Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

Radio silence from Nurse.
PHD going to Sydney re DoTerra
Promotion bot (hobgate guest went to Stockholm under own steam) trying to sell shakes, no takers.

DownThePan · 14/05/2019 11:02

If PromotionBot put on nearly half a stone in just 3 days in Sweden, then it's proof that the shakes are a load of bollocks and not a sustainable lifestyle choice for weight management.

fromdownwest · 14/05/2019 11:10

Is it me or does it feel weirdly quiet on the bot front? Something doesn't seem right.

Spongebobette · 14/05/2019 11:26

at 44 minutes in that youtube video with Castle and bruv, there's a bit from PhD bot who says 70- 80% of her new recruits drop out

it's a very interesting section....dealing with disappointments...

SSDGM · 14/05/2019 11:26

Broke is a fucking clown.

9dartfinish2nd · 14/05/2019 11:38

Wouldn't be at all surprised if word has got out probably from here, about the carve up of the bonus cheques in Stockholm.

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 14/05/2019 11:40

Jesus, Broke.

Lol at #wifiwealth

I will stick to my #jobwages thanks. Hope all that coffee gives you the raging squits.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2019 11:59

Jesus, what a twat.

SnoogyWoo · 14/05/2019 12:04

Yawn posting on Instagram a bit but I still can’t see anything on FB.

MLMsuperfan · 14/05/2019 12:21

Broke manages to find the sleaziest MLMs. It's almost impressive.

spanfan · 14/05/2019 12:30

@dart I was thinking that. I think the penny has dropped about the shitty bonus cheque distribution.

fromdownwest · 14/05/2019 12:45

It shows complete lack of business sense and awareness of your market (the Bots).

It does indicate that the 1% clearly have a significant impact upon the business.

It would have been more worthwhile, for them to keep feeding scraps to the lower level bots, thus keeping their interest, and in turn feeding even smaller scraps to their down lines.

It does seem very short sighted, of a company, which until now, has been exceptional at making money from mugs.

fromdownwest · 14/05/2019 12:46

Pun intended, and you don't have to queue 3 hours for that one.

Norma27 · 14/05/2019 13:17

I think forever shite have dropped a clanger. I really hope so anyway. They have made the cheques look really unachievable for the lowly bots now. Those already botted up seem to be oblivious to it all and have their blinkers on.
Hopefully new potential victims will see what happened this year and run a mile.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2019 13:30

There will have been several factors at play in FLP's decision to skew the bonus system towards the higher level bots.

I am not privy to the performance in their markets outside the UK, except what one can glean from the country distribution of cheques, and their country 'league table'.

The fact that the UK, which is clearly a market in sharp decline (as evidenced in their accounts and by the number/size) of UK cheques), has actually risen in the rankings suggests that FLP global is in trouble.

Another indication of this is that, 'largest cheque ever' notwithstanding, the overall amount in bonus cheques given out has been sharply down.

As people have said earlier, there are two main probable reasons for FLP to boost the higher level cheque 'earners' at the expense of the lower levels:

  1. This enables bots and potential to continue to be dazzled by large cheques, which would not otherwise be so impressive (especially when compared to the boom years).
  1. The higher level bots are part of the Global Leadership Team. I don't know how much strategic influence this body yields within FLP, so cannot say whether it's them feathering their nests, but what is certain is that they are privy to the internal workings of FLP in a way that lower ranking bots are not. For them to develop a sense of grievance over what they feel is their due risks for them to go rogue, and perhaps divulge some damaging information.

Given the smaller bonus pot due to declining revenue, FLP made the decision to allocate it in such a way as to keep the brightest stars shining.

I do not know how this is playing out in other markets, but in the UK, senior bots below Token ManBot level are now in no cheque or 'not worth mentioning' cheque territory (especially compared to previous years).

How this plays out for the UK very much depends on which way these latter bots go. It could be either "work harder to get back to where we were" or "did that for a lark, I'm off".

Which of those two ways they go is down to a number of factors (their individual personal circumstances, how fully botted they are, ...), but an major one will be whether they feel that the new bonus rules have made it impossible for them to get back to where they want to be.

In order for this factor to come into play, they first have to be aware of it. The Ubers and Bloodsuckers of this world knew about the new rules, which is why Uber redoubled her efforts to (allegedly) buy herself over the line.

I am convinced the other bots (excluding perhaps Token Manbot) did not know about the change - in part, this is their own fault for failing to carry out due diligence and not reading the full text of the new policies and procedures document published on the FLP website- but they certainly didn't have their attention drawn to it.

If those bots became aware of the changes and their effects on their incomes by having it drawn to their attention on this thread, and decide on this information to throw their toys out of the pram, we will have played a major part in accelerating the fall of FLP in the UK.** That would come too late to save my family, but it would give me an immense amount of satisfaction.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2019 13:33

•sod that for a lark

BSintolerant · 14/05/2019 13:36

Grin fromdownwest

When are bots going to realise that their money is going straight into the pockets of their uplines and will ultimately enrich the CEO of whichever MLM they’re in?

Why can’t they see it before they’re brainwashed?

The BBC MLM documentary did an excellent job making it clear where all the money comes from and where it all ends up. Let’s hope that bots have the intelligence to watch it and realise they’ve been stitched up like kippers.

May’s turning into an interesting month for MLMs. Grin

Jigsawpuzzle · 14/05/2019 14:22

In MLM lies exposed a teacher was given a used sample of Mary Kay.
My DD being an International Teacher gets Estée Lauder etc and when she had the girls was given designer baby wear.

FranceTeam · 14/05/2019 15:49

To be fair, I think I would alter the bonus pot payout as well if sales were declining as significantly as that. It would be best to protect and retain the top earners for as long as you can.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2019 16:08

@FranceTeam - I think They didn't have much choice.

The problem only really arises for them if those whose pots have been plundered realise this.

As I've said earlier, I don't believe that lot are the kind to dig forensically into a 47-page Policies & Procedures document posted deep in the company website to discover the ever-so-slight alterations (the addition of a comma and three benign words over two lines), let alone grasp their significance.

Head Office is hoping this will go unnoticed and they will just think they didn't work hard enough.

My hope is that one or more of the bots who read this thread (Yawn is a regular, and Castle has previously reacted to posts) will cotton on and realise they've been fleeced and that Rexy's family and the top bots have made sure that, even if they pull out all the stops, the large cheques are no longer there for them.

FranceTeam · 14/05/2019 16:39

Yeah, I guess it makes sense on both sides. For the corporate body to protect its own interests and hope for a few more years of sales, and for the declining bot to jump ship. I guess the corporate hopes the top bots can turn recruitment around.

I suppose in a normal business you need a staff turnover rate so things don’t get stale, but mlm seems to assume you can keep doing the same thing over and over again with no real innovation.

Spongebobette · 14/05/2019 16:45

Kind of ironic that the middle and lower bots are currently gushing about the 'generosity' of Forever Living when, in reality, it's quite the opposite

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2019 17:13

@FranceTeam - You're right about 'normal businesses'.

The thing about MLMs is that they are doomed to fail. There is no mechanism to cope with market saturation, since there has to be permanent expansion for them to exist.

Bots are told that the way to earn is to recruit. These recruits are told the same, ad Infinitum. There is no point at which the leadership can say "ok, we've hit saturation point, let's slow down". If they do, there is no loger any point in botting, and the whole thing crumbles from below.

This is what will happen anyway, because the saturation point has been reached. The number of bots is dwindling, as there are fewer people willing to join to feed the current bottom level of the pyramid. Since the bots are also the overwhelming share of end customers (bar a few sympathy purchases), this means overall turnover falls rapidly. There is only one way this can end.

By rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic, the company hopes that a couple of attention-grabbing cheques will distract the demoralised troops and delay the inevitable.

If the tube cheque bots realise that they have been robbed and jack it in in disgust, the pyramid is no longer just crumbling from the bottom, it is disintegrating.

It's not like a normal business where you can replace upper-middle managers through internal promotion or external recruitment. You have to build extensive downlines to get there, something that is no longer possible.

In trying to steady the ship and delay the moment it disappears under the waves, FLP may inadvertently have accelerated the process.

This depends on the shafted bots realising they've been shafted .

I will be stalking my favourites with extra interest over the next few days/weeks.

Teddy1970 · 14/05/2019 17:18

Does anyone think Yawn and Castle will leave FL?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 14/05/2019 17:27

I can imagine Yawn staying put.

I think she gets a kick from being "high profile" in the lowly bots eyes and loves the "oh you're so wonderful/you have great taste/you look fab" type comments from them. I think sometimes she even believes that she has the fake life she portrays.

I think she still hopes that she'll get a big cheque one day but realistically knows it's over and there's not a chance.

Secretly I think she'll find another income to run alongside FL, and Mr Yawn will have to up his hours in his secret job.
