I have found my people! Totally confused about the names/nicknames but I think the random diamond bloke is the one who tried to recruit me. Lots. Is his wife also in the business? And both of their family members? It has been exhausting saying no so many times and I don’t get how they have any actual friends anymore.

If someone upsets you and you don't want to talk to them then you can block them on everything. Never badmouth the other parent, no matter what they have done. It's not about the adults it's about the kids.

I'm not sure if anyone saw the Louis Theroux documentary last night but I understand one of the ladies featured is involved in Tropic. I don't know the circumstances and it was obviously a serious/complex issue. Just to reiterate how exploitative this industry can be.

WoodenToyKitchen You are right, and she is using the abuse to her advantage. I was psychologically abused when I was 10 and in a bad relationship from the age of 16. I have 4 children they are 32,25,23,18 after therapy I began to realise I was right and everyone else wrong, I am now 47 and I am the happiest person I know. I have learnt to put myself first, because if I am not happy my family are not happy

Whiplash as well, that takes a lot of force like you see in a car crash. I got severe whiplash from falling and hitting my head on a radiator many years ago but the forces needed for that were quite severe.

Fun fact: some medical professionals are so used to people making up whiplash after a car accident to get cash that I have been met with disinterest about the long lasting effects of my whiplash until I mention it wasn't car related and my own stupid fault. Obviously this sucks for the many genuine people because whiplash sucks and to be honest a lot of the money genuine people receive is likely to go on private treatment.
