@Replica

Have you moved from country/country? If you're still in the same country, there's no reason why you can't apply to Appen, LionBridge, isoftstone, etc. Make sure you're on both Appen global and Appen connect.

On mobeye, did you check out the 'from anywhere' task list? That's literally 10p for a photo of your kettle

I can't lie, I'm not a survey fan. I only bother with Profilic personally, as you can't get screened out.

Am I right in thinking you have about 9-3 free? If so, I'd seriously look at applying to Cambly, Palfish, Crisp, Modsquad, all the website testing sites like what users do, UTest, etc. Are you on Angelfish and Respondant? There's some good money to be made from research studies on there.

Throw everything at the wall, and see what sticks!

@pisspants it sounds like you're doing fantastically! It's really hard working out how to fit stuff in around work without totally exhausting yourself certainly still a learning curve I'm on.

@TheLolaMontez Grin so basically all you do is cobble some designs together to sell on t-shirts, mugs, etc. Then put them up on sites like red bubble, Shopify, Amazon, etc. Who then print and despatch them when a customer orders them. It's really passive once you've designed and uploaded them. Obviously marketing would improve your sales.

It was just a thought Smile

That sounds good @Otterses I shall investigate 😁

MynameisJune · 20/08/2019 09:43

De-lurking!

I’ve got my first People for research survey at 10. £50 for 45mins so not a bad rate of pay. Downloaded loads of the survey apps and just do them when I’ve got 10 mins.

Have taken the Crisp test but I don’t think I can do stuff like that until after Christmas when my maternity allowance stops.

I can’t get prolific to work at all.

Replica · 20/08/2019 09:45

Thanks Otterses. Yes we've moved country (thanks stupid Brexit).

Due to DH travelling for work with no set pattern and one DC with ASD, I will not be returning to work at the moment as the stress of trying to juggle it all became too much! I do however feel the need to be contributing financially somehow.

I've signed up for prolific and clickworkers but there is nothing on there at the moment. I'm working through everything that has been posted on here - thanks for the amazing list of options :)

ChubRubTub · 20/08/2019 13:54

Thanks Otterses for the additional ideas, you're so great to still be on here supporting us when you've got so much else to think about.

Your idea for the sharing of referral codes is genius. There's definitely some mileage in that.

Has anyone done work for UTest or Testing Time? Does much come up?

pisspants · 20/08/2019 14:53

thanks @Otterses am friggin knackered but will carry on carrying on for the time being and try to pay back the credit card debt. What is annoying is I have got myself into this type of mess before and told myself never again - I really hope I remember this struggle and it forces me to stop ever using them again. I really must cut them all up.

The idea of a referral codes website is fab just today I ordered a school bag for dd from Shuh and it gives 15% off to a friend I think. so if anyone wants that let me know. Would be so good to be able to put it somewhere. I wonder if there is an open source website we can use and all upload to as and when. Then take off the referral links if they no longer work?

DontCallMeDarling · 20/08/2019 16:07

I finally got onto an Appen project, passed the test and went onto the work page and...error message Grin. Sent a message to support message so we shall see. So close.........lol

Fizbo · 20/08/2019 20:41

Hi can anyone help? I'm in the process of sending documents to cloud workers and they are asking for an agent log in number which I can't see on any of the emails? I'm assuming that will be sent to me after they have received my documents but equally don't want to mess anything up😬

bananamuffin99 · 20/08/2019 20:51

@fizbo you get it afterwards :)

Fizbo · 20/08/2019 22:07

@bananamuffin99 great thank you that's put my mind at rest Smile

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 21/08/2019 00:28

Aww Otterses, hope it all works out for you - I take it you haven't been long with this employer?
I've finally done my first Crispy invoice - I was a bit late with it.

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 08:01

FINALLY had an email to say my invoice for fletcher is ready 🌟 not checked it yet though so won't get my hopes up too quickly.

Also had an email to say they are offering me crescent project - anyone some this? Can't even remember what it is...

SNISR · 21/08/2019 08:27

@TheLolaMontez I was filling in my invoice for the innari C project last night and noticed my fletcher project was added in there too.
Like a lot of people, I didn't finish it either. I think I did about 250ish.

Update on other side hustles:
I did the Crisp test at the weekend so waiting to hear back from them

Clear blue have sent me some paperwork to sign and send back.

I am all set up to take my palfish interview today. So excited and nervous as I want to make this my full time thing so hoping i do well.

Innari C project on Appen is going really well. I'm loving the ££ on my invoice build up nicely. Anyone else on this project?

Will apply for Cambly once Im done with the palfish interview and settle in if I pass the interview.

I hope it's going well for everyone 🙂

SNISR · 21/08/2019 08:33

Also forgot to add, kantar signed me up to the Royal Mail postal survey, where you receive and send letters with a tracker inside. As a thank you, you get a book of stamps. Total waste of time and effort. I wouldn't recommend this project and stopped after receiving the first few letters.

I do shop and scan and it's a nice way of saving up next vouchers and spending on the kids clothes when the sales are on.

pisspants · 21/08/2019 08:42

@SNISR can I ask how much you got for the 250 bits of Fletcher? I did a similar amount before giving up but was not sure how much i would get from it (when they eventually do pay!) so would be great to know - thanks x

anxiouswaiting · 21/08/2019 09:18

@TheLolaMontez I am on Crescent. It is one where you login to another platform and complete small tasks. Generally pays $0.02- $0.05 per task from my experience. I worked out that I average $9 an hour when I work on those tasks - some tasks I choose not to do because the pay per taak is crazy low for what they are asking you to so, others are easy and quick to whizz through. Its a food one to dip in and out of whever suits you, but there isn't always work available. Also be aware one task that comes up regularly is around identifying adult content, on this project I did see something very upsetting, so you need to be prepared for that. I find it is not reliable but is good to make a few quid when they have tasks available.

@SNISR I am on InariC as well, its a great way to be sure of meeting your £10 target every day. It can be a bit frustrating at times because I can get throigh posts much quicker than the allowed time but of course that means you get paid less, so I have to pace myself! I am really glad to be on that one though and will be sad when it stops.

Bemystarlord · 21/08/2019 09:24

Hi all just checking in as ive not been on for awhile.

Sorry to hear about the possible redundancy @Otterses will keep fingers crossed it passes you by this time.

@TheLolaMontez ive had an invite to crescent this morning too so going to check it out later. Hoping it will be worthwhile! (Still email checking for crisp though🤣)

Still waiting on crisp and modsquad. So not really made much this month just a a bit from the one off appen jobs and on prolific. Hoping once the kids are back at school next month i can be more productive.

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 09:54

I'm still waiting and hoping @Bemystarlord 😩 maybe one day we will be crispers!

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:01

Just checked fletcher invoice, bearing in mind I completed all recordings, they've paid me £44.50 ☹️
Maybe they didn't like "hey Portal, show me some lesbians" 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Can this be appealed or is it what they say goes?

whatthewhatthewhat · 21/08/2019 10:18

@TheLolaMontez is hat the 867 (ish) recordings? That's $50 dollars, that's right 😢

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:19

I thought they had increased it to $75?

Bemystarlord · 21/08/2019 10:21

@TheLolaMontez i got $50 too. Dont think it was increased for everyone 😬

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:22

Ooh the sods Sad

TheLolaMontez · 21/08/2019 10:28

Just tried the qualification for Crescent and failed the English exam... wtf?! Followed the guidelines exactly, or so I thought.
Fucks sake. Feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall 😩😭

Bemystarlord · 21/08/2019 10:33

@TheLolaMontez oh no :( where did you find the english exam? Is it when you go to start working the task?
