ZetaPuppis · 31/08/2019 05:28

Thanks for this thread! I’m going to try earn some money on the sites suggested here.
Has anyone done any work for Lionbridge? I’m wondering what they’re like.
Has anyone had any work rejected for Appen? I did one project but it seems to have been rejected though I can’t really tell. Just a symbol has appeared that has rejected as an annotation.

itscliffmas · 31/08/2019 18:44

Hi.

Brilliant thread, I've been lurking for a few weeks but have got some fabulous ideas from this thread.

Is anyone doing the Thunderbird qualification on Appen?

jemrock · 31/08/2019 19:49

Hello all,

Loving this thread, it's amazing!

Could someone kind please talk me through the MrQ free bingo? I have collected my 6 free tickets but can't seem to work out how to use them!

Thank you!

3dogsnorth · 31/08/2019 22:08

@itscliffmas Where did you get info on Thunderbird. That doesn't come up when I log into Appen.

itscliffmas · 31/08/2019 23:07

@3dogsnorth they emailed me.
I'm very confused though. My tasks have gone from 300 to 3500.
Surely I'm not expected to do 3500 just to qualify 😳

Otterses · 01/09/2019 07:54

Does someone mind popping up a September thread :) ?

OP posts:
SNISR · 01/09/2019 09:47

Can someone tell me how to create a new invoice for September on Appen? I've submitted August invoice and just done today's rating for innari-C project, but when I click on 'create' in invoice section it doesn't give me the innari-C option in the 'project' section.
What am I doing wrong? I want to start a new invoice for this new month.

anxiouswaiting · 01/09/2019 10:37

@SNISR mine is the same, this happened last month as well. we have to wait for them to fix the invoices

Wolfff · 01/09/2019 13:27

The Appen new invoice creation is working now.

seizethecuttlefish · 01/09/2019 14:06

@Otterses I'll pop one up but can't link to this via the phone.

pisspants · 01/09/2019 14:14

Just wondering how everyone did this month? I am not at the £300 but made £175.
£30 from Appen (invoice submitted but not received yet), £121 from Cambly, £5 from ipsos and £19 from Prolific.

SNISR · 01/09/2019 14:34

Thanks @anxiouswaiting and @Wolfff

@pisspants I made $330 on Appen
£200 matched betting - only did it for a couple of weeks and then neglected this when I got side tracked and applied for palfish 😅
£80 on palfish (it was my first week last week)
£27 on Qmee
£5 shoppix
£5 huyu
£6 prolific. Never seen it this quiet before

Applied for cloud workers, cambly, crisp and ModSquad so waiting to hear back from them.

Awwww @Zebrimid
Were the chats mostly of sexual nature? I have applied but I'm not sure if i will be able to stick to it...

Otterses · 01/09/2019 16:35

@Zebrimid

If you hate it, stop. There's absolutely no need to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. The point of these threads is to provide options Smile

I invoiced Appen for $398 so over £320. I was paid about £60 from Intellizoom during the month and about £30 for Prolific. Back to work on Monday though (been on leave for 3 weeks) so no time to look for surveys. Appen global still owe me $50 for 202.

I have tentatively signed up to a couple of things on isoftstone and Utest, I don't really have time to do them though.

Many thanks for all the advice and support received on this thread. I need to find extra funds for my stepfathers care home or rather supporting my Mum as the fees take most of his pension and this has been a lifeline.

justtheonethen · 01/09/2019 17:52

Have made £900 on crisp, £25 on prolific and £80 on respondent.

@Zebrimid can't see your messages now but hope you're ok.
