Thank you all . I've come to my Mum and Dad's house so I can answer a couple of queries and finish a test case, so the pressure is off. I've declined a new cycle and I'll take a break today. I can't even watch Netflix (first world problem).

We've all been there. On one project I was given a substandard rating, I'm now above meets expectations. But I don't expect that to last either!

And I have more or less given up on Matched betting for a bit as now the easy stuff is over, I really don't understand what is going

So frustrated! I was up at bloody 4:10 with the baby who decided we were starting the day at the crack of dawn, so thought it'd be great, get a bit of B* done as it was just released....apparently not as the laptop isnt working again.

I keep getting emails from Team Profit about how I'm going to make my fortune at Cheltenham next week...no actual information about HOW I'm going to do this! Especially when I have so far only put bets on football matches to win/lose.

I'm attempting my onboarding test for Test.io. Been on the John Lewis site for 30 mins and haven't found a single bug. Gave up and googled it, thinking someone would surely have put them on Reddit but no luck. Anyone done this one??

@MoreMoneyPlease I did exactly the same as you lol! I've submitted one for the toy one below it but I think its content rather than functional but i'm above 50% even if this gets rejected so did it anyway!

Yay, I qualified for Test io :-) 3rd bug was rejected as i thought but I still got over 50% so am happy :-)

@ZetaPuppis I've been working on Rev for a couple of months doing captioning. The pay is a bit higher per minute for captioning than transcription but you do have to sync the subtitles to the videos so it does take a bit longer. From what I've read online the quality of audio for captioning is better than for transcribing and obviously having the video to watch helps with context.
I'm not a super speedy typist, it takes me a while so pay per hour isn't great, I just do the odd fairly short job here and there when I fancy a change or there's no other work around. They do pay weekly and pay rates have gone up this week.

Well done @Spock have I misread? I thought we had to get at least 3 bugs approved. Is it only 2 out of 3? I've had one approved, 1 rejected.

You have to submit at least 3 bugs and get 50% approved, so 2 out of 3.

I have access now but setup is complicated for the first test, need to wait for Software Engineer hubby to come home!

@otterses I forgot to say I deleted chip after looking at the reviews. Took 4 days to get my money back and lots of messages.

I've been asked to take the Lionbridge exam for map analysts project. Not sure I can be bothered with it now as I've heard it's hard. Also, I've finally got on to an Appen project, although no work on it right now. Not sure what to do now.

@Catatemyhomework I'm doing maps analyst now, it's huge amount of reading beforehand, 250 pages plus numerous extra bits of guidance, a webinar, then a full day to do the exam. I've been doing it for a month and been asked to do more tasks with 150 pages more guidance for at least one of those. You don't get paid for doing the training or tests.
They do bump your pay up in the first couple of months to account for you being slower but without it I don't think I will be quick enough to earn a decent hourly rate.
On the plus side the website is really good and all the guidance is very well produced.

I am surprised to see you had trouble with Chip, and very relieved I've not had any trouble. I made a couple of withdrawals now and they showed in my bank account within an hour. Hope it was just a one off problem for you.

@Tinging, thanks for the information. I am in two minds now. I had nothing work wise when I originally applied for it, but I have heard it's tough and a lot of work. Also, when I applied I didn't have an Appen project and now that I do I'd have to tell them and then they wouldn't want me anyway. I'll have a think and re-assess tomorrow. Thanks for the guidance.
