@windmill26

Any idea how long it takes for the winnings to get paid out in the Bank Account?
Mine last month was in on 8th Dec

Nothing for me this month.
So disappointed!

AliceLutherNeeMorgan · 05/01/2021 14:09

We got 3 x £25 on our £60k holdings this month. Better than last month, which was 2 x £25, as I recall

OublietteBravo · 05/01/2021 14:14

Just £25 this month (on a £45k holding).

1987qwerty · 05/01/2021 14:25

Usually pick up a couple of £25s on max holding. Checked earlier and stunned to see £500 this month.

yellowstoneranch · 05/01/2021 14:42

I've just found some very old (70's & 80's) premiumBonds that my now late Nan bought for me when I was growing up.

Online can't verify the numbers, possibly too old?? How else do I get them checked & updated to my current address ? Is there a form or ring a number?

@Blondeshavemorefun
Thank you :)

Popped up with two prizes so though fab £50 - first was £25 and second was £1,000 - bloody brilliant , that’s 1,200 in 4 months on £20k holiday

What a great start to the new year, congratulations.

Well I have barely any money in PBs compared to lots of you on here but I have finally paid all of debt off and am in good standing money wise so have put some in just for good fun! I've wanted to do it as seen the threads here for a few months now, I doubt I will win but it's very exciting anyway, bring on 1st March Grin and I can't wait to find out what you all win!

Gogreengoblin · 05/01/2021 18:15

'If there's any truth in that, it will only be because more bonds are owned by people who live in the south of England, which may well be true.'
That's what I meant thanks x

DrMadelineMaxwell · 05/01/2021 18:26

I have £18k and won nothing. Again.
DH has £24k and won 5 x 25 and wins most months.

I've put an extra £1k in this month to raise my chances...when they finally qualify for the draw.

BrandoraPaithwaite · 05/01/2021 20:05

Between my 2 friends and me, one out of the 3 of us tends to get £25 each month. December was my turn!

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 05/01/2021 20:30

Nothing on max holdings.

Ratbagcatbag · 05/01/2021 20:42

I've got £5,250. Haven't had anything since last May. But for me I save £250 every month in there. I was always rubbish at saving, and this way I find it easy and I may win something along the way. At some point I should probably make my chances better by withdrawing it all and then putting it back in one lump sum.

MummytoCSJH · 05/01/2021 21:01

@Ratbagcatbag how will that make your chances better? Genuine question I'm very new to this!

iwantavuvezela · 05/01/2021 21:09

Nothing this month - hope others are lucky 🤞

JayAlfredPrufrock · 05/01/2021 21:12

£25 again

Steady.

AaronPurr · 05/01/2021 21:15

It doesn't have an impact on the odds of winning. Each bond has an equal chance. If anything it decreases your chance, as you have to miss 2 draws whilst you wait for the new bonds to be added.

Wintersunn · 05/01/2021 21:18

First month with 15k holdings - £25. Better than nought so I’m happy.

StanfordPines · 05/01/2021 21:28

Just saw this thread pop up and thought you might like to hear this.

When I got married my mum sent me my premium bonds to change my name. It was only a few. Back then the bonds were actual bits of paper. So I changed my name then they got lost in a move.
We were talking about premium bonds the other day and I decided to chase these ones up and buy some more.

After some effort it turns out that the bonds now registered in my name were actually my mum’s and were originally bought in 1957.
In all that time they have won nothing. Not one penny.
