A big thank you to to @reddA for compiling the list below :) and thanks to @Otterses for all the hard work, keeping these threads going.

I passed the crisp test with 20/20. Going to apply to appen tomorrow. Hopefully work starts coming my way soon

Namechangerextraordinaire1 · 02/09/2019 22:49

Going to join too if you don't mind. I've just started matched betting in the last week and do have one question if anyone can help please? When i place a lay bet, does it take the lay bet amount AND the liability out until the bet is settled? I think it must do, but can't actually figure it out for sure?!

Other than that, ive just signed up for mobile xpression and will look into crisp too. Looks good. Not really sure where else to go!

Back to school and unexpected vet bills have got me almost broke before the month has even begun, so hoping to get a bit of a better situation next month!

Grabbygabber · 02/09/2019 23:05

I also downloaded click worker last night, it only giving option to record a video of myself and one survey. I did the survey can't do anything other than record myaf which I won't do. Am I missing a trick with this?

Boobahs · 02/09/2019 23:48

Finally passed the Crisp test on the 8th try!

@Grabbygabber It's the same for me, I've been checking it for a fortnight now and that's all I've been offered Hmm

Grabbygabber · 02/09/2019 23:52

@Boobahs thats a bit disappointing if its been 2 weeks and your only getting the same video option. Well done one passing the crisp test tho

Boobahs · 03/09/2019 00:00

@Grabbygabber Thanks! I've signed up for Prolific too, but not getting much on there either... a few are not compatible with the app but balancing a laptop on your lap with 3 month old isn't ideal so I'm missing out on them Confused

Namechangerextraordinaire1 · 03/09/2019 08:37

I've passed the click test too, first time amazingly! Not sure how comfortable I feel on cloudworkers...adult chat moderation right? So you have to join in with sending messages? In a group chat or one to one?

NWQM · 03/09/2019 08:44

Just to say hello and good luck everyone! Started to read the threads in August and did a bit of signing up but a little hopeless during school hols. Hoping to get somewhere this month.

QuarterMileAtATime · 03/09/2019 11:59

Hi everyone! Just popping on to say hi after lurking for a while. I’m on maternity leave and aim to start building up some work at home to cover my unpaid months and (hopefully) not return to my permanent role next year. I worked flexibly as a freelancer (editorial) for several years but I have been in-house for four years so need to build it back up! I will also share what I find elsewhere Smile

Grabbygabber · 03/09/2019 12:24

What are people using for surveys and market research? I downloaded qmee a few months ago and spent hours over the course of weeks and have earned 0.18p so gave up. I went back to it this morning spent about 20mins on a survey that would have paid around 20p the progress bar was almost at the end and it kicked me off. Reminded me why I gave up on it

TheLolaMontez · 03/09/2019 12:38

Hello all Smile
September already Shock

So for this month I have decided to move away from cloudworkers as I am finding it all rather soul destroying for not enough pay. If they come through on their threats to cull the "poor agents" then I suspect I will have my contract terminated, however it's all a bit "boy who cried wolf" at the moment - but that's a different topic all together!

So, my focus for this month:

Prolific - they were pretty good for me last month
Appen Global (I am new to) and Connect - not new to but will apply for all projects I can. I am working Crescent currently and finding it fairly easy so all good on that front.

Question for appen folk - does any one know how to change payment preferences? I am signed up with payoneer but I would like to change to paypal because their fees are astronomical! I was in the same boat as Seizethecuttlefish, did a $5 task and only got paid $2 Sad would like to alter this before I receive any more payments from them ideally.

QuarterMileAtATime · 03/09/2019 13:25

I tried Lifepoints when on maternity before DD arrived and found it pretty good @Grabbygabber

margaritasbythesea · 03/09/2019 14:18

I like Lifepoints too.

Thank you for the thread Siezethecuttlefish, redA and Otterses.

FloofenHoofen · 03/09/2019 14:20

Yay for September I can't believe we're all still going Smile

Wolfff · 03/09/2019 15:36

Has anyone done an 'in-home' survey with Angelfish? Signed up for one but not sure what to expect.

anxiouswaiting · 03/09/2019 15:45

I've just signed up to this. They pay you to test snack bars. If anyone is interested in my referral link -

SNISR · 03/09/2019 16:07

Does anyone work for arise? Any thoughts?

SNISR · 03/09/2019 16:25

Whilst having a google search I came across this website. It looks like an adult chat work, but you don't have to apply for adult texting, you can apply for the customer service role too.

SNISR · 03/09/2019 17:52

Had a look into the post I uploaded and the reviews are really bad, so please ignore that.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 03/09/2019 18:04

Yes, finally got 19 on Crisp!! I think I was overthinking it and ticking too many categories. Hope it leads to something.

Otterses · 03/09/2019 18:22

@Grabbygabber sorry I'm a bit slow! The day job is a bit manic at the moment

£200-300 is an absolute doddle once you get into it. I'd apply to Crisp, Appen, Modsquad, Lionbridge, Isoftstone, and consider matched betting while you're waiting. If you need start up capital, oh my dosh have some 'lightening' cash back deals which will give too about £25 to get started with in a few days. There's also 212 trading and football index mentioned on the old threads. I'll did put walkthroughs for those, but it's about £70 profit for doing nothing much

@seizethecuttlefish I was the same, Appen came along at just the right time for me! If you're getting nowhere, would you consider Lionbridge?

@anxiouswaiting A word from the NOT so wise ... please be kind to yourself when you do get back. It's really hard getting into the swing of parenting, working and money-making!

DO IT! It's really empowering. Open up a separate bank account, and put £25 in there. Then get started with the offers. Profit accumulator is fantastically simple and will walk you through each and every offer.

Welcome @Doseydots

@SorryDidISayThatOutLoud Can I just check (before you give up) that you're trying to use the Survey Tool and not the Ads Rating Tool?

@tinkywinkyshandbag It sounds like you need a quick win to me I'm cobbling together a guide to make £100 this evening, so maybe that'll spur you on a bit?

LB are fine. They're solid employers. They only use your social media to provide you with access to the 'tools' to do the job. Nothing is ever posted, etc.

Would you consider chat 'psychic' roles?

@reddA I hope everything is going a bit better for you now, but I'm sorry to hear about the insomnia Sad are you still planning on moving out?

BlackCatFan · 03/09/2019 18:23

@anxiouswaiting how much do they pay for the snack bar testing? Sounds a bit too good to be true... free food + money! 💰

Otterses · 03/09/2019 18:26

Can I just reiterate, please can no one feel pressured into cloud workers. I fully intended when posting it as a suggestion it may be a bit of a laugh, but it seems to be really negatively impacting people mentally, which is the last thing I want for any of you.

@TheLolaMontez I hope you're okay Thanks

seizethecuttlefish · 03/09/2019 18:34

Thanks @Otterses I'm going to look at LionBridge. I'm not seeing anything on Appen. Still the same three in process. I have a demo class on Saturday for an online English training role and I'm just counting the days to get by that Confused

Doseydots · 03/09/2019 18:46

I have just followed the link for the snack bar tasting. I just need to purchase the bars now. There are different prices for different bars.

I have put my first ever bet on tonight on a football match ! I followed the match betting tips I have read in these threads. I think I’ve done it correctly, I hope so as this will be my £10 earned today!
