All the links are mucked up from the last thread so I've copied and pasted an old list. Hope they are right and please ask if you want a direct link.

When do I know if my tasks have been approved? Do they tell you straight away?

WonderTweek · 15/09/2020 22:49

@Nets888 They don't flat out tell you if they've been approved. I think they just kick you out of the job if your work is not up to their standard. Happens every now and then, but could also be a glitch or other randomness so don't take it personally. Grin I find that when the job has been closed and they are sending out their payments, I check the work history and it will tell me where they have paid me for part of the job and left a bit out because something I had done hadn't met their quality standards. Think last time I had done like 476 tasks and was paid for 474 so it wasn't too bad.

I think you need patience with Neevo as they don't issue payments straight away. Sometimes jobs can stay open for weeks/months and then they'll have to be checked as well, so you may need to wait for a while before you get paid. But when you do get paid it's a nice surprise. Haha.

SengaMac · 15/09/2020 22:57

I don't know how essential it is to comment on those ones. I did comment on most of them.
Maybe you could try contacting them to ask if it matters that you didn't comment.

Their FAQs say that you get paid 2 weeks after all the tasks in a job are finished, by everyone.
I presume that's 2 weeks after the job is marked Closed in your Work History, but I haven't been keeping a close eye on that.
I'm still figuring it out too.

Nets888 · 15/09/2020 23:03

@SengaMac, thanks for your explanation. I think I will not complete any more until I get paid. I only commented on four tasks out of 500! So I guess no payment for me then.

SengaMac · 15/09/2020 23:15

I hope you do get paid.

tootyfruitypickle · 16/09/2020 06:38

I’ve been accepted onto TI*s. Anyone else doing this and is it good?

Buster27 · 16/09/2020 09:50

@TheLolaMontez I've been doing N*le a couple of weeks, never been able to do it on mobile but has worked fine on desktop.

Anyone doing ec** on appen? If so how is it? I've just qualified.

Mancbee · 16/09/2020 11:14

@Buster27 I've just failed the e@@@ exam, I thought I was doing ok with it too! Confused

tootyfruitypickle · 16/09/2020 11:32

I failed it too! I’m always failing qualifications!

Same here! Thought I was doing quite well too! I've got the daily FB one on Ap too, but the first survey link didn't work yesterday so I'm hoping that was a one-off. I'm getting into the swing of things with Neevo today.

TheSeedsOfADream · 16/09/2020 11:44

@Winterjoy, contact the researcher and tell them. Sometimes it's their fault. I had one a few weeks ago and contacted them to say "oi" and she said she was new to Prolific and didn't know what she was supposed to do! Which, frankly, is not our problem.

MoreB*** transcriptions this morning but have stonking migraine after trying to up my potato on Monday and catch up with real job webinars and whatnot so will be cleaning cupboards out and giving screens a miss today sadly.

WonderTweek · 16/09/2020 12:29

I can't access the daily FB survey either on Ap. Got invited yesterday and there's no link anywhere, or I'm just not looking in the right places. Confused

TheyThoughtItWasAllOver · 16/09/2020 12:57

I found it under a tab called 'survey' (even though in the main text it said 'link above' which implied it was on that page). Tried again today but still not working.
TheyThoughtItWasAllOver · 16/09/2020 13:02

Anybody done the speech variant job on Neevo like to give an indication of how many can be done in an hour? I can't do it today anyway so maybe it will be gone by tomorrow. I suspect it isn't many given they seem to be needing to provide more incentive to get the job finished!

Antsintheattic · 16/09/2020 13:25

Anyone starting matched betting soon? DC2 due in two months so if I'm going to do it I think now is a good time to start!

I did do two opening offers via Profit Accumulator at the beginning of the year but did find it a bit fiddly getting started. There will still be plenty of offers left though and it being fiddly is no excuse really I guess when I know I could earn money doing it

For some reason I sometimes do feel uncomfortable with the concept, but do feel I should get on with it an hour a night

SengaMac · 16/09/2020 13:31

This is from an email I got about the neevo job for comparing two voices :

"If you find that both recordings sound identical you can choose Neither, and write: audios sound the same. These jobs are subjective, but if the platform sees you clicking too fast the same answer over and over it may affect your quality."

Nets888 · 16/09/2020 13:40

A quick question regarding tax returns. I know you need to fill in a tax return if earnings is over £1000 but does that include vouchers like Amazon? I do a number of surveys and the rewards are Amazon vouchers so do I need to include these vouchers as earnings?

Februarycat · 16/09/2020 13:41

@shazza292022 have sent you a pm re Cloudworkers

MrsWombat · 16/09/2020 14:23

The New* link isn't working for me either. I'm guessing they've invited us before giving us permission to the relevant bit of the website.

I have completed all the Telco, insurance baking whatever calls from Neevo. 266 of them. I see they say there's a bonus if you do them all but does anyone know what the bonus is?!

I have seen $10 dollar bonus for 250 across all four sections, so I don't know if you'll need to do a few from each of the other three groups to get that?
Horehound · 16/09/2020 15:41

Yes I did all four sections. Didn't write it properly.
Oh so $10 would be good!

TheyThoughtItWasAllOver · 16/09/2020 16:06

Could I ask how long it took you roughly? It might not still be available tomorrow when I can next do some, and I don't have masses of time then either so I doubt I'll be asking for the bonus, but it would be great to know beforehand what to aim for with the short time I do have! Or if it takes a while to get up to a good speed, I might not bother. Thanks
TheyThoughtItWasAllOver · 16/09/2020 16:10

*aiming not asking! Grin

Catatemyhomework · 16/09/2020 16:14

Does anyone know if a project on Appen that requires you to have FB means that you have to be an active FB poster? I am considering applying for one, but haven't posted anything on there in over a year. I do still have a FB account though. Just not sure what they mean by 'active'.
