Bot-watching into 2020. Hoping it's a good year for all (and the end of MLMs - Hey, a girl can dream!)

Homeschool is suddenly posting a lot more on her business page. No cheque for several years but also no sign of admitting defeat.

Whiterangey · 26/01/2020 10:23

She has three, two secondary age and a toddler. Not bothered about younger children at private school, they will adapt easier at a different school, but I hope all the secondary school age bot kids are able to continue their education in the same schools. Not fair on the kids at that age to have to go to a different school and a different type of school.

Spongebobette · 26/01/2020 16:28

Hemeschool is another one who endlessly shares photos of her small child
Yuk yuk yuk

She’s posted a 2016 photo of a team training which just shows how big it all was then (and isn’t now!)

Ladiva1971 · 26/01/2020 16:45

Has Castle deleted her facebook, or made it private?

hunzuncovered · 26/01/2020 17:04

Nope it's still a public Facebook.

Bluewavescrashing · 26/01/2020 19:07

Castle is quite an avid blocker. She's blocked me 😁

Ladiva1971 · 26/01/2020 19:57

I can see it again now, weird as I couldn't see her Bruvs tags either.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 26/01/2020 19:59

The lady doth protest too much, methinks

Yes Yawn, I'm talking about you.

Quick to point out how it's all new training, not re-hashed, desperate to point out that she's successful and that she's helping her team and cares for them Hmm

Maydayredalert · 26/01/2020 20:19

So caring Hmm while they are making money for her, that is.

Jigsawpuzzle · 26/01/2020 23:00

I don’t think they are making any money as the bots who have commented have very little engagement on fb to the bizniz posts.
I have noticed that even the main bots sometimes have several days gap between posts. Are they getting weary of the hamster wheel?

Whiterangey · 27/01/2020 01:43

It's getting tougher and tougher out there. It's the new recruits that are the key to making money and the bastard anti-mlm movement have reduced the flood to a trickle.

When was the last time Yawn celebrated a new manager or even a new supervisor? All she can really do now is try and get her team to buy as much product for themselves as she can and entice the rare newbie to sign up.

It's not much better with those higher up either. Uber making a level 3 at the last minute. I can remember when the bots would come back from the global rally to announce they had already qualified for the next one, sometimes before they had even gone. Now they are struggling to qualify by the end of the year and the cc levels they qualify at are greatly reduced.

This has happened in only 3 years, not a great amount of time. Not to mention the cheques, went from dozens to I think only 12 UK ones last year and most were yoga mats. The mighty haven't just fallen, they went to the edge of space and fell all the way down. Given they spent all they earned it makes for some seriously tough times, more to come as well.

'growing a strong and fast business'

what is a fast business???

Spongebobette · 27/01/2020 09:28

BTW kind of weird that Yawn posted a pic on Insta of Mr Yawn washing her car yesterday - a white Audi - which she had in 2018 but has changed for a Range R since??

AntiBotics · 27/01/2020 09:58

The White Rangey replaced the dog estate car

mlmingaheartbeat · 27/01/2020 10:10

" It's beginning to look a lot like ......."
The fact that Uber is at 5K missing out on the 7.5K, which has been the minimum required to be GLT or I think on the UK leadership team, speaks volumes.
The MLM world is currently in freefall with some of the top ones all saying there is little to no growth in profits.
The use of Social Media which once helped many of them to achieve fast wealth and fame - is also unwittingly the reason for the industry's decline as more people wise up and see that it was all too good to be true!
Yes you will always get those that would profit and do well from the system - like bloodsucker and Uber, even Yawn to an extend - but short sighted people never think of the future - the future which is bright and not yellow!

fromdownwest · 27/01/2020 10:21

It certainly does appear that the free fall from the giddy heights has reached terminal velocity.

The mocking of MLM's is widespread, enjoyed an episode of 'Always sunny in Philidephia' doing just that.

People are aware that these are scammy, and as you say social media has made a mockery of them.

The glam top brass of FL has retreated, the occasional public display in baggy jumpers, not the glam lifestyle that they used to portray. The stress of it all must be overwhelming.

The directors loan repayments are looming, which would put so much further pressure onto them. I think when they see the numbers on the cheques this year, then they will realise that it is all over.

Could not happen to a nicer bunch of people.

SnoogyWoo · 27/01/2020 10:28

It’s like watching our very own soap opera unfold!

Jigsawpuzzle · 27/01/2020 10:43

My JP bot seems to be struggling with things as all you get is gym/making shakes/quotes etc. Taking a leaf out of FL she has just posted photos/videos of old events.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 27/01/2020 13:06

Uber is on the GLT. She posted the annual trip a couple of months back, and she's on the website as a 7.K qualifier.

SSDGM · 27/01/2020 13:10

There was a woman recruiting for Avon on my local high street. They are getting desperate.

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 27/01/2020 13:25

Avon had a stall in our local Tesco last year. I complained and was told that they wouldn't be doing it again. I had a feeling that I wasn't the only person the Tesco manager heard from!

Whiterangey · 27/01/2020 14:26

Uber was on the GLT last year, hence the trip a couple of months back. She's not on the new one, the website just hasn't been updated yet. The new GLT is on the end of a video released by FLP, Uber isn't on there.

9dartfinish2nd · 27/01/2020 16:58

I fully echo what was said above, the key to destroying the MLM industry is preventing new recruits joining.
Herbalife for example, they lose 2 million distributors every year worldwide and that churn has to be replaced or the house of cards comes crashing down.
The Anti-MLM movement is now a global force that is preventing people from potentially ruining thier lives and impacting those of loved ones around them.
Bots can sit all day blocking people who react and comment on Anti-MLM pages on Facebook... it won't change a thing....it's all over and the consequences for some will be catastrophic.
