ignite2020 is PlanNet/Inteletravel.

No so much an MLM (these involve some sort of product exchanging hands), but a pure pyramid recruitment scheme.

The set up is this: you pay something like £200 to 'train' as a 'travel agent', the a monthly fee (not cheap either) to stay registered on their books.

If you recruit someone else, you get a cut of their training and registration fees etc. etc...

From what I can tell, any holidays that might get sold are entirely incidental (especially given that they don't have access to better deals than anyone else and, well, there seems to be some sort of global pandemic going on...) to the pyramid scheme...

So yes, you should be concerned for your friend, but tread carefully with your approach to her, as she may be at the stage of bottedness where any questioning or sounding of a note of caution might well be perceived as 'negative dream stealing by jealous haters who don't want her to succeed'...

Wig has shared a post from a "nurse" which says the NHS were all sat down and told COVID was fake but they had to go along with the hoax for the sake of their jobs. Now the good ones are coming forward and whistleblowing but the ones who are "in it for the glory" are still carrying on pretending the virus is real.

I'm actually sitting on my hands to stop me going on there and giving it both barrels - luckily quite a few are calling her out 😡

Spongebobette · 31/10/2020 10:39

Some people are calling her out but there are plenty of likeminded nutters supporting her dangerous and crazy lies
I despair

fitgirl26 · 31/10/2020 11:21

What drives me mad is that my son is one of those mathematical modellers doing the research right now. He's working on an interface that will allow local CCGs to input data and then work out at what point their hospitals will not be able to cope. He actually sees the data on a daily basis. And then you get fuckwits like Wig saying she's done her research 😡

On another subject - I've just found out I'm probably going to be made redundant from my full time job and oh boy am I glad I know all about MLM. The ones like Body Shop At Home look so appealing as a way of earning a few extra pennies and a couple of friends have just signed up and are starting the "join my team" spiel. I'm sure they will have initial success especially with another lockdown looming which means non essential shops may close. But at least I'm clued up as to the long term prospects.

Spongebobette · 31/10/2020 11:45

Oh sorry to hear that @fitgirl26

Lemming20 · 31/10/2020 11:57

Very sorry to hear @fitgirl26. Isn’t it awful that there is a business model which seems to prey on people who have been made redundant and on Mat leave. I’d definitely have been vulnerable if not for you lovely people educating me x

BSintolerant · 31/10/2020 12:06

I’m sorry to hear your news @fitgirl26 and glad to know you’re alive to MLM, social selling, network marketing, direct sales (or whatever the DSA wants to call MLM). Why do people need Body Shop and Avon bots to buy from when they can go online and buy directly from the websites?

Wig is beyond help. As she thinks the pandemic is all a hoax presumably she will remain beyond help if she ends up seriously ill with the virus.

On the subject of the dangers of MLM knob heads fuelling conspiracy theories, this is a very good article:

fitgirl26 · 31/10/2020 12:24

Thanks for the kind wishes 😘
That's a really interesting article @BSintolerant!

Tupperwarelid · 31/10/2020 12:49

I hope you find another job soon fitgirl.

Norma27 · 31/10/2020 13:04

I'm sorry about your job fitgirl.
I bet yawn et al are running their hands with glee at the new victims the likely lockdown will bring.
Absolute vile vultures.

thetemptationofchocolate · 31/10/2020 13:23

I think I know who Coco the Clown is but can someone give me a clue so I know if I am on the right track, please?

kittykarate · 31/10/2020 13:42

The Con Artists podcast has just released two episodes on Herbalife. I haven't listened to it yet, I'm about 30 episodes behind

ticktock19 · 31/10/2020 16:46

So sorry to hear about your job @fitgirl26, hope something else turns up soon.
@thetemptationofchocolate if you look on wig or Sleazes pages then they are always tagging coco in their posts. His name is unusual and his first name begins with G.

Jasmin82 · 31/10/2020 23:22

Browsing fb earlier, I think I may have discovered a dog food MLM. They aren't on the master list, but the wording of their ads for "ambassadors" sounds quite dodgy, so it's possible they are very new. The only way to get any information about their ambassador programme is to apply for it, which set off a few red flags. I won't name them as it's entirely possible they aren't a MLM. However, I'm not willing to bet the house on it being completely 100% legit Wink

BSintolerant · 31/10/2020 23:29

A pyramid made of cans of dog food - that’s all we need.

screwthepyramids · 01/11/2020 08:46

I forgot about Sacked. By the look of it she works with Hays travel now, is that an MLM arm or has she actually gone legit now?

CompleteBarstool · 01/11/2020 08:57

The vulturecthat is Yawn didnt waste much time posting about helping people who are worried about their income with this second lockdown.

I notice though (and I'm sure I've seen her employ this tactic before) that if nobody comments she forces some interaction by tagging someone who has liked the post.

No doubt that tip is included in her famous amaaaaazing free training.

SSDGM · 01/11/2020 10:20

Can’t see anything about Hays on Sacked’s timeline, just fancying herself, endless FM and squeeing that her next rank will pay her £37k or something.

Hays do have homeworkers but if you don’t have experience you will need to join an academy, which for a lot of travel companies means around a £10K layout to pay for your training. This is why Inteletravel seems like such a bargain to those who don’t really understand the industry.

Spongebobette · 01/11/2020 11:46

The dungareed guru is opening up his self esteem 'programme' to men - he's worked exclusively with women up till now
I'm sure it's not because he's desperate

I find it quite alarming he mentions make suicide in his spiel - linking it to the low self esteem which of course he cures you of

Dangerous territory

Spongebobette · 01/11/2020 11:46

MALE suicide

fitgirl26 · 01/11/2020 11:48

Sleaze should really learn how to spell acquiesce. Unless he means that following lockdown rules makes you a bit watery 😂

ticktock19 · 01/11/2020 11:50

I so want to comment on his appalling spelling but am trying to refrain

funkylittleboatrace · 01/11/2020 13:00

Apparently business is booming for yawn 🙄 🤥

CodenameVillanelle · 01/11/2020 13:35

WW is tragic and dangerous. Clearly suffering with his mental health, in the middle of a divorce and regularly referencing his own abusive relationships in which I think he includes the one he was in 5 minutes ago yet he is touting himself as a therapist/counsellor/guru to people with low self esteem based on zero professional qualifications or supervision. What a clown.
