It's a brand new month so have started a new thread.

I've had few emails from Neevo over the weekend offering work, however I still haven't received payment for tasks I did at the beginning of May so am giving them a wide berth. Anyone else?

@NCforsafety use the chat function and payment option and send them screenshots of them - that's what I've done anyway.

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 05/06/2020 11:17

Thanks for the heads-up @NCforsafety

Checks have just flagged up I've received a "work didn't meet quality standards" stamp on one of the differentiating between the better of two computerised voices tasks. How can a fluent English speaker with perfect hearing get such a task wrong, especially when you're backing up your reasoning with a written explanation!

I think they often just decide for themselves "well you maybe think A is better, but we prefer B so you're wrong!" Utter nonsense.

lilmishap · 05/06/2020 11:29

I go through the chat bot thing usually, they've ignored any email I've sent. There's a fair few I've just not been paid anything for, I had to stop looking cause my youngest told me off for the swear words

finaglingdog · 05/06/2020 11:33

Wow. I've just looked at the neevo overview and have been paid for 100 tasks out of 800. That was back in April and I just assumed the rest would come at some point. What the actual f...? If they had stopped me, I wouldn't mind but never had any indication there was an issue with work quality plus- they weren't done in one go so I can't see why they wouldn't be able to check and pull me off it. So angry.
On a separate note- would anyone mind if I used a trading link?

ruralwanderer · 05/06/2020 11:38

@finaglingdog, please use my Trading 212 link :)

TACDE9L99 I did 124 and paid for 14!!!

seizethecuttlefish · 05/06/2020 13:28

Definitely not convinced that the neevo job history tracker is right. It's saying I was only paid for 3 tasks in a job in November while my tracker and PayPal show more. Also the audio correction task is showing a lot less than they actually paid me (which was still pitiful). I've no work available now anyway but I won't be working with them again, anytime soon!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/06/2020 13:47

Robot shooting was back on cw today and it actually worked this time. Easy money but i've got a heaadache now as I normally wear glasses!

lilmishap · 05/06/2020 13:55

Nooo I've never even seen the robot one!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 05/06/2020 13:59

No I haven't either @lilmishap. Is it a US one @SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/06/2020 14:36

I'm in the UK, it's called something like 'reading the news' and pays 15 Euros.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 05/06/2020 14:59

Oh I don't have an iPhone that's why I can't do that one then!

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 05/06/2020 15:16

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock - do you need to film your face/eyes for that job? 🤔

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/06/2020 15:45

@AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion I don't think so, they just use your camera to track eye movements.

ruralwanderer · 05/06/2020 16:43

Thanks @finaglingdog, hope you get a good share! :)

BecauseOfIndia · 05/06/2020 17:05

Tinging · 05/06/2020 19:54

Just received my payment for the rest of the Aus transcription corrections on Neevo. I haven't been paid for 20% which didn't meet the standards apparently so that's annoying but from what some of you have said I'm just grateful it's not more!

seizethecuttlefish · 05/06/2020 21:08

@Tinging that's brilliant. 20% isn't great but not bad compared to me lol.

Tinging · 05/06/2020 21:12

@seizethecuttlefish did you query it? They only paid me for 90 and when I queried it they agreed to pay me for another 138 and claimed it was an oversight. I'm so glad I didn't do lots of tasks on this one, I'd be really cross if I'd spent lots of time on it.

seizethecuttlefish · 05/06/2020 21:17

Yep, they paid me for 14 out of 355 so I queried it. It took over a week and various emails and they eventually paid my for some more but no where near what I'd done. I've walked away from them. No way that should happen. I completed it over a few days so any feedback should have been given earlier and I'm pretty sure I stuck to the rules!

Tinging · 05/06/2020 21:44

I can't believe so many people have got such large percentages wrong, I was carefully following the guidance too. It's such a shame as many of their tasks pay fairly well but I'm too wary to do any significant amounts now.

Mrsm010918 · 05/06/2020 21:58

I'll be interested to see if I actually get paid/ what I get paid for the text corrections I've been doing to fill some time in my mornings.

Both CW and Prolific have been pretty productive today. Got myself about £15 across the two
