Cloud workers/chat from home

Essentially paid to flirt/sexy chat, I can't claim to be too knowledgable about these two!

Fivver/upwork/guru

Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

@tootyfruitypickle they are very shouty!

tootyfruitypickle · 12/03/2020 06:42

Yes it's a bit clearer what's required for this one. Bit more faffy though.

DarkPassenger · 12/03/2020 06:47

OK.. First group attempted, read the GLs carefully, understood the aim, worked through making sure to check each and every one, had 8 mins to go, then the last batch of the page only gave results from thousands of miles away. No relevance to the querants locale at all.

I gave up. Sad

Hopefully there will be more appropriate ones but I'm not risking more disappointment for this morning. Considering the geoloc issues I'm guessing there's a high chance each set of tasks will have one that we just can't fulfil due to irrelevant results.

I've got a 3 hour physical job this morning, might get a chance to have another go at one batch, then I'm out for another 2 hour job. If I've got the energy when I get home this afternoon then hopefully there will be something left, even if it's just for me to get the practice in.

DarkPassenger · 12/03/2020 07:00

What a difference a day makes..

This time yesterday- aargh, feck! Hate it! chaos, confusion etc.

Today - 'Come back P2, we miss you' grin]

tootyfruitypickle · 12/03/2020 07:14

This one feels a bit less likely to give me rsi though....

Catatemyhomework · 12/03/2020 07:23

Just finished my first batch with one minute remaining. I need to get quicker at this.

toastytea · 12/03/2020 07:25

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock that's what I thought! Part 2 will be back. Also agree that some will be impossible to do cos the results will be irrelevant to user location.

I didn't do anymore last night, hoping my littles will let me do some today! We've been struggling at bedtime and then waking up late so routine all to pot.

toastytea · 12/03/2020 07:26

Might be worth checking chat and seeing if there's any instructions for ones that are completely irrelevant!

DarkPassenger · 12/03/2020 07:32

I've asked the question toastietea but had no definitive answer and I'm off out now. If anyone else gets the same issue have a look at chat and see if anyone official has answered. I think the 'red name' person got on there about 8am UK time yesterday and started answering queries.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 12/03/2020 07:34

Why are there 10 urls? There should only be 5!

V. confused!

0htooooodles · 12/03/2020 07:34

Just had a adult site! Thought we filtered them all out?

MrsPretzels · 12/03/2020 07:35

Clearly geolocation hasn't been working for anyone because I'm getting majority American links for UK queries. Just trying to pick the best out of a bad bunch..

I gathered from the email that p2 isn't finished so hopefully this means they're working on fixing the issue and we'll have lots of work available again soon

tootyfruitypickle · 12/03/2020 07:41

I've done an hour (5 sets) now have to do some other stuff, lots was abandoned in the chaos of part 2 yesterday! Will return a bit later, if it's still going. Quite like part 3 now I've got over the shock of it not being part 2! Which guarantees when I return we'll be back to part 2!

Catatemyhomework · 12/03/2020 07:59

Some people must have been even more rubbish at part 2 than me based on some of the results I'm getting!

Catatemyhomework · 12/03/2020 08:04

Think I prefer part 2 and those are words I never thought I'd say. Why is the second set of 5 basically a repeat of the first set of 5? It just takes twice as long to sift through incase there are any hidden gems.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 12/03/2020 08:20

How can you be rubbish at part 2? Surely it was just copy and paste?

Or maybe it was me that was rubbish at it!

ifuckarses · 12/03/2020 08:21

For part 3 do you really have to click on all of the links? Will they know? It's fairly obvious from the URLs provided I think. It's taking me ages to get all 10 loaded up.

Catatemyhomework · 12/03/2020 08:31

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock, I seem to have a lot of duplicates in mine.

toastytea · 12/03/2020 08:34

@ifuckarses some of the links don't work when I try them!!

I'm finding it does actually take 20 mins and by the time I get to the last one I'm rushing!

anxiouswaiting · 12/03/2020 08:42

My computer isn't fast enough for stage 3, all the pages took 6 minutes to load for the first one so no way I can do it in 20 min.

I'll have to try later on the laptop (with the hope that by the time I try stage 2 will be back and I can forget stage 3 Grin )

toastytea · 12/03/2020 08:42

@tootyfruitypickle you did 5 sets in an hour? I just managed 3.

ifuckarses · 12/03/2020 09:04

Hate this. Absolutely hate it. Timed out once and accidentally closed the tab being click happy twice Angry would be much better if it was just 5 to choose from, and make more sense as 5 were chosen in part 2.

0htooooodles · 12/03/2020 09:08

I haven't been opening all the links if they're really obvious!

justtheonethen · 12/03/2020 09:11

Anyone checked out their invoices. They are hilariously wrong, I wish I had done 59 hours on b@n£ Grin

justtheonethen · 12/03/2020 09:12

@0htooooodles same.
