A big thank you to to @reddA for compiling the list below :) and thanks to @Otterses for all the hard work, keeping these threads going.

There aren't rules, as long as you've made some extra cash. So from eBay to remote jobs to saving money by switching your house insurance provider - it all counts.

My email says you'll be paid if you have over 3000 passed. I'm a bit worried, I couldn't be bothered with that last lot! Might be as I was later signing up.

Mine doesn't say that at all! I'm sure it will be fine Smile

Wolfff · 27/09/2019 07:23

@seizethecuttlefish

I finished mine last week and they have checked just over half, about 1800. None rejected but skipped a few I couldn't pronounce. About 20 in total.

seizethecuttlefish · 27/09/2019 07:35

Thanks. Fingers crossed.

Cloudworkers question - they've said they expect 12 hours a week from me. Is this standard or will you still get paid for what you've done if you don't manage 12hours?

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 08:20

I've finally seem to be registered with Appen and my first task is the Noyo one but I can't see how much I get paid for this! Can anyone remember??

seizethecuttlefish · 27/09/2019 08:34

@rhij86 it's the standard contract but as long as you earn over 50 dollars they'll pay you. You'll get loads of emails about people not working shifts and being banned but as far as I know, it never happens.

Wolfff · 27/09/2019 08:35

@Moremoneyplease
It’s $5

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 08:47

Thanks @Wolfff 😊

rhij86 · 27/09/2019 08:57

@seizethecuttlefish fab, thank you :)

seizethecuttlefish · 27/09/2019 09:07

@Moremoneyplease just an aside. Appen would only let me register to be paid by Payoneer. I have 42 dollars in it and they don't pay out till you have 50. They also take a 3 dollar fee off each invoice Angry

justtheonethen · 27/09/2019 09:23

@seizethecuttlefish if it's linked to PayPal they send it regardless of limit. I got mine and I didn't pay the massive fee.

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 09:24

@seizethecuttlefish Yeah, I've just signed up for payment and Payoneer was the only method which is annoying. It let me link it to my PayPal account so why not just let me sign up with PayPal!

3dogsnorth · 27/09/2019 09:55

For anyone on the isoftstone speech thing. Who are all these people? I thought I had quite good general knowledge but have heard of a handful of them 😀

Wolfff · 27/09/2019 09:58

No idea! I thought they were US given the diverse names. Sure I pronounced many wrong.

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 09:59

Thanks @justtheonethen, I'll wait and see!

justtheonethen · 27/09/2019 10:22

@3dogsnorth no idea Grin

TheLolaMontez · 27/09/2019 10:24

How did you link it to PayPal @justtheonethen ? I can't seem to do it 😩

justtheonethen · 27/09/2019 11:08

I can't remember @TheLolaMontez sorry 🙈

Wolfff · 27/09/2019 12:27

I think the Paypal thing might have been for people who registered earlier. I registered in July I think and the only option was Payoneer.

TheLolaMontez · 27/09/2019 13:25

Ah thanks @Wolfff - I don't recall it being an option, I'm sure if it was I would have picked it .
Feeling very blah and unmotivated today Confused all I can think about is having a nap Grin

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 14:22

Can I ask those of you who are working on the bigger 'jobs' such as Appen, Clickworker etc, how you kept motivated whilst waiting for jobs to come in? I've signed up for most things on the thread but haven't been offered any regular 'work' yet. I've made about £70 so far which is better than nothing but it would be great to have a bit more (this includes the 75p I made from returning some mouldy cottage cheese to Aldi because I wouldn't usually have bothered returning it!!)

To answer a question from yesterday: Once I make £200, I plan use it to start match-betting...assuming I understand it by then!

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 14:25

@TheLolaMontez I also need motivation today!

rhij86 · 27/09/2019 14:30

@moremoneyplease I would highly recommend oddsmonkey - they have walkthroughs, videos and guides to help you understand it. They were super valuable for me!

I'm also getting a bit frustrated waiting for stuff! I got accepted onto a 'big' project on appen at the beginning of the week but have heard nothing further since then, despite contacting their support team twice.

I've made about £50 in two weeks (if you count vouchers which have accumulated but I haven't cashed out yet) which is great but feels slow!

Moremoneyplease · 27/09/2019 15:28

@rhij86 I've signed up to OddsMonkey and Team Profit. Hopefully, once I've watched the videos a few more times, it will all sink in. I just need to get over the fear of placing that first bet!
