I'm finding it hard to focus on anything at the moment. Still at work, waiting to hear if we'll be wfh or not and v.stressed about gcse/A levels this summer...😩 I still manage T'ee each day, that's my staple.

rhij86 · 17/03/2020 12:11

@MoreMoneyPlease what do you do in your day job? Hope you get some answer soon.

I'm now wfh indefinitely due to being pregnant. I'm embarrassed to say when BJ announced that yesterday I cried with relief. I asked over a week ago to either be given a parking space or allowed to wfh as I didn't want to get the train every day and was told I was basically no more special than anyone else so to carry on going in. They've had no choice now and told me to stay home. Which I'm happy about but now anxious about being boxed in for months instead! (it seems I ]can't be easily pleased Grin )

@rhij86 that's dreadful about your work! Glad you're at home, safe and sound now. High risk people here (university) have been told to wfh already, the rest of us are prepping to do so and just waiting for the email! Face to face teaching has been suspended and many students have left.

rhij86 · 17/03/2020 12:40

@MoreMoneyPlease yes the Uni I am doing some guest lectures at sent an email last night saying face to face teaching was suspended with immediate effect and all staff were to wfh if at all possible. Hope you get the same communication soon Flowers

Just a quick one for anyone who's ever applied for or is doing the LB Map one... How hard is the assessment and are the hours regular?

Suebnm · 17/03/2020 13:27

@ifuckarses

I have just done and failed the LB map one. I really did revise for many weeks and would have loved to do it. The exam was a lot of work over many hours. But failing it has worked out ok with all my Ap* work now.

Lougle · 17/03/2020 13:38

I've just had an email that my DD2's year group (yr8) isn't allowed at school tomorrow or Thursday as they don't have capacity.

UTest still going well. I've had a few test cases and 4 bugs approved today from previous cycles.

I need to do about 4 qualification tests for Appen, but I'm a bit snowed under with UTest work.

Tinging · 17/03/2020 13:42

@ifuckarses I'm doing maps the exam is quite hard but it's more long than anything. You can do it with the guideline open so just double check everything. I read the guidelines thoroughly once over a few days then did the test in a day. They have always had work whenever I have been on and I have been offered up to 30 hours (normally maximum 20 hours) three times over the past two months.

Catatemyhomework · 17/03/2020 13:48

@Lougle, I've had the same for dd2 year 8. No school until further notice. We're all self isolating anyway. I managed to submit one bug on Utest but couldn't reproduce the other two I found. I should be doing maps exam but haven't yet as was busy with Appen. Not sure whether to do it not or not

Catatemyhomework · 17/03/2020 16:05

I've managed to find two more bugs so that's three submitted today. Hoping they get approved.
There was a task on Neevo which I have failed the qualification test for, although honestly don't know how. It is obvious if something has or has not been transcribed correctly. Well I thought so anyway but clearly not! Hmm

Frenchdoors1 · 17/03/2020 16:36

@Catatemyhomework
Exactly the same with me for Neevo.
I was like.. Hmm

Frenchdoors1 · 17/03/2020 16:37

.... And I'm still like... Hmm

Catatemyhomework · 17/03/2020 16:42

@Frenchdoors1, it's not us it's them. I bet they re-send the link later! Grin

Suebnm · 17/03/2020 17:02

I also failed the neevo test today. Really odd,

toastytea · 17/03/2020 17:04

Hmm I passed it if we're talking about the same one? The transcription audio validation thing? Got 9/10!

toastytea · 17/03/2020 17:05

Saying that, I passed it and now I've had no time to do it so we'll see if any remain after bedtime is complete!

Tinging · 17/03/2020 17:06

I passed the Neevo one with 7/10 which I was a bit surprised at as I failed one yesterday with 8/10 Confused

ifuckarses · 17/03/2020 17:06

Not had one of these for ages...

flameprincess · 17/03/2020 17:32

I keep passing the Neevo tests and then being told 'no tasks available' - am I missing something?

ifuckarses · 17/03/2020 17:33

Thanks for the LB help guys, I've submitted my application and hope they send through the assessment soon as I've got all day Thurs and Fri child free to have a crack at it.

toastytea · 17/03/2020 18:08

@flameprincess they go quickly!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 17/03/2020 18:27

I passed the Neevo exam with 9/10 but there was no work, grr. I only joined yesterday, have passed 3 tests and all work gone!

I've spent all day on Am** which is a lot of fun but doesn't pay the bills!

AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion · 17/03/2020 18:31

Help please re CW!
In my work history it lists loads of UHRS jobs at £0.00 and say "not submitted". Is there something I should be doing that I'm apparently not doing? Confused

Madre77 · 17/03/2020 20:31

@Catatemyhomework thanks for that. I hope the work picks up although it looks like Neevo has woken up this evening.

@rhij86 thank gosh common sense prevailed and you and baby are home safe. I remember avoiding the rush hour when pregnant as there is no humanity when commuters are trying to get that train.
