Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

@Misskitty86 it must be about 6 weeks for me too so hopefully you'll hear something soon. I scored 19 as well. Keep checking your junk mail too just in case it's gone in there.

Misskitty86 · 25/04/2019 07:32

@fishandchops thanks! I'll keep an eye out Smile it sounds pretty interesting! x

mydogisthebest · 25/04/2019 08:03

I applied for appen again yesterday so maybe I'll get accepted this time. I think I will have another go at Crisp. I didn't do well on the test but it's worth trying again.

I am doing ok with matched betting. Certainly not making a fortune but my total stands at just over £100 now.

How are people making so much on oh my dosh? Are you all signing up for things and then cancelling? I am not keen on doing that because I am likely to forget or am worried it won't be easy to cancel

morekidsthanhands · 25/04/2019 12:43

I think crisp must be doing a hiring spree again as I've just been invited to join again lol. Look for an email from docusign- check junk folders for it too, it won't be too obvious it's from them.

I'm doing well I think at around the 350 mark that's with a week off. I keep getting intrigued by the other shifts on offer and things when you've been there a while. But also panicking I'm doing a terrible job and I'm gonna get kicked off. Wish you had more feedback!

pineapplepatty · 25/04/2019 13:55

I'm about to do the crisp 30 minute test, any tips? I'm a bit nervous

justtheonethen · 25/04/2019 14:41

@pineapplepatty so am I! Came on to ask if anyone had any tips!

I only signed up at the start of April so it hasn't taken too long.

reddA · 25/04/2019 14:55

Good luck on your tests! The only tip I took from the thread was to do a tally as you go along to see how many you have done, takes the pressure off a bit. Hope you both get through it :)

Anyone on Utest, they are needing people with kids under 11 to test a website, I did it the other day and it's easy - no screen shots or anything, just a survey as you go along. Pays $30 if I remember rightly.

justtheonethen · 25/04/2019 17:27

Thanks ReddA. Going to do it tomorrow so I'll definitely do a tally.

justtheonethen · 25/04/2019 17:36

What are people earning on Crisp and for how many hours?

Misskitty86 · 25/04/2019 18:10

@morekidsthanhands when did you do your crisp test? I really want to try this as I did pass the initial test but I've just double checked my deleted folder as well and I've got nothing from Crisp at all since I did the test on 08/03 - What was the email address that sent you the request to go to the next stage? I get lots of junk so I'm hoping I've maybe just missed the email - wishful thinking no doubt! Thank you x

morekidsthanhands · 25/04/2019 18:40

@misskitty86 I've been working for them for about a month but did the test a few times so I think I've been asked to join again in error. Got an email 2 days ago and a further reminder about it today.

Misskitty86 · 25/04/2019 18:48

@morekidsthanhands ahh okay cool! How long did it take from your initial test to actually starting? I'm tempted to just try the test again maybe - probably won't manage 19 this time, think that was a fluke haha

morekidsthanhands · 25/04/2019 19:01

@misskitty86 I did the test three times over the space of a week cos I kept getting 18. I has given up after the third time but got an email asking me to join the next day. Must be luck!

pineapplepatty · 25/04/2019 22:32

I did the test in February and was sent the form today. I'll do the test tomorrow.

If I pass what happens about holidays? I'm away in May for two weeks.

Babyiwantabump · 25/04/2019 22:38

Hi all ,

Jumping on the bandwagon!

Had an email from crisp today to sign and return the document and have also applied to Appen today !

Did anyone else get the - are you happy for adult /offensive content question? I wasn’t sure what to put as yes it may come across it on the internet but I don’t really want to actively search for it but then I don’t want to spoil my chances of getting the job!

What did you put??

Babyiwantabump · 26/04/2019 00:21

Or have I applied for the wrong thing with Appen?? Oh I’m so confused!

Otterses · 26/04/2019 07:12

@Babyiwantabump I put yes, though in over a year I can promise I've never seen anything offensive with Appen!

@pineapplepatty I think all they do is ask you to notify them if you'll be away and not working for three weeks or more Smile is drop them an email anyway though.

Happy redundancy day to me 🎉! Well, leaving day. They've decided not to close after all Hmm so now I'm actually the only one who's leaving ...

Crisp, like for a few of us, is going to supplement my income for a few weeks while I wait for my background checks to clear for my new job Grin

Few new bits to try out over the next few weeks, then report back on now I've got a lot more free time!

Hi

I am late to the party but would love to join in next month and am spending time signing up to things ready for that. I already do Prolific and I was suckered in to doing the Appen recordings, no way was it a 180 min task, took me about 6 hours, I will be so upset it it doesn't get approved!

Can anyone tell me how to join Crisp? I searched it on Google and on their site clicked on careers but none of the roles are home based.

reddA · 26/04/2019 12:17

@anxiouswaiting it's a bit hidden :) go to careers and then scroll down to where it says take your next steps, click on the link for freelance moderation work and join the waiting list

reddA · 26/04/2019 12:18

@Otterses have a fab last day! Wine

Babyiwantabump · 26/04/2019 13:59

Did anyone get an email from Appen asking to confirm your legal name and address?

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 15:05

I've done the training for crisp and am going to do the hour long test tonight. Can I just ask why people are recommending I keep a tally?

justtheonethen · 26/04/2019 15:19

@pineapplepatty it's because they want you to do at least 60 in half an hour so just for your reassurance. I did it and did loads more than 60 so I'm a bit worried I haven't done it right/carefully enough Confused

pineapplepatty · 26/04/2019 15:44

@justtheonethen I've done the training and emailed to say I've done it, how long did it take them to set the test up for you? I don't want to forget it all and have to redo it!

JamdaniSari · 26/04/2019 16:28

Sorry...I'm clueless here!
