A big thank you to to @reddA for compiling the list below :) and thanks to @Otterses for all the hard work, keeping these threads going.

There aren't rules, as long as you've made some extra cash. So from eBay to remote jobs to saving money by switching your house insurance provider - it all counts.

@bkaz I don't have a photo on mine.

@Wolfff sorry to hear that, it's such a hard time and money is the last thing you all need to be worrying about Sad

rhij86 · 20/09/2019 07:38

I'm in on appen! Got quite a few projects listed for me to apply to. Any that you all recommend or are ones to avoid?

seizethecuttlefish · 20/09/2019 07:47

@rhij86 I would just apply for everything you could qualify for. There are no guarantees you get anything so get as much lined up as possible.

Otterses · 20/09/2019 07:52

@rhij86

Apply for anything and everything! You can be on the waiting list for months, so it's worth putting your eggs in as many baskets as possible.

@Wolfff Sad I completely get where you're coming from, it's a horrific disease.

Relieved it's Friday! I'm hoping for 4-6 hours on Crisp tonight to make up for my slacking this week.

rhij86 · 20/09/2019 08:21

@seizethecuttlefish, @Otterses - thank you, I'm going for it! Applying for all the ones I can do and hope something qualifies.
Hope everyone has a good Friday! Just hoping the day in work passes quickly, can't believe I've been back from mat leave 3 weeks already.

Otterses · 20/09/2019 08:36

@rhij86

Smile how're you finding being back? I think you're doing fantastically to be honest, I couldn't have even contemplated money making when I went back.

rhij86 · 20/09/2019 08:51

@Otterses I'm doing ok thanks! I miss the little man, but I just enjoy the evenings and weekends with him more.

We took shared parental leave, so the husband is now off with him until mid-Dec. We've now entered the unpaid portion of the leave though, so all the bills etc are my sole responsibility for the next few months! I just don't like that pressure, so figured I'd try and do something about it. I also want to clear my debts and start saving once hubby is back in work in the new year - if we ever want a chance of buying a place!

Hoping that I'll be able to get enough regular stuff to do a couple of hours each evening once baby is in bed, so that we're comfortable instead of counting the pennies each month.

Otterses · 20/09/2019 08:56

Just wanted to say (I'm not qualifying) but I'm getting TONS of invites from Focus Force and Testing Time.

Well worth signing up for some extra Christmas money Smile

rhij86 · 20/09/2019 09:40

@Otterses just signed up for those too - I have signed up for tonnes of sites the last few days! But I am hoping I'll soon figure out what is worth my time and what isn't... and whittle them down

3dogsnorth · 20/09/2019 09:53

Just signed up to Testing time and hope it's a good one. Didn't sign up to Focus Force. It seems to want attendance at groups in London? Is that right?

rhij86 · 20/09/2019 10:00

@3dogsnorth I thought that but during the sign up process you can specify on line/telephone work only

Moremoneyplease · 20/09/2019 10:25

Can I ask a daft question? I've had an email from Appen asking me to sign a Master Service Agreement on my account, but when I log in I can't see it. I've emailed them asking for help, but thought I'd ask here in case it's somewhere really obvious that I just can't see!

PlinkPlink · 20/09/2019 11:14

Just popping on to say I've managed to get to £50 this month so far on Crisp. Yay.

Eventually when DS pops off to nursery, I'll do some more bits off that list but for now Crisp works for me incredibly well.

I'm coming up to my 3rd month of working with Crisp now so hopefully I can move onto the other areas they offer soon.

Hope everyone is doing well this month!

anxiouswaiting · 20/09/2019 15:38

Had my trial recordings by isoftstone, going to get working on that this weekend since it has the potential for about £330 extra this month which would be fab. If anyone else would like to be referred and would be happy for me to refer them let me know Smile

Anyone else waiting for Sankuru on Appen? It's been about 3 weeks and still no data to work on, its getting frustrating, need to get earning for Christmas!

Frenchdoors1 · 20/09/2019 16:19

@anxiouswaiting

Hi
I signed up to Appen on the 6th of this month -I opted for Sankura and Siberius and haven't heard anything. I don't really understand how it all works though, are they really very busy therefore can't accommodate everyone!?!

Otterses · 20/09/2019 16:55

@Frenchdoors1

I don't think busy as such, I think it looks like projects have caps. So say Nile for example, let's say they can only take ten people. 5 men and 5 women. You're waiting for a space to open up where you hit the right criteria Smile sit tight. Looking back I registered with Leapforce in March 2018, and heard nothing till I was offered Nile September 18!

Happy Friday everyone!

whatthewhatthewhat · 20/09/2019 17:03

@anxiouswaiting sent you a DM 😁

Frenchdoors1 · 20/09/2019 17:30

@Otterses
Thanks for explaining the reason why.
I'll sit tight then. Smile

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 20/09/2019 21:17

yay, managed to grab my 4th amazon voucher on gener8, thats a nice £20 towards Christmas presents so far!

seizethecuttlefish · 20/09/2019 21:58

I'm doomed! I failed the Mapping Tool test for Lionbridge! Considering it's open book and I took ages checking my answers, that's a bit embarrassing. Doesn't help that they don't tell you what the passmark is. I'm beginning to think this kind of stuff, isn't my thing. Confused

Evening Smile may be of interest to someone but over last four weeks I e been experimenting with Heart Bingo. I initially put in £10 and played religiously the free games/spins plus wagering 5 & 10p on a game called Wags Smile I'm making about 30 to 40£ weekly for no other investment than the initial tenner. I didn't play for about five days once and they sent me a free fiver to entice me back.

If anyone wants to try it out ? Good luck 😉

MySqueeHasBeenSeverelyHarshed · 21/09/2019 01:10

I'm doing surprisingly well on Cloudworkers, nearly hit the 50 euro mark and it's not even the end of the week yet. Got a 50 euro check from RedC after doing surveys for them as much as possible for a few months. Thinking I might pick up matched betting on the back of this success and see what happens.

Moremoneyplease · 21/09/2019 10:52

@MySqueeHasBeenSeverelyHarshed That's amazing! Can I ask how you signed up with RedC? Just had a look at their website and couldn't see.

I'm working my way through most of the companies mentioned on this thread. Haven't got any work with the big paying ones yet Confused Had to start a new notebook to keep track of them all!

rhij86 · 21/09/2019 10:58

Has anyone got much experience with clickworkers? I'm just doing some pinterest stuff for them but wondering how long it takes them to approve work etc, don't want to devote loads of my time to it if it's going to get declined?

MrsGaryLightbody · 21/09/2019 12:30

@rhij86 yes I have. Been doing it for months now , great earnings and they pay weekly in US $ generally earnings up to Tuesday get paid by Friday. I earned 75 yesterday on the Pinterest ones.
Definitely been good for me.
