Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

@fiddlesticks123 of course you're welcome Grin I'm glad it's been of use to you! What site are you using for matched betting?

Existing customer offers, I'll confess is where I can't be arsed 😂 but plenty make ££££ off reload offers.

How badly did you 'fail' Crisp? You can retake as many times as you like. I think it takes a few goes to figure out what they're looking for. The work is a lot easier than the test!

Thanks @Otterses! I don't use any site to coordinate the matched betting, just a free tracking spreadsheet I downloaded from teamprofit.com and a lay bet calculator on trickybet.net. What are reload offers? I just presumed they were the same as existing customer offers so I was just going to cash everything out and call it a day - maybe it's worth sticking with?!

Re Crisp, I got 17 so not terrible but it felt like there were so many variables that tracking my answers and trying something different the next time etc would be such a PITA it wouldn't be worth it. That said, I could really do with the cash so perhaps I need to be a bit more patient!!

Has anyone who took the Appen global quiz for "thunderbird web defect" and passed it heard anything back yet about it? It said I'd hear back in 72 hours but that was on MondayHmm thanks x

justtheonethen · 13/04/2019 18:07

@Misskitty86 I haven't heard back yet. I also did it Monday.

Hi, Link above for the 'Qmee' app where you get paid for short surveys--we get 50p each if you use the link.

justtheonethen · 13/04/2019 19:22

I actually did that 202 Appen task. Jesus it was shit but I had nothing else to do so 🤷🏼‍♀️

StrippingTheVelvet · 13/04/2019 19:43

Hi, I hope I can join! I'm trying to make as much money as I can for fertility treatment next year! I've been making good money on Prolific so far (about £80 in 2months). I've also do Qmee but getting really fed up of spending ages doing surveys only to be told it's been declined so might give up on it.

I'm going to try and sell some things on eBay as well if anyone has any tips Smile

Decemberglee · 13/04/2019 21:44

Following with interest!! Just trying to read through everything.

WheresTheCoffee · 14/04/2019 08:31

This thread is amazing, thank you so much for sharing! I'm signed up with Shoppix and Appen, does anyone have a link to the Crisp Thinking test please? Flowers

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 14/04/2019 09:21

Can anyone explain briefly how Shoppix works please|?

Frenchdoors1 · 14/04/2019 09:40

Hi. I installed Shoppix recently.
You can take a picture of most receipts with the camera on the app. No more than 7 days old.

You get points soon as you sign up and scratchcards where you rub the card on the screen Grin
And get more points. Just read how to use it when it's downloaded-really easy to do. Then when you have so many points you can send to PayPal or have gift cards.

LittleGreenLights · 14/04/2019 10:50

I intend to contract directly with Appen as an independent contractor.
I intend to contract with Appen through my own registered business.

Which one is it? Is it a right hassle to join Appen?

LittleGreenLights · 14/04/2019 10:51

"Attach your business profile or your resume/CV"

Oh man I have to upload my CV? They really want to know everything about you, hmm...

Otterses · 14/04/2019 10:59

@LittleGreenLights well, yeah Grin they do. It is a job after all. I think they mainly look to make sure you haven't/aren't currently working for competitors though. I've never been directly asked about anything on my CV.

OP posts:
Otterses · 14/04/2019 11:00

@LittleGreenLights and independent contractor. You're going to need to register as self employed.

I got an email today from Cloudworker asking if I want to take my application further. Reading about it though (especially the hours they want you to do) it is not for me.

I got a £5 Amazon code from Shopprize today plus £5 into paypal from Receipt Hog. I made £2.30 on free spins on Buzz bingo too. I also made £23 yesterday from matched betting.

I am reasonably happy with matched betting so far. I am still taking it pretty slowly but have made over £80 profit so far.

I am going to apply to Lionbridge and will apply to Appen again.

Frenchdoors1 · 14/04/2019 17:11

Silly question time.. Blush

All these apps that I have downloaded make my phone go a bit slower.
Am I right in needing to buy an sd card for more storage??

namechangedforanon · 14/04/2019 17:17

Fiddlesticks you should be up over 600 if you have done the matched betting welcome offers properly ( as per Team Profits free plan)

I'd have a read of that and check you're up to speed x

BoltMosaic · 14/04/2019 17:46

Can anyone please tell me how long it took them from being accepted onto project Nile to having their rating tool activated?

Thanks

margaritasbythesea · 14/04/2019 18:31

A month for me, boltmosaic

Octopus37 · 14/04/2019 18:57

Yay, just passed the Crisp test, 19 out of 20. Think it was my 7th attempt. Had to share, dont manage to achieve anything very often lol

Otterses · 14/04/2019 18:58

OP posts:
Octopus37 · 14/04/2019 19:08

fiddie · 14/04/2019 19:13

Anyone else still waiting on Crisp? I've been on the waiting list for two months and haven't heard anything yet.

BoltMosaic · 14/04/2019 19:21

Thanks Margaritas

I suspected as much but was hoping the next part of the process might have been quicker!
