Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

@pineapplepatty it was the next day.

Can anyone tell me how long until they found out if they were successful after the 30 minute test on crisp?

Otterses · 26/04/2019 16:55

Earning £10 a day @JamdaniSari Grin May be worth skimming the first thread.

Crisp addicts Grin

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 17:20

@justtheonethen where did you find the test? I downloaded the app and too a photo of the bar code on my laptop but can't see a test anywhere. Thanks!

justtheonethen · 26/04/2019 17:30

@pineapplepatty I just clicked on the link in the email and it took me to a log in page then clicked on 'mod2'. I didn't download an app?

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 18:07

Well I'm pretty sure I've failed badly! It kept freezing and saying that there was an error which was very off putting.

reddA · 26/04/2019 18:19

@pineapplepatty let them know, they are really good at communicating (unlike Appen Angry )

reddA · 26/04/2019 18:20

Also, there have been quite a few errors today and yesterday with the system so it is probably a similar issue

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 18:26

Thanks Redd. I did email and they said not to worry.

I'd like to pass as it seems quite fun.

justtheonethen · 26/04/2019 19:38

🤞🏻 for us both @pineapplepatty

Babyiwantabump · 26/04/2019 22:27

How long did it take from signing and returning the forms to crisp for people to hear back again? sent it callback yesterday and haven't heard back today and from reading through it seems people heard back almost immediatly?

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 23:01

I got it back about ten minutes later @Babyiwantabump but I sent it yesterday morning.

Babyiwantabump · 26/04/2019 23:32

Oh I wonder what has happened - Starting to think they maybe sent it to me by mistake !!

justtheonethen · 27/04/2019 03:59

@pineapplepatty was your crisp test just all text? I am starting to think it didn't load properly or something as only one had a picture and so I'm worried I've clicked no risk for a lot that could have been a risk if there was a pic accompanying it to give it context.

pineapplepatty · 27/04/2019 07:04

@justtheonethen I only had one picture too, most was no risk but it wasn't loading properly and kept freezing. I'm sure it'll be a no for me.

justtheonethen · 27/04/2019 07:53

@pineapplepatty thank you. Yes I'm not feeling confident Sad

FriedEggs1 · 27/04/2019 08:03

Hi lazymumsmh

Thanks for the info on Rev. I've just read a bit about them and they seem really good to work for. I also have done lots of transcription at work in my normal day job but not tried a transcription company yet.

I've a couple of questions if that's OK? To play back the transcripts, do you know if you can use a foot pedal? Just thinking that it could be a pain without one! Also, can you do transcripts, captions and subtitles or do you have to concentrate on just one type? Do you have to submit a CV?

Sorry for all the questions! Any experience you have with them would be good to know about. You could PM me if you prefer! Smile

mydogisthebest · 27/04/2019 08:29

FriedEggs, I started doing the transcript test for Rev but stopped because I found it a pain not having a foot pedal. Keep having to hit the stop, replay and play buttons I found awkward

I was an audio typist for almost 30 years so I know I could do the job and still have a reasonable speed.

I might try it again though and actually finish to see if the pass me. Maybe it would get easier over time without a foot pedal?

FriedEggs1 · 27/04/2019 08:39

Thanks for your reply mydogisthebest

Well I've gone from being really excited about earning money from doing something I know a lot about to feeling really deflated after reading the reviews about working for Rev. So many people saying that it was great at first but after being with them for a week or so they adopt a ridiculous metric system and downgrade then deactivate you for putting a comma in the wrong place! And the ones reviewing your work are extremely harsh and don't listen to reason, even when THEY are actually in the wrong! Oh well! Shock

namechangedforanon · 27/04/2019 11:22

Hello all :)

Sorry for being MIA. I am going to be back from May .

Hoping I get can some new ideas going !

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 27/04/2019 15:41

@Otterses or any other crispers do you know if we are allowed to do monitoring or is it just mod 2? Thanks

SweetestSugar · 27/04/2019 16:18

How long does it take once you have signed the online Crisp contract for them to get back to you with next steps?

SweetestSugar · 27/04/2019 16:19

@Babyiwantabump I haven't heard back from Crisp either and I signed the contract few days ago now...

morekidsthanhands · 27/04/2019 16:39

@withallintenseandpurposes yes we can work in monitoring and batch - I don't though find monitoring harder, and pay doesn't show up on the dashboard when I work in there for some reason so I don't know how well I'm doing.

I can't remember how long it took from signing contracts etc to hearing back maybe a few days? I attached a copy and sent it directly to them with a copy of my license I think.

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 27/04/2019 16:51

1.7 surge on crisp now so will have a couple of hours
