Hi everyone, hope you are all coping well enough in our current climate Confused I have just signed up for MTurk but think I may have made a mistake - am I right in saying they only pay in gift cards unless you are a U.S. citizen?

Deleted my all account with appen as I was waiting over 7 months. Created a new one last week and just got accepted on the B** project. I can already see mixed feelings about it. Any tips will be much appreciated

B*ne is great.

B*er takes some getting used to. I think it's the timer more than anything, but the times been upped for now so not quite as bad. Just boring and a bit of a pita writing comments.

As far as I can see it is only the social chat that has been disabled for B**e. The social chat button is under the top left Appen logo, on the blue taskbar after Academy. The 'work' chat button is right at the top of the page towards the right corner next to FAQ and Policy.

I remember that first stressful day of being getting the B**e link and trying to work out what was going on. Posters here were talking about Qs being asked in Chat but nothing matched the posts I was reading. Turned out I was in Social not 'work' chat.

Hope that clarifies things a bit.

With so much going on the last week I haven't really done any work at all. Looks like my main uT project is on hold and I've only qual'd for B**e on Ap so no work coming through there. Haven't had the energy or inclination to check UHRS or Neevo but will give myself a shake later today or tomorrow.

Fingers crossed B**e comes back very soon.

Oh and I still don't have anything in the invoice section of Ap. I did 19.5 hrs 11/3 to 14/3, and then 10.5 hrs 15/3 to 20/3. I think the first batch should have given me an invoice to view last Friday, and the second batch invoice should have appeared today. I'm a little worried but trying not to think about it to much.

@Rad2016 - Congrats on getting into Ap, that was good thinking on your part to reset your application so to speak.

A few people in B**e chat have stated not to worry, invoicing always comes good by the end of the month and payments are made on the last working day of the month, so I think if we wait it out for these last few days hopefully payments will come next Wednesday even if the invoices don't appear.

@DarkPassenger appen will always sort out the invoices and pay on time. I wouldn't be at all worried. They pay on the 14th though, not the end of the month.

Oh God, thanks for the heads up @justtheonethen, I must have misunderstood something along the way as I thought payments came through in the first couple of days of the next month. You've saved me a mad panic next week.

Thankfully yesterday one of my lovely clients paid me until the end of the month despite her going into SI the second week of March so I have an extra £120 in the bank than I'd originally counted on so I should be okay to cover most of my bills for April. Have taken my car off the road so that's knocked £100 off in tax, ins., and fuel.

Yay! Just got a uT email, next stage of my project is open Grin

@justtheonethen a few of us were left waiting over a month for Decembers pay I got mine on Feb 4th. I don't share the enthusiasm for them right now, especially with the chat being closed and none of my tickets having been replied to.
