Anti MLM/ Network marketing thread NUMBER 43!!

Spongebobette · 29/09/2018 18:17

This is the 43rd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

How did you see things when you were 'in thrall', though, Dora - if you remember?

I'm wondering if Mrs Stickman has seen the light.

Her 2 week break from social media has gone beyond 2 weeks so maybe she's lying low until everyone forgets her "business" venture.

I hope so as I don't think she was cut out for the criticism MLMs attract. She should be spending time with her baby not sucking up to Yawn, spamming the local fb selling pages and trying to sell and recruit at every opportunity.

Spongebobette · 15/10/2018 21:08

I really really hope she’s seen the light, @Ohmygodtheykilledkenny. No new mum should put herself under pressure like that

I really hope so too. I hope Yawn has left her alone and not kept badgering her too.

DownThePan · 15/10/2018 22:18

Is Yawn lying about her new teamies? She hasn't tagged anyone in a couple of recent updates declaring "I'm so excited to help this mum earn money from home" which makes me think it's a lie and she's just trying to seem busy.

Norma27 · 16/10/2018 07:46

Surely yawn would never lie? She has far too many morals for that surely.
Also, she has never been caught out lying before?!!!

Norma27 · 16/10/2018 07:47

I really hope Mrs stickman has seen the light too. She is going back to her JOB soon so hope she enjoys her last few months of maternity forever free. And that yawn leaves her alone to enjoy her child.

Spongebobette · 16/10/2018 09:59

I think she will leave her alone if , after a couple of ‘motivational’ profs, Mrs Stickman doesn’t start bringing in the money for Yawn
Yawn knows how to get the initial payment out of her newbies, then how to get them to spend more on products and if they don’t turn into a steady income stream for her she drops them and moves in on fresh blood

Spongebobette · 16/10/2018 10:21

Therefore if you look at Yawn’s life over the last couple of years it’s like Groundhog Day.

So true sponge. She soon drops them if they don’t earn her enough

Spongebobette · 16/10/2018 10:29

*prods not profs!

Nobody is going to earn her enough as especially those right at the bottom of the pyramid are not going to be able to bring in any money. They aren't going to be able to recruit, Yawn is screwed, as is FLP UK.

Norma27 · 16/10/2018 13:23

I love that yawn commented on a post yesterday about a holiday somewhere amazing but was waiting to see if she had a big bonus cheque.
I thought she could afford to retire a few months ago. Surely an amazing holiday could be paid for now.

Electrascoffee · 16/10/2018 14:13

Why are MLM people all obsessed with the law of attraction?

DownThePan · 16/10/2018 14:42

Was Law of Attraction developed specifically by/for MLMers or does it exist elsewhere? Had never heard of it until I started stalking following Bots

9dartfinish2nd · 16/10/2018 16:09

The Law of Attraction is an integral part of the MLM brainwashing process. Bots are told that positive thinking attracts success and negative thoughts will cause you to fail. Gives the senior bots the perfect comeback for when lowly bots invariably fail, blaming it on themselves for not having the right mindset etc.......nothing whatsoever to do with the horrendously flawed business model.

Spongebobette · 16/10/2018 16:42

Funny that. All I feel is The Law of Repulsion when I look at them 🤣

Years ago I had a flatmate who was very into the law of attraction (wasn’t an mlm-er though). He had a mood board with photos of expensive cars, luxury houses and a fake cheque for a million pounds. He used to sit and meditate in front of it most evenings in the belief that that would make it come true. Hasn’t worked yet (10 years on.) I wonder if he’s still trying.

It’s the same thing that Noel Edmonds believes in
