When the payrise/promotion announcements appear on Facebook, is it just me who wants to shout "if another company (even one you are 'partnered' with) determines you payrise and your promotion, then it is not your own business and you are not an entrepreneur!"?

It's like Scientology auditing.

I can give myself a pyrise by working more! The one advantage of genuine self employemnt (at times!)

I can do this without posting my SA302's online and showing how much i earn, showing a photo of my client after each meeting, without taking a photo of a Starbucks and without levergaing myself to the t*ts.

It truly is so crass!

Yawn did a live from the new product centre and the revamp is proof that the company is on the way up.

There is no denying that as a company Forever are doing well, not in the UK though where the UK company has seen profits drop like a stone the past two years.

Anyone know if this "finding yourself" type programme that Roomie has just trained to be an "activator" in is some sort of MLM?

Bits I've read on their fb page talks about "certification training", "Professional Activators" and other such lingo that actually means nothing IYSWIM. Also there's a fair bit of love-bombing.

No doubt the week long training programme cost a fortune but with no formal qualification from what I can see.

You just become suspicious of everything bots get involved with TBH especially with the sort of redflags I've mentioned.

It is a very speculative way top trade, you don't acutally hold stock you take a position on if you think a currency will go up or down (futures, binding) forwards similar but not binding and on the spot trading.

The upside is significant if you get it right or lucky, however the downside is potnetially infinite. I have seen very astute analysts lose their shirts with Forex. You'd be safer day trading penny stocks on the AIM and that is saying something.

For the untrained it is a recipe to lose money.

Very interesting post here from a vulnerable bot who was massively scammed by Wig and Sleaze in 2017. She then went onto coffee (the one with Lipbot) and then onto TS Lies.

I don’t have that much sympathy for her seeing as she is constantly trying to recruit knowing that she’s making nothing (but pretending to make loads. But this post compares her new company to TS Lies and says that she hadn’t been paid since November. Check it out.

She’s one of many bots who seem to have left this year.

Just been watching season 5 of Brooklyn 99 on Netflix (American comedy cop show for those who don't know it) Andy one of the guest characters in one episode of was a rep for NutriBoom - it was not a positive portrayal of an MLM (though obviously it was light touch, play for comedy not hard hitting exposé). The fact that you can just casually have an MLM pisstake as part of a side character in a programme does show that people are getting wise to them.

Ha, I was watching that yesterday. BOOM BOOM!

Last season of Orange is the New Black also took the piss out of MLM. The bot in that show ended up using the products to smuggle herion into the jail!

Does Yawn honestly think that throwing in the occasional "Look at me! I love animals/I'm so charitable" post makes up for her scamming and emotionally manipulating people out of their £200 and then continuing to string them along with false promises whilst they get deeper into debt all for her own benefit?

The Brooklyn 99 bot had a line that was roughly "our script normally assumes there will be more resistance" when he is surprised by someone signing up for loads of stock. Which seemed to neatly encapsulated how bots work!

Yawn is taking a keen interest in animal charities, the cynic in me thinks she will suddenly say she is ramping down her FL business and going to work with animals!

acatcalledjohn I didn't realise there was a whole NutriBoom episode of Brooklyn99! I have only watched the Halloween episode where it first appears so far... looking forward to seeing what they do with it in the later episode.
