@YonderTweek I'm on the Appen A*ur project where you buy items and just about to start my first round of buying today!
I'll keep the thread updated with how it goes including the reimbursement step next week. Quite excited though - first item on my list to buy (and keep for free) is a nice looking cable knit jumper :)

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 10:41

@GailLondon, I have tried to apply for that project, but when I click on 'learn more', I get 'Qualifications (hidden) Access Denied' and then some stuff saying that I don't have permission to access the resource. It's a shame as I'd love to do this project. Would be so handy with Christmas coming up too! Did you have problems with access initially?

GailLondon · 07/10/2020 11:03

@Catatemyhomework hmm I applied for that one after receiving an email asking for more testers and it went through fine.....it might be that they have now shut the applications. You could always drop a line to support in case there is an issue that they might be able to resolve. Fingers crossed!

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 11:08

@GailLondon, thanks for your reply. You could be right, they may have enough testers already. I have tried to message them, but I can't select that project from my dropdown list when I click on the email icon as I'm not registered yet so it's not available to me IYSWIM. Good luck with it though, it sounds awesome and very exciting!

YonderTweek · 07/10/2020 13:13

@GailLondon Thanks! I'd be interested to hear how you get on. Smile

I think work may be slooowly picking up again. We'll see. Obviously it always happens when I've made plans with my son, so I end up trying to plan activities around laptop time. Blush I think I'll leave it until tonight and see if anything is available then. I promised my boy we would make a pumpkin cake so that is the priority here. Grin

Buster27 · 07/10/2020 13:14

@GailLondon ahh so jealous, I want on that one Grin interested to hear how it goes! I got 'accepted' but couldn't access project, raised a ticket to be told they were full. Maybe one day!

TheSeedsOfADream · 07/10/2020 13:17

I signed the docs for Am** this morning. Don't know if that means I'm on, or now will be told they're full anyway!
It was the easiest test I've done so far on A so if it crops up for anyone, go for it.

Finally a £2.50 Prolific this morning after total tumbleweed or 20p surveys for weeks for me.

ruralwanderer · 07/10/2020 15:31

I've made £3.13 on Prolific over yesterday and today (mainly driven by a £2.50 survey this morning!) It's bleak at the moment! Very jealous @GailLondon, that project looks amazing! Keep us posted Grin

GailLondon · 07/10/2020 15:49

Project Am** update:
Went through my first 5 items this morning,I have to do 15 this week. You have to buy the item shown in the advert if the link takes you to that item directly, but if the link takes you to a shop homepage, you can buy any item that you like :) So far I've had:

  1. a cable knit jumper £30 2)safety glasses £4
  2. A 'galaxy projector' - shines stars onto the ceiling £55
  3. a face shield £24 and 5) is any item I like from Village Habedashery . co.uk which has crochet kits and sewing fabrics So its a real mixed bag! So far so good
Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 16:11

@GailLondon, that sounds amazing. It's like Christmas every day! I so want to do it! Smile

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 16:14

I'm still plodding on with the Neevo elicitation tasks, although the price has gone up now which is good.

ruralwanderer · 07/10/2020 16:35

@Gaillondon, that sounds so cool. Do you get an hourly rate as well as being reimbursed or is the payment being able to keep the items?

CornflakeHill · 07/10/2020 17:01

@Catatemyhomework Yes, I'm plodding on with Neevo. Not much else to do but I'm not sure I'll make it to 1,000!

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 18:58

@CornflakeHill, not sure I'll make it to 200 the rate I'm going!

CornflakeHill · 07/10/2020 19:19

Yeah, it's pretty dull! I'm on 150...

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 19:31

I'm stopping at 150. Need a break now. Plus the system is running really slowly for some reason.

DownThePlath · 07/10/2020 19:40

@Catatemyhomework
I wondered if it was just my wifi ... really slow. I'm only on 45 and struggling!

Catatemyhomework · 07/10/2020 19:43

@DownThePlath, I think it's a Neevo issue as no one else in the house is having wifi issues. I've been on it for about 5 hours today and my brain has given up I think. Plus my fingers hurt from all the typing! Tomorrow is another day if they are still available.

seizethecuttlefish · 07/10/2020 23:22

@GailLondon so jealous. I've never managed to get on it.

SengaMac · 08/10/2020 03:03

I'm glad to hear others are slogging on with Nxxxo.
I was wondering if I was the only mug knocking out the 8c groups of sentences.
Also glad to be the on the higher priced ones now.
It's amazing how brain numbing they are, tho. :-D

Rad2016 · 08/10/2020 09:17

Morning guys, I just got accepted to project Nile. Looking forward to it. Just one hour a day sounds good. Anyone on it and any tips please?

NancyBannister · 08/10/2020 11:45

Rad2016 I was accepted on to Nile but still waiting for access :/

I had a £7.50 Prolific study this morning - my highest paid one ever!

CornflakeHill · 08/10/2020 12:04

Anyone done the M**bo task? Did it make sense once you actually started doing it??

Rad2016 · 08/10/2020 12:11

Wow NancyBannister Thats huge. I think highes I've had with prolific is 2.50. Well done. Way to go. Thanks for reply, didn't realise I needed access. Will check email again

Buster27 · 08/10/2020 13:17

@Rad2016 I've been doing N for just over a month, it's nice and easy so you'll be fine. Just pay attention to any audits/feedback you get as they'll tell you if your answers are missing anything (I've had a few so it doesn't mean you'll get kicked off or anything!).

@CornflakeHill I've done it, you get examples throughout so yes it makes sense. Although I haven't been quality checked yet Grin
