A big thank you to to @reddA for compiling the list below :) and thanks to @Otterses for all the hard work, keeping these threads going.

Have joined Respondent (thanks @justtheonethen). What are the projects like on there? There's one offering $125 to discuss a workplace thing that is a one to one? What does that mean?!

Roxette · 12/09/2019 10:18

Sorry, ignore previous question. I can't do them because I don't have LinkedIn

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/09/2019 10:20

Appen global or the other one?

Anyone see the email? They are merging?

What if you've got accounts with both?

justtheonethen · 12/09/2019 10:50

@Roxette I can't do the work ones either- keep checking and they have lots of other stuff. Just apply to all that you can.
They are generally a Skype session where they ask you questions.

Moremoneyplease · 12/09/2019 11:02

Can I just ask - is it safe to allow companies like Appen and Respondent to link to FB accounts and LinkedIn etc? Not sure what they can do, but it makes me feel a little nervous!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 12/09/2019 11:22

My Appen is linked to a major social media company (not allowed to name!) because my project is for that company. The work is done on a tool the company provide so yes i trust them.

girlicorne · 12/09/2019 11:57

@seizethecuttlefish I had the problem with under $50 in there too so I have applied for the payoneer mastercard, I am assuming they will transfer any amount onto there and the $50 limit is only for bank transfers? I will receive it next week though so not happy about having to wait longer for the money!

SNISR · 12/09/2019 12:26

Clear blue rang today and will be sending out the study pack today.

Anyone else already done it?

rhij86 · 12/09/2019 13:10

Can I just ask, how realistic is it to do things like this while working full time as well? Or is it more aimed at people who are part time/SAH?

TIA

Frenchdoors1 · 12/09/2019 13:24

@SNISR

I did the Clear blue sample a couple of months ago and it was very straightforward, they are very quick too, they don't hang around. Got high street voucher a few days after Great company.

Otterses · 12/09/2019 13:33

@rhij86

I work 8-6 Monday to Friday and squeeze around 400-1000 a month out of my free time Smile

Does anyone have a referral for that 3500 speech collection project on isoftstone? I saw it mentioned and I believe you get £10 for referring me!

justtheonethen · 12/09/2019 13:36

@Otterses I can do it but I think @Wolfff can too if you want to spread the love as I have referred a few already. Happy to though! You need to send @Wolfff (or me) your email address and your name if it's not clear from your email.

rhij86 · 12/09/2019 13:39

@Otterses that's incredible! Can I ask roughly how many hours per week you put in for that, and what types of tasks you are doing? I started signing up to things like appen last night but didn't have a copy of my CV on my phone, so need to do that this evening.

Otterses · 12/09/2019 13:44

@WolfffGrin fab! I'll PM you in a bit.

@rhij86 I do around 45 minutes a day with Appen on a project I do for them, that earns me around £300 a month. Then I do about 6-8 hours of Crisp Thinking a week, while watching TV usually. I don't push myself very hard at the moment to be honest. Then there's usually a £20 voucher for amazon from mobilexpression.

My point is, you can be a lazy arse like me, or like others on here and smash £1000 Grin

rhij86 · 12/09/2019 13:52

@Otterses thank you, no reason for me not to be able to make some extra spending money then! On it this evening. Thanks again.

Otterses · 12/09/2019 14:25

@rhij86

Absolutely! It's all about luck, in terms of the right opportunity coming along, but I'd sign up to everything and see what sticks.

pisspants · 12/09/2019 14:39

@rhij86 I work full time and recently started doing online English teaching via Cambly from 9 till 11 Monday to Friday. Then an appen project for 1 hour per day on the weekend (though could do it any 2 days of the week). I am also working my way through Team Profit matcher betting and have made about £200 on that so far after starting 2 months ago and still have loads of offers to work my way through.
To be honest I am friggin knackered but am doing it to try and pay down debt between now and Christmas. I will then have a rethink as to how many hours I can manage long term.
From doing this though I am making an extra £100 a week. The good thing is it is that almost everything people are doing on here is very flexible so you can always cut back on what you are doing if it does get too much.
I think with most of the good earners there is a bit of a wait involved to start - it took about a month after signing up to get accepted on Cambly and about 6 weeks to get my first Appen project. I passed the Crisp test at the same sort of time (late June) and am still waiting on that.
So in would just sign up to everything then see what bites first and then what sticks after that.

rhij86 · 12/09/2019 14:47

@pisspants that's good to know, thanks! Do you need English/teaching qualifications for the tutoring?
I'll sign up for everything and see what's out there. Ideally I want to pay down debts and get some savings started. I've done matched betting but have exhausted all the sign up offers now. There are ongoing weekly offers but haven't touched those for a while. Another thing for me to dip my toe back into perhaps.

pisspants · 12/09/2019 14:56

@rhij86 you dont need teaching qualifications or experience for Cambly. I quite enjoy it as it is mostly just conversational practice with adults. I average about $9 an hour on them. They pay per minute with a full hour being $10 something. but it's hard to have a full hour covered. Its flexible in that you book priority hours that you want to work. If you dont want to work them you can cancel if more than 12 hours in advance. It is global so open to work in 24 hours a day! 2 hours is my max though as it sometimes runs a bit over if someone calls in just towards the end of an hour.

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/09/2019 15:38

Anyone had stuff waiting to be approved from Appen global for over six weeks???
They are taking the p...

TheLolaMontez · 12/09/2019 15:50

Does anyone have a sign up link for isoftstone please?

Moremoneyplease · 12/09/2019 15:54

Just took the Crisp test! How long did people wait before hearing back?

seizethecuttlefish · 12/09/2019 16:08

@Moremoneyplease quite a few people have been waiting for a couple of months or more. There's no guarantee you get anything, I'm afraid. I passed nearly 2 months ago and haven't heard anything.

seizethecuttlefish · 12/09/2019 16:08

Sorry, realised that sounds really negative!

Got 18/20 anyway, will retake after looking through this thread to see what I missed! Thanks for heads up about wait time, won't expect too much! Wink
