MLM Bot Watch 42

Spongebobette · 18/08/2018 12:09

This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

I agree with the sentiment about the lack of info out there about TS Life. If anyone wants to write a word document with pictures/ links/ back up evidence, I would be happy to post it on Bot Watch as a guest post. Anonymously or otherwise. Or just send me the details you think should be included and I could write it. Although I’m a bit pressed for time at the moment with the school holidays.

Salon's house is listed for sale on rightmove. She's shared the link on some facebook buy and sell pages.

According to one of her posts it's in a 'Quiet culdesack' which is fantastic.

It's listed for £35k more than the house next door sold for last year, so it will be interesting to see if it gets close to what she has listed it for.

More interesting to me is why she is selling, she doesn't appear to have bragged anywhere about buying a new bigger place with her immense wealth.

LMMontmomery · 29/08/2018 11:00

Hi all, I have a friend who is selling Tropic Skincare, is that an MLM? I have searched the boards and can't see anything on it? Thankyou!

Spongebobette · 29/08/2018 12:09

I wonder if the moving abroad for a lengthy period has anything to do with tax?
I am a bit ignorant on tax issues, perhaps someone on here knows more?

Corporation Tax I think is a lot lower - 4%. So there are implications for moving there - but you need to offset it against the inevitable downturn that wil happen in the business. I bet they move back around April next year when they realise that they have no future. I think they have been guided by tax advisers on this move and the premise that you can work from anywhere but in reality can't.

Spongebobette · 29/08/2018 13:50

Hmm there's a lot of profit in the planners they sell; they presumably can be posted out by their partner in the UK, leaving Castle and hubby to continue to use social media in an attractive location to promote themselves and to keep their downlines in order.

Very interesting.....

Whiterangey · 29/08/2018 17:49

There is not a lot of profit in the planners, and both directors owe the company money.

Given that it will be mostly her team buying them and her team are getting smaller and smaller, i'm guessing the planner business is suffering.

SSDGM · 29/08/2018 17:58

Tropic is an MLM. It positions itself as “all natural”. It’s as crappy as the rest of them.

SSDGM · 29/08/2018 18:02

Absolutely SCREAMING at a post on the “Seems like MLM “makeup artists” aren’t actually qualified but ok” FB Page. A bot has posted side by side pics of her tattooed arm and the “amazing coverage” the Younique Foundation she has used to cover the tattoos in the next pic looks like actual peanut butter. No attempt to blend it at all. How do they actually sell this stuff? It’s completely yellow!

acatcalledjohn · 29/08/2018 18:15

Live vid on FB by one of Messiah's disciples just finished.

At 8:50 she says "I will just sit back and..."

...watch you all plough your money in to mine and Messiah's bank accounts, you gullible fucks.

That's if you can read what she means.

So many words and so little substance. But at 00:01 on Saturday (launch party is Fri night) the lines will open and she will place a bulk order for all her customers, and get her entire team enrolled.

She knows damn well that she is scamming people, but money matters more to her.

Whiterangey · 29/08/2018 18:18

Actually yellow foundation is the best foundation for some skin conditions, there are 100 different skin types that need different foundations, and if you have certain skin conditions, like eczema, a yellow foundation is the best for you.

I just made that all up as I know absolutely nothing about any kind of makeup, yet I could join Poonique and become a MUA and spout made up bullcrap to sell shitty makeup.

I do have experience with blemish covering cosmetics. Given on the NHS to cover a birthmark. They make them up for you to your skin colour and you slap it on, cover it with a powder and it does not come off until you want it off. It would work for tattoos as well. I'm sure the NHS are just stoopid and should be using Poonique instead though. Also the person who had the birthmark used the makeup twice and then kind of got bored and said the birthmark was part of them and continues to rock the birthmark to this day.

Whiterangey · 29/08/2018 18:24

I'm half looking forward to the shit show that will be just past midnight on Saturday and have feeling sick knowing how many women are about to get ripped off.

It's going to be something, that i'm sure of.

BangingOn · 29/08/2018 18:45

Have people parted with actual money for TS Life pre-orders yet?

MLMsuperfan · 29/08/2018 18:47

Brokebot has done the "I'm stopping recruiting, just supporting my team" bit three MLMs ago (about six months ago).

Translation: he's not getting enough profit out of it to justify the time, but he doesn't want to cut off the little income that he has built up.

He'll be shopping around for the next MLM now. Remember in the last 12 months he's done two coffee companies, a "travel" company (never sold a single break) and two CBD oil companies. What's next for Broke?

acatcalledjohn · 29/08/2018 18:49

What's next for Broke?

TS Life Grin

Sean1984 · 29/08/2018 19:22

Dont forgot the life assurance that he wqs pedalling !!

BangingOn · 29/08/2018 20:03

Have I imagined Messiah and Broke having a history?

acatcalledjohn · 29/08/2018 21:15

I'm pretty sure here is some history but I cannot remember the ins and outs. Pretty sure Broke hates Messiah.

ArbunneHun · 29/08/2018 21:22

They TOTALLY have a history. Broke called him out for the “million dollar cheque” and the “my castle” thing. They both had a bit of a Cold War where they posted very pass agg statuses that were clearly about each other. And then Broke had a massive “I told you so” gloat when Messiah was terminated by Vida.

BangingOn · 29/08/2018 21:39

Thanks Arbunne, probably no danger of Broke turning to mint choc shakes in that case. Then again, nothing would surprise me anymore!

ArbunneHun · 29/08/2018 21:56

If you are looking for a terrible read, two bots who have moved into coaching have self-published a book. It’s truly dreadful, and you can download a big chunk of it for free as a Kindle preview. One is/was a Valentus ‘Diamond’.

They call themselves the ‘Femalepreneurs’

acatcalledjohn · 29/08/2018 22:49

Christ. I've just skimmed a bit of that download and will read it properly later.

What I've read so far is, erm, utter shite. And that's me being kind.

If there even was a proofreader then I can safely say they were blind drunk at the time of proofing it.

Whiterangey · 29/08/2018 23:31

@ArbunneHun April Fools Day was a few months ago.

Did they actually write all of that or did they just get a random word generator to do it?

I just got really confused, I thought one of them was gay due to the use of the word femme in her facebook title. I honestly haven't seen Femme used by someone without them using it to describe their sexuality for ages. Then in a photo she has a male partner.

ArbunneHun · 30/08/2018 06:25

Utter garbage, isn’t it? And they’re charging £9 for that... interesting that the Valentus Ex-Diamond tells of how her £100k business disappeared overnight last year. At least that bit is true.

ArbunneHun · 30/08/2018 09:24

The ex-Valentus Diamond bragged about how they’d written this masterpiece in days. Like that was a good thing.

It shows hun. It really shows.
