Yeah, you have to transcribe 20 short pieces of speech. You can't use capitals, abbreviations or punctuation. Thought I did it right, I guess not Sad

MrsGaryLightbody · 21/08/2019 10:43

@Otterses just checking in and saw your news ! Maybe it's a sign that you need to do a start up business Smile
All good work with prolific & vypr .. slow but steady. Branded surveys was good tome this month and I've just cashed out 55£ would of been 70£ in vouchers but needs must .
Clickworker has been a nightmare this week as there's an error on site . So less than 7£ cash out this week!
Good luck to everyone x

3dogsnorth · 21/08/2019 10:48

Hi everyone. I'm currently working on Truckee on Appen. Anyone got an ideas how to get projects on Appen Global or to hurry along projects that you've applied for

tinkywinkyshandbag · 21/08/2019 10:50

@3dogsnorth I'm just waiting for Truckee to be set up is it any good? I'd also like something meatier to get stuck into though and am also waiting for Global. Did you do any or all or the qualification quizzes on there?

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:55

Does anyone have the link for signing up to the smaller appen tasks? I'm only on the longer term ones at the moment, I've looked back on the thread but can't find a link Hmm

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:55

I think it's Global I'm looking for...

3dogsnorth · 21/08/2019 10:58

Yes I like the Truckee project. It's easy once you get going and the money is good. Only done 2 of the quizzes on Global. Maybe the key to work is doing more?

3dogsnorth · 21/08/2019 10:59

@TheLolaMontez What long term task are you on? I've got 3 waiting, it's so frustrating! Don't do Fletcher! You'll seriously lose the will to live!

MrsLoganEcholls · 21/08/2019 11:03

Crisp bank payments are in! @0htooooodles

0htooooodles · 21/08/2019 11:05

@MrsLoganEcholls yessss! Just paid my bills 😂

DontCallMeDarling · 21/08/2019 11:05

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 11:09

@3dogsnorth I completed fletcher a few months ago, it was hell ☹️ but I was determined!!
I'm on basically all of them, just waiting. Some have been "in progress" for months, just not getting anywhere 😩 losing the will to live slightly.

Thanks @DontCallMeDarling ❤️

SNISR · 21/08/2019 11:11

@pisspants i just checked my email and it says they're paying me $19 for 327 recordings. Not worth it, but Better than nothing I suppose.

toastytea · 21/08/2019 11:22

Does global notify you if there's a task available? I signed up to cambly and not heard anything. Wondering if my webcam isn't good enough. Prolific has been my best thing so far!!

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 11:28

Just signed up for global, do you have to do the quizzes or shall I not bother? I'm not sure I can take any more hits to my ego today 🤦🏻‍♀️

StudentHelp · 21/08/2019 11:59

Vypr keeps sending a notification saying I’m near a store boundary and to go inside for a high value steer...when I’m already inside the store. The high value steer never surfaces and the in store section is empty. I’ve tried pulling down to refresh

CatHopeful · 21/08/2019 12:25

Crisp sent my bank transfer today too - am relieved as was worried about my invoice format given the first one failed. At least I have a set up I can replicate each month now.

StudentHelp I have never managed to get Vypr to recognise me for an instore steer. Frustrating, as there are loads I could have done.

Bemystarlord · 21/08/2019 12:42

When there is a task available on global they send you an email invitation. Worth doing the tests so you are eligible to receive more projects.

Cant even get to the crescent test as when i try to login in with my live id it says its wrong 😬

toastytea · 21/08/2019 14:03

Hmmm... What tests? Feel like I'm missing something. I've seen language tests but nothing beyond that.

Bemystarlord · 21/08/2019 14:27

@toastytea if you click on qualifications they are all under there.

StudentHelp · 21/08/2019 14:31

@CatHopeful Glad to hear it isn’t just happening to me. It actually worked today for Iceland and I wasn’t even in the shop!

Finally had another prolific study too

toastytea · 21/08/2019 14:38

Thanks. I'm not having the best day. Radiator leak which just turned out to be a loose bolt... Probably didn't warrant a call out to the plumber. Flooring looks damaged. Argh.

CatHopeful · 21/08/2019 14:44

I've finally got my head together enough to pull together something resembling a CV and have applied for Appen. No real idea of what it will involve or what the timescales are with it, but sounds like it is worth investigating.

Otterses · 21/08/2019 17:17

@toastytea

WRONG APPEN Shock

Get onto Appen Connect as well as global. Global is tests for longer term projects.

I have one already (thanks!) but as they are in US it doesn't count i don't think :-(

Anyway, if anyone wants to help me evaluate it my link is
