All the links are mucked up from the last thread so I've copied and pasted an old list. Hope they are right and please ask if you want a direct link.

I've never removed any extensions or anything for Appen. The sign in thing can be because you do different Appen tasks on different interfaces iyswim? For example my long term Appen task I do by clicking their link on the main page. I also do one on the F8 site and am doing one on Appen China which is a different one altogether!

The F8 one told me there was work today for the first time since July so I rushed over to find one query. Hmm

Re: The IP address thing. We often go away in our motorhome and I use my Mac Laptop with MiFi in the motorhome and the 'big' Windows computer at home. No IP issues with Appen ever and I do quite a bit with them (full time).

LittleMissRedHat · 09/09/2020 17:22

@Tinging

Sorry to tag you again, I tried to sign up to Populus but it wouldn't accept my postcode, no problems on the other sites! So I tried my sister's as it's pretty close and it wouldn't accept that either. Both properties have been around a long time! Any ideas? Sad

On the plus side, although I haven't earnt anything with Prolific yet, I have earnt £2.27 on QMEE!! Smile

Thanks @Azerothi and @TheSeedsOfADream Smile

@LittleMissRedHat

I guess I'm looking for the online equivalent of envelope stuffing or BT box construction

That would be the Neevo Validate the Pronunciation tasks. Literally seconds per task. However, I have had three tasks where I apparently didn't meet quality standards and didn't get paid.

So now, when they send a new task, I just spend 5-10 minutes on it, and wait to see if it gets paid. Then I know what I do for that task is good enough for them.

The call variation ones are good too, I've just done 50 of those in an hour, should pay €13. I have a notepad with openings "I'm ringing to complain", "I'd like to complain", "I want to make a complaint" etc so that as soon as the topic comes up I can press the take call button without having to think about it too much.

Those of you who have been doing this for a while, how do you log your earnings? I started a spreadsheet, and that's fine for Neevo but if I added every streetbees survey, I'd be logging several times a day!

I was so busy with the Potato surges, I missed it entirely!

MrsWombat · 09/09/2020 19:16

@Wolfff I think it's broken so check back later.

Got an hour of B* in, I can't really be bothered with the ranking one but the collection one is nice and easy!

Gatekeeper · 09/09/2020 19:16

managed 8 before it ran out...that last three queries were part filled out as well which threw me!

ruralwanderer · 09/09/2020 19:46

Missed B entirely tonight - by the time I'd fed, bathed and put the kids to bed, it was all over. Hopefully W will land soon and last longer!

Baby89 · 09/09/2020 20:26

Am I the only one that has to think hard about neevo call openings

Tinging · 09/09/2020 22:41

@LittleMissRedHat oh that’s really strange, mine was accepted no problem. You could maybe try and email them, it’s [email protected]

WotsitWiggle · 10/09/2020 00:22

@Baby89
Write some down so it's easier. I've done retail so far, things that came up were making a complaint, praise for good customer service, how to return an item, asking for or how to do something, spelling names, giving a PIN.

DownThePlath · 10/09/2020 01:04

UHRS has been on fire tonight. Busiest i've seen it in ages

tootyfruitypickle · 10/09/2020 06:29

B* is so annoying, with the evening alerts and so little work. That first month was so great when we got a ton of work in normal hours!!

LittleMissRedHat · 10/09/2020 08:37

@WotsitWiggle Thank yuo, I'll have a look! I have no idea what you are talking about though! Do you have to physically take calls? I don't think my big girl pants are THAT big yet! Grin

@Tinging, thank you, will try again today and if not I'll email them. It's strange, they are both just normal postcodes in a normal area.

LittleMissRedHat · 10/09/2020 08:45

@Tinging I'm all signed up! Nothing was happening when I clicked the "Look up" button yesterday. It's worked fine today. Must have just been a glitch either on their system or my laptop.... Let's see!!

LittleMissRedHat · 10/09/2020 08:58

@Tinging Okay, so now I'm feeling REALLY stupid. Blush I've filled in the demographics and business details but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to "get started"! Do they send you stuff or what?

MrsWombat · 10/09/2020 09:42

Bane is back working.

It's an automated call, not a real person. I like them, but you might prefer some of their other tasks.
Trial and error.
Maybe start with the survey sites and see how you go?

0htooooodles · 10/09/2020 10:13

@MrsWombat 👍🏻 thanks! Back to work I go 😁

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 10/09/2020 10:26

Oh for god sake, MNHQ have deleted my link again. Bit confused as to why some are allowed and some are not!

Anyway, if anyone wants an UpVoice link then PM me! I do get some cash from it but so does anyone using it.

TheSeedsOfADream · 10/09/2020 11:08

I'm doing B*** this morning and have been on it for 2 hours, I keep thinking it's going to run out but they keep coming. I've done 61 X 5 queries so far. If I "give up" those I've done won't get erased will they?
Apologies for stupid question, it's the first time I've been on time clicking the email to actually find the queries there!
