Otterses · 22/04/2020 15:34

Two year long study on grapevine about the impact of coronavirus on households. Not sure of the reward for this one,

Sorry - not sure why the link did that!

Should work Smile

Otterses · 22/04/2020 15:38

@GachaBread

That is fantastic news! I'm so happy you're heading towards a better place Smile it takes amazing strength to do what you've done.

Thanks
TomTomRunner · 22/04/2020 15:46

@GachaBread A silver lining happy post amongst a lot of doom and gloom, onwards and upwards!

TomTomRunner · 22/04/2020 15:50

@Adelais. Similar! the live stuff is a whole new ballgame.

PM me if you need, we could try and find our way through together!

@Adelais have sent you a PM

lynsey91 · 22/04/2020 17:46

Anyone doing the Neevo task where you have to correct the transcriptions?

Almost all of them are wrong in some way or another and some are just hilarious. I don't know if it's because I was an audio secretary for almost 30 years but I can hear what the person is saying but what has been typed is often nothing like it!

TheCanterburyWhales · 22/04/2020 17:56

Flowers Gacha
That's lovely. So pleased for you.

I am still reading the potato stuff and getting more and more bamboozled. I think it's probably easier once you actually get going. Please tell me it is. Grin

justtheonethen · 22/04/2020 17:56

@TheCanterburyWhales it is!

Wheelyyyy · 22/04/2020 18:52

Here you all are😊

dirtyfries · 22/04/2020 19:03

@lynsey91 I've been working on that one today. I'm actually enjoying it compared so some of my previous neevo projects but you're right - I can't even imagine how someone could hear some of those transcripts!

BertieBotts · 22/04/2020 19:07

Gacha, that's brilliant news! Don't worry about the fags. I started smoking again when I left my XP too. It just was a kind of "You can't tell me what to do any more!" I quit again when I was ready and it was no trouble.

I'm up to €180-something for April which has made me really happy :) Didn't think I was doing as well, but I'm pleased with that!

Kaylsar · 22/04/2020 20:32

@lynsey91 did some but some are too long and need too many corrections and at 10p I’m not really bothered.

If anyone has clickworker, there’s a British passport task for €3.50

Catatemyhomework · 22/04/2020 23:24

That's brilliant news @GachaBread, so pleased for you. Well done, you are awesome. It must be such a relief. Don't worry about the cigs. I gave up a while ago but still vape. Everything will work out. Don't try and sort everything at once, you have made the biggest step.
Not earning much at the moment, but hoping for more soon. Right now I'm enjoying the lovely weather and trying to keep the kids entertained and motivated which is hard enough!

girlicorne · 23/04/2020 01:13

Well done @GachaBread, hope you are ok 😀 xx

rhij86 · 23/04/2020 07:53

@Otterses signed up for that one - thank you

@rhij86

Ohhhh! Let me know if you here anything back Smile I imagine the incentive for a two year long study would be pretty decent!

rhij86 · 23/04/2020 08:47

Will do! And yes you would hope so haha

margaritasbythesea · 23/04/2020 09:45

Wel done GachaBread! SmileSmile

That's incredible. I am really impressed by what you've achieved.

If you want any help with the Spanish, let me know. DH is Spanish and I lived there for a couple of years so pretty good. Supposed to be studying for fluency exams in September but don't seem to have the headspace. I am going to try and get down to it today in your honour.

GachaBread · 23/04/2020 10:38

Thanks for all the messages guys!

@margaritasbythesea will keep what you said in mind. I have signed up with Babbel. Would you say that is a good site to use or would you recommend a different one? My free trial ends today with Babel before they take payment tomorrow for subscription so if you know of a better one let me know ASAP lol!

Once confident I will try and find a teacher who can deliver lessons through Skype.
Any links for teachers, schools, sites, books etc would be most appreciated x ❤️
