Thought I would start a new thread seen as the last one is pretty much full! will post over Otterses' links now.

OP posts:

We are doing ok thank you @Catatemyhomework Smile we are currently back in hospital as the little lad is jaundice. He's having light therapy currently and his bilirubin levels are coming down so we are going in the right direction. Just a case of giving him enough time I think.

Probably got more sleep last night as we stayed over in hospital and didn't have DD to sort too. Hopefully home today, awaiting more blood tests

Catatemyhomework · 15/03/2020 13:00

Aww @TheLolaMontez, poor little thing. It's hard when they're so tiny isn't it? We had the same with dd2, she had to go into hospital for a few days with the same thing. I know what you mean, as I slept really well in hospital too as had nothing else to do! Grin

Catatemyhomework · 15/03/2020 13:02

@girlicorne, we probably will get part 3 next week. Hope it starts tomorrow as I don't think I had any work until Wednesday this week.

TheLolaMontez · 15/03/2020 13:02

We had it with DD too, apparently it can run in families! I've nothing much to do either, just pumping breast milk and napping Smile

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 15/03/2020 14:06

Does anyone else imagine the people who are making the searches or am I just weird?

Actually, I know i'm weird but it makes the work more interesting. I thought the person who searched for ' jobs where you don't have to deal with people' were a kindred spirit and I wanted to direct them to this thread lol!

Catatemyhomework · 15/03/2020 14:12

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Grin. I had a search along the lines of "how do I know if I've cummmed yet" Hmm. Didn't want to think too much about that one I must say! Grin

Lougle · 15/03/2020 14:30

i found out way more than I wanted to know with a couple of my searches Envy

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 15/03/2020 14:46

Yuk! I didn't want to think too much about 'murder' though. Shock

DarkPassenger · 15/03/2020 16:00

I see we're all gathering back to kick away the tumbleweed Grin

I managed 21 hours on B* since last Wed afternoon. 7 hours yesterday! Got on for 1.5hr this morning before having to go out on a job. Got home and the two ergonomic mice I ordered from Amazon yesterday were waiting for me and I was all on for another long stint when I saw it had shut down. I couldn't help the slight feeling of relief that came over me haha. I still hope it's back soon though.

Thought I was doing well until I saw girlicorne's post. Now I do feel like a part timer!

I've got a couple of uTest TCs to do anyway so I'll get stuck into those a little later.

I hope everyone is well and sorry to see BabyMontez is a little poorly @TheLolaMontez. Hope he's right as rain very soon Flowers

TheLolaMontez · 15/03/2020 16:04

Thank you @DarkPassenger he doesn't seem overly concerned by his yellow-ness. He's had loads of blood tests these past couple of days and he's been so brave 💙 such a little trooper.

DarkPassenger · 15/03/2020 16:05

Oh and I meant to say.. I saw on Ap chat that if you come across anything unsavoury (I did a couple of times Envy

DarkPassenger · 15/03/2020 16:10

Oh goodness, bless his little toesies! He looks well asleep and happy there, get yourself a blue light to recreate it when you get home Grin

tootyfruitypickle · 15/03/2020 17:04

Also noresults.com and noresults1.com for those annoying searches (usually the last one in a set!) where you get no results !

I’m also feeling a bit relieved, needed a rest but couldn’t allow myself to stop!

Gatekeeper · 15/03/2020 17:28

Well after two weeks + I am still unbale to get onto NL. I am doing from my PC and the rating link doesn't work- it just opens my normal facebook page. i have submitted two tickets but their reply is woolly and doesn't address my issue Angry

tinyradish · 15/03/2020 19:31

Oh I haven't had any time for b*ne today & was hoping to get an hour or 2 tonight in...gathering from this thread that there's no work!

That's good to know @DarkPassenger I did wonder why there was no option to report anything inappropriate. I did have the need for that once....Blush

tinyradish · 15/03/2020 19:32

Bless him @TheLolaMontez he looks peaceful as anything Smile

flameprincess · 15/03/2020 19:54

Does anyone on here do matched betting? I am thinking of dipping my toe in. Although thanks to 20cogs I'm not a new customer for Coral and Betfred (which you have to use to join profitaccumulator by the looks of it).

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/03/2020 22:14

@flameprincess I do matched betting, made about £400 since January and then £200 last week at Cheltenham. It's probably not a good time to start as most of the football etc is called off due to Coronavirus. Team Profit are suggesting matched betters try Team Casino to keep them going. I signed up to OddsMonkey for the £1 ten day trial last week but didn't really get on with it. I'll try Profit Accumulator once the football picks up again (and I'm signed up to loads of bookies but it's the reload offers that you keep making money on)

Catatemyhomework · 15/03/2020 22:31

@flameprincess, I have tried matched betting. Made about £300 since start of January, but haven't done it at all for a month as been busy with other stuff. I've done a lot of the welcome offers now and Cheltenham passed me by as I was busy with Appen and UTest. It's something I feel I can pick up as and when if other work goes quiet.

flameprincess · 15/03/2020 23:37

Thanks guys, seems you've had some success with it although I didn't think of all the cancelled matches so yes probably best not to pick this up now! Blush

Lougle · 16/03/2020 00:02

Can I just have a cry on your shoulders? I have just had a nightmare with UTest. I started doing a case, then realised after I'd done nearly all some of it, that I was using the wrong version - my phone hadn't updated an app.

Then, I managed to sort that but it was getting late so I thought I'd use my laptop downstairs. That went badly wrong, because it obviously couldn't cope with video editing plus picture editing, etc., so Chrome crashed.

So, I thought I'd use the PC, got up here and several points of the case hadn't synced so I was in a real panic. Then, finally, I couldn't get my PC to recognise the laptop, so couldn't move the files across from one to the other.

Finally, I went back into UTest on the laptop, only to see that the changes I'd just made with the PC had synced with the laptop session I had open, bizarrely, so I could just finish off on the laptop.

I'm feeling quite jittery now, not helped by my inappropriate tachycardia, and I have a migraine starting. Heart rate currently 107bpm. So I'm going to bed!

By the way....I highly recommend UTest... Wink

ruralwanderer · 16/03/2020 06:35

Sending you hugs @Lougle, that sounds stressful! How many devices have you got? Does that make a difference to the number of projects you're accepted for?

DarkPassenger · 16/03/2020 06:53

Oh no Lougle! Too much stress but it sounds like you pulled it out of the bag. Well done. I hope you've had a good sleep and managed to cut off the migraine.

@ruralwanderer - yes, the more devices you have the more projects you can apply for. I have an iPhone5 so pretty useless but I hope to get a 7 or 8 in a few weeks. Then I'll look for a cheap up to date Android phone, then I plan on getting a tablet. Projects seem to be tailored to one device or another and I've only seen a few that need multiple device for the same project. I'm sure Lougle can expand as she has been on there a lot longer than I have but this is my understanding from browsing through the projects board.

ruralwanderer · 16/03/2020 06:58

Thanks @DarkPassenger. I might have to get the old laptop updated and working again as well as my trusty Chromebook then...I've got a reasonably decent Android smartphone and I could probably commandeer my hubby's iPhone5 on an evening too...

DarkPassenger · 16/03/2020 07:07

Don't bother with the iPhone5, it might as well be a rock Grin. Try and get at least a 7 on the iOS side, and a fairly up to date Android. As far as I can see mobile app design is always planning ahead for future software rather than thinking about the oldies left behind. There are some PC projects for older systems but I haven't seen anything yet for older mobiles. Mine is 10.3.4 and everything I've seen requires higher releases.

Although I guess it depends if somehow you have managed to upgrade OS within an old phone? I believe this can be done, maybe at one of those mobile shops that seem to be everywhere in other places, but I live rurally and there's nothing like that here.
