Hope you’re all well and have had a fantastic month of money making in April. And of course, welcome to anyone just joining us. I’ve finally managed to hopefully put together a more comprehensive list of absolutely everything I can think of to help people maximise their earnings in these uncertain times, some are referral links where me/the user earn some sort of reward, but you are under no obligation at all to use them. As always, referral links are more than welcome

I just want to get this out of the way and say that please, I know times are really tough for so many people, and tensions are high, but please don’t take it out on others on this thread. I really want this to be a place of support, rather than people ripping into each other in frustration. People on here also aren’t being intentionally secretive or evasive about work they are doing, it’s simply a case of not wanting to risk breaching their NDA and losing income.

Thank you for this thread, have tried the stick apps and they're pretty easy, small bits have gone up already this morning which is nice to see.
If anyone wanted another link on it: Do you want to get a free stock share worth up to £ 100?

Create a Trading212Invest account using this link www.trading212.com/invite/Ffp46jP5 and we both get a free share!

Suebnm · 01/05/2020 09:07

@MaxNormal

You cannot WORK for both Lionbridge and Appen but you can APPLY to both and see which one comes up first.

Suebnm · 01/05/2020 09:08

Three hundred tasks on Neevo all 'not meeting quality standards' WTF is going on?

rhij86 · 01/05/2020 09:09

Morning all, here's to another month!

In April I aimed for £1k, and made just over £740 so need to pull my finger out this month, especially as £250 of that was from the lecturing gig I had which has now finished.

Going to aim for another £750 this month, which is roughly £37.50 per working day (I don't tend to do much on the weekends). Fingers crossed I can manage it!

MrsWombat · 01/05/2020 09:54

Appen $552.05 (approximately £439)
Crisp £24
uTest £2.32

Frenchdoors1 · 01/05/2020 09:57

Regarding b*
Is it today after 5pm that we submit the invoice?

rhij86 · 01/05/2020 10:03

@frenchdoors1 I've already submitted mine, but I only did half an hour which has been added to my invoice.

I think I read somewhere that all B* hours would be submitted by the end of 2nd May? So if that's PST, that would be 8am Sunday morning? I could be wrong though

rhij86 · 01/05/2020 10:04

you can submit any time up until the end of the 4th

Frenchdoors1 · 01/05/2020 10:07

Thank you @rhij86
I saw the 4th as well but wasn't too sure.
Thank you for clarifying Smile

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 01/05/2020 10:26

@Madre77 Adriaaaaaaaan! Do-do-do,do-do-do 💥🥊 - love a Rocky reference -good luck!

@MaxNorma I've also only been paid a fraction of Aussie task so fingers crossed it's a batch thing

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 01/05/2020 10:27

@MaxNorma? Sorry @MaxNormal! 😆

Kaylsar · 01/05/2020 10:28

Got my first payment for Neevo
For one of the tasks they paid in full despite it saying on the dashboard that they were rejected due to quality 🤔
The second one was paid in full minus 5 cents
The third one which was the 0.10 one only 4 were paid for. I’m hoping they are just doing it in batches because they take so long with all the corrections

Rad2016 · 01/05/2020 10:52

Thanks for the new thread.. This platform is just amazing. Thanks to you all for keeping me sane

3dogsnorth · 01/05/2020 11:06

Anyone on Truckee Oops and finding ads not loading? This hasn't happened before.

MrsWombat · 01/05/2020 11:17

@3dogsnorth Mine isn't loading....

MrsWombat · 01/05/2020 11:24

Lots of work for the potato people at the moment. (see slack)

MaxNormal · 01/05/2020 11:40

@Suebnm thanks, it's confusing as I've seen some people saying you can get away with both as long as it's not the same back client. Anyway I've passed the Lionbridge Map Quality Analyst exam so happy to stick with them for now while I suss out how it goes.

@AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion I quite like Norma lol. It seems to be the case for everyone, I've joined a forum that specifically discuss online work with dedicated threads for the various companies and they've all had the same thing, so I'm happy to be patient for now.

ohmygiddiest · 01/05/2020 12:32

I have had my first payout from 20 cogs.

It took me about 2 hours to complete all the cogs, so it is quite easy money. I kept a paper diary as well as phone reminders so I did not forget to cancel the subscriptions before they debited my account.

There are a lot gambling offers, which I could not do as I already have accounts with these companies from my matched betting days. However, new offers are added every few days so I just kept checking back.

Here is my link if anyone wants to join, we will both get a bonus if you use it: 20cogs.co.uk/validate/refer_a_friend/welcome/2224456?keyword=referred

supercee · 01/05/2020 12:37

Sorry didn't realise there was a new thread. Posted this on the other one...

I did some work for Appen before but let it slide.

I've just taken the project language quiz and failed! I thought I heard every phrase perfectly so I'm stumped as to why I failed it? Anyone had the same?

KateF · 01/05/2020 12:50

Just want to say thanks for these threads. I have a full time job which I love but isn't well paid and now I'm furloughed money is tight. Thanks to you guys I've had quite a bit of work from Neevo and done well with Prolific. Looking at your totals I think I may try Appen as well.
Thanks again!

3dogsnorth · 01/05/2020 12:51

@MaxNormal can you say what the forum for online work is? Are you finding it helpful?

MaxNormal · 01/05/2020 14:01

@MoreMoneyPlease sure, it's The Money Shed, I've only been signed up a couple of days and not posted anything yet but it looks like it might be quite useful.

Wtfdidwedo · 01/05/2020 14:28

Very pleased with that too MrsWombar I was only hoping to average £300 a month on my various platforms but so thinking I could push for £500. We really want a new bathroom and we'd been looking at budgets suites or taking out more on our loan but this could be the way now..!
