By the way to the poster who is completing the Versal course for Crisp, yes you have to complete each module. You move be able to move on until you complete each one in order.

I have had good luck with ohmydosh but not seen anything new for a while.

Also had the easiest income from Cleo, where we both get £5 if you sign up using this link www.meetcleo.com/referrals?code=cleo-a4nV5C

It's definitely worth signing up and getting friends and family to do it too. And the app is also quite useful too!

BlockRockinBeats · 22/03/2019 15:57

Thanks @Bbub I am half way through the Crisp training. How long did it take you to do?

LizB62A · 22/03/2019 16:13

Just in case it helps anyone, I checked my credit report free of charge on the Money Saving Expert Credit Club and found that I had a dormant credit card that I'd forgotten about which was £55 in credit.
It only took a few minutes on the phone and they've transferred the £55 back to my bank account Smile

(I used to have loads of credit cards back when there were lots of good 0% spending deals, and clearly forgot to close this one down !)

Bbub · 22/03/2019 17:53

@BlockRockinBeats I had to do it in a few different sittings as i found it quite hard to concentrate after about 2 modules. Probably an hour overall as there are quite a few sections.

You're nearly there though!

Otterses · 23/03/2019 08:57

Morning everyone!

I saw this, and thought it may be of interest.

I don't trust this estimated earnings tool on Crisp 🤣

I did 100 ads this morning ... valued at 6p.

Otterses · 24/03/2019 07:50

Not ads! Content 😂 I've clearly got Nile on the brain.

reddA · 24/03/2019 09:25

Morning all :) It's very quiet - are we all busy earning? I know what you mean about the dashboard @Otterses, I wish it was up to date as I'm sure it would make me work faster, I need to do more on it, I've been very lazy the last few days Blush I need to email my queries through too as there are still a few that I'm not sure about. Have a lovely sunny Sunday everyone :)

Frenchdoors1 · 24/03/2019 12:39

Good Afternoon reddA otterses and everyone else on here.
Thanks to the poster who suggested Nectar Canvass.
I've got nearly 500 nectar points since I started just over a week ago. I've had a nectar card for years and didn't know about this.
When you download the Nectar App it shows the points you've accumulated from Canvass and obviously from your shopping.

Fizzyboo · 24/03/2019 13:27

I still have no idea how to invoice for crisp... I can't get into the wiki

Otterses · 24/03/2019 15:59

@reddA ticking over! I've been away this week, so not been 'on it' like I have been. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in this week.

How's everyone been getting on?

Otterses · 24/03/2019 18:07

I feel I've fallen off the wagon a bit these last few weeks! So I'm setting clear aims for this coming week.

. 1 hour of Leapforce a day
. 3 hours of crisp a day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
. No spend this week! Other than milk, and bus fare Thursday and Friday. I'm also quite skint after our unexpected week away, so it'll be nice to claw a bit back.
. I'd also really like to explore doing market research, you've all had some fantastic ones, I'm clearly missing out!

Bar traveling to work, and milk for DS - we don't 'need' anything. And I desperately need to clear the freezer before we move. It's absolutely packed Blush

How is everyone getting on?

reddA · 24/03/2019 18:17

@Fizzyboo, if you message me your email address I can send you the PDF for invoicing until you can get onto WIKI, another slow day today due to visitors, tomorrow won't be much better due to physio in the morning. Have had a few prolific surveys recently so that's building up nicely and another £5 in panelbase, I'm doing yougov again and Newsvista but they take a while so hopefully a Christmas saving plan [santa]

Fizzyboo · 24/03/2019 20:57

Thanks @reddA Smile

reddA · 24/03/2019 21:06

Sent it through - there are two, ones for Paypal the other for bank I think, I've not invoiced yet (need to do some more work first Blush)

Fizzyboo · 24/03/2019 23:15

Thanks @reddA... crisp say they resent but nada, not even in junk. Have messaged them again

Otterses · 25/03/2019 06:59

Blush so I haven't been checking my emails properly it seems ...

I've won another £40 of vouchers on the Nappy study I was doing. Which while it's not going to be money 'saved' it now means there's enough in my amazon account to order DS's bed, duvet, pillow, mattress, bedding, wall stickers, and bookshelves for his new room. I'm chuffed to bits with that Smile

catsmother · 25/03/2019 08:42

Is anyone else's application to Appen still 'in progress'?

I applied to Nile over a month ago now and it's still showing on the available projects page. I also applied for a couple of others - Tigris and Saluda I think - which were acknowledged by email but then disappeared altogether from the project page.

Would be very grateful if anyone coukd advise re: typical response times.

HaventGotAllDay · 25/03/2019 09:13

Catsmother- I have 6 Appen projects showing as in progress. I am guessing that if they disappear from your list it means they've been filled but you've not been accepted. I don't know though. I think I applied for all of mine about 3-4 weeks ago.

catsmother · 25/03/2019 09:28

Thank you @HaventGotallDay .... I guessed as much Sad

I've unfortunately not had any other potential projects come up for me (apart from those initial 3 including Nile) as all the others I've seen require iOS devices which I don't have.

Otterses · 25/03/2019 09:36

@catsmother I've got about 8 in progress I think! The thing is, what you're waiting for is 'space' on the project. So Nile is a great example of this, most people aren't renewed after a year, which then opens up spaces for you to fill. They keep your application for three months I think, then if you don't get on it, you just press qualify again to let them know you're still interested if a space comes up Smile I know it's annoying, but just be patient. It's a great earner once you get onto something.

A LOT of projects do require an Apple device at the moment I'm afraid Sad if you're a bit fed up of waiting have you applied to lionbridge?

reddA · 25/03/2019 11:58

@catsmother - exactly the same with mine although Nile and Saluda disappeared I just have tigris pending, I've stopped checking it now tbh

HaventGotAllDay · 25/03/2019 12:46

Lionbridge is still driving me nuts. I am blocked on the skills page, but then on Saturday I got a notification, project you may be interested in blabla so tried to apply....it takes you to a "new application wizard " thing but if you put in your Lionbridge email, it tells you email already on use (hello!!!! Yes!!! That would be me, with my existing Lionbridge account!!!) So you can't take the application further.
I have googled how to get away from the skills things- but no idea. One of them is Chinese!

VanGoghsDog · 25/03/2019 13:59

Well, I shared my Bulb referral code in a FB group and someone has used it 5 times (£250 - nearly half my energy usage for the year), so that's me done for the month!

Not had anything back from Crisp.

On top of my full time job I have my own consultancy and I only need 6 hours a month to meet the £300 extra, I've done loads this month - just need to invoice my clients now!

FloofenHoofen · 25/03/2019 14:55

I would just like to clarify something about Appen.
I've noticed people saying they've applied to things and then it's disappeared off their progress list. Well it does not mean you are not eligible or that it's filled, it doesn't mean you've been rejected either. Sometimes they do disappear and you can't track the progress, it doesn't mean it hasn't been acknowledged.

For example, I qualified for Index a little while ago now, and then Cable popped up and I applied for it, as soon as I did, it disappeared off my list. However, two weeks later, I was unexpectedly added to project Cable, so now I have two projects I work.

So they are there. Don't give up hope.
