Thought I would start a new thread seen as the last one is pretty much full! will post over Otterses' links now.

I'm a bit confused about what to do with the geolocation button - it's searching from my home address. I read about it being broken but didn't know what the solution is? Do you just do the search and not worry about it coming from the wrong location? I tried changing & to # but it didn't work.

@Lougle insert word "search" between /? So google.com/search? I think either that or # method works. The location at bottom of page will be same. You will notice it provides localised results when relevant.

There's no work for me on B*, has it finished now?

If videos show up in the 'videos' pane within the search, do you include those, or only if they are individual results? I'm not sure what I'm meant to do

@Flube, I understand that, but often the results load with 'videos....' and there are 3 or 4 thumbnail images with videos in there, then 'people also asked...' with drop downs. Am I meant to see those as results, or only the results list underneath those widgets?

Phew, passed O! I think I'm the only one who doesn't enjoy B so hopefully will have plenty of work on O instead.

I passed O* too, looks fairly easy. Nice to have a bit of variety!

Well I failed the hopper test pretty badly so I hope the work continues on B* part 2! It still feels too easy, I love it!

@AStubbornlyPersistentIllusion I use Shoppix, HuYu (I have a 50 token code for it if you’d like it) and Zipzero. It’s taken me a lot longer to build up to £5 (2 months instead of 1) on HuYu as it only accepts supermarket receipts from the bigger players, not local Spars etc. Zipzero has just brought out a trial for online receipts too.

@anxiouswaiting thanks for the tip about Receipt Hog. I think I had previously read a bad review about it but now I am happily using the others, I’ll try that one too. I can’t find Shoprize in the App Store though.

More generally, thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread. I’ve been lurking for a few months trying to build up my confidence to look into making money online further. Now I can manage receipt apps, maybe I’ll finally be brave enough to join Appen!

Do I put Ap*en in the company working as SEE box when I'm trying to qualify? feeling a bit thick! I've just signed up and I don't know if I'm missing the point but I can't see what else it could be, bit vague I know but I hope that makes sense to someone!

Ok what is this O* test everyone has done. I can't see that project at all?! Wonder why it isn't there for me.

@MintTeaLady I couldn't find Shoprize in the App Store either - later discovered it is for Android only. I've decided against Huya as I don't have Facebook and don't want to link my Google account but thank you for your offer 😊

@toastytea it’s a pivot test from a project some of us did before Xmas, the quiz invite was on email. Did you do c**d last year?
