This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

They've also moved there under the premise that they want their son to learn a language, fair enough, but that would have been something you'd decided and planned ages ago, not a week before September! Panic stations me thinks!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 27/08/2018 12:10

Has Bruv's move to London been an equally sudden decision?

Their house is listed to rent...over £2000 a month!

Surely you wouldn't take your furniture if you were only going for a year, you'd rent somewhere furnished??

BangingOn · 27/08/2018 17:48

Do they definitely own their current house?

BangingOn · 27/08/2018 17:53

Local state school has an Ofsted Good, although there is one locally which Requires Improvement. Nearest school to that house is actually a private school but I’m sure she’d have made it very obvious if he was going there.

The house last sold in 2016 and I can’t see it being up for rent since, so answering my own question it does look like theirs. The rent seems very high but the mortgage must be to as it last sold for £700,000.

JaniceBattersby · 27/08/2018 17:57

There’s something odd going on, definitely. Another relatively high profile bot I know moved abroad very suddenly about eight or nine months ago. The arse has totally fallen out of her business and she’s gone from a seemingly big income and a large downline to fuck all overnight. Big cheque last year, no cheque this year.

I think she thought she was going to move out there and recruit a load more people in the untapped market but it doesn’t seem like it’s gone that way for her. I feel a bit sorry for her actually. She seems like a nice but quite dim person and she has very young children. She’s now isolated herself in a foreign country and has no income to speak of.

Castlebot is certainly up to something.

CodLiverOil556 · 27/08/2018 19:06

@JaniceBattersby was that Lanza-bot? She was my friends up line

BSintolerant · 27/08/2018 20:09

One of my spies informed me that Lazagrotty was saturated with FL bots. After a while Lanzabot lost a lot of her managers and business dried up. Wonder what's going on there?

Saw someone mentioned salon and her delivery a while back, this logo looks very familiar even if the products aren't shown very well...... no denying it I reckon Grin

So CastleBot obviously can't afford the private school fees and couldn't possibly share a picture on FB of her sons first day at school dressed in a supermarket uniform when her downline was expecting a swish uniform from a private school, peaked cap and all...where DID her £300 grand go?

Paddy1234 · 27/08/2018 23:14

It still leaves me utterly flabber-ghasted that there is a FL manager training event on the 29th September and they have to pay for training. The managers are the back bone to their business and they are treated with so much contempt that they have to pay for this training. However so very happy that the MD post has only one like. Let's face it, it is regurgitated crap just wrapped up differently.

CodLiverOil556 · 28/08/2018 07:46

Surely castle wouldn't up root her whole life just because of the private school thing?!

JaniceBattersby · 28/08/2018 08:39

No kermit, this was someone different. She’s not in Lanza but somewhere else in mainland Europe. She seems genuinely nice. Her downline has been decimated. It appears she’s gone from about 40 to 4 in the space of two years. Her income must be negligible.

It does look like end days for FL in the UK. While feeling incredibly glad about this. I do feel for all the victims who have given up full time jobs and houses etc for the company that fed them all a total con.

Teddy1970 · 28/08/2018 08:54

Yes, the chickens are coming home to roost and I do feel sorry for the ones that were conned out of money on the promise of big rewards, I don't know how the top bots sleep at night I really don't.

Whiterangey · 28/08/2018 13:45

I'm going to guess that if anyone's income suddenly fell by over half, or even more, that you would be very broke, very quickly, especially if you weren't in to saving and had to pretend you are a billionaire.

They don't have any business sense, none of them as far as I can see. They are either broke and just holding on by their fingertips, or can see financial ruin heading their way. No sympathy for them.

RogueApostrophe · 28/08/2018 14:38

I'm really saddened to see that one of the school mums who is on my Facebook has joined TS Life! She's never been into MLM and I've tried to do some digging on her profile to see how she's got tangled in this. She's offering 1 week of the shake at £20, seems ridiculously pricey especially when you look at the monthly price.

Any tips on info I can send her? I know the CEO is not fondly spoken of on here but can't find anything online to send her to warn her off. I guess so far she's only invested a fiver in it from what I can tell but the cringey posts are already coming thick and fast and it'll only amplify once they launch next week.

Whiterangey · 28/08/2018 15:16

There isn't really any info other than what is on the website and on various facebook pages belonging to Messiah and his bots.

There is currently no business, it's in pre-launch. Money is exchanging hands but none of the bots have held a product, or tasted a product, or tried a product. The only people who have held the product is Messiah as far as I know.

For all we know very TS-Life could be the real thing and we may have greatly misjudged the Messiah and this is the start of a business that will genuinely change the lives of many women and bring about prosperity and self-esteem for all. We could be jumping over ourselves to apologise and trying to get in.

The less information and less educated on what they are getting into that people are, the easier it is to manipulate them.

MrsFrankDrebin · 28/08/2018 16:40

As a latecomer to this thread (after reading Elle Beau's blog that was linked to on an AIBU thread) I have to say I'm flipping confused with all the nicknames such as Yawn!

It feels like everyone's talking in a language I don't understand. If this isn't a silly question (apologies if I've missed a legal bit anywhere!) is there a reason why seasoned posters don't or can't explain/link to nicknames in the course of the thread? I'd just like to know what on earth everyone's talking about with the nickname code! Blush

One thing's for sure, I'm grateful that the logistic limitations of where I live mean that MLMs aren't really 'a thing' here - we're far too limited a captive population. And right now I'm quite grateful for that because the whole thing sounds hideous and devastating for those who get sucked in with false promises. Sad

notsurewhatshappening · 28/08/2018 18:51

I would like to know the identities of the nicknamed bots too please. It's too hard to follow what's going on without!

SSDGM · 28/08/2018 19:27

So Broke is no longer recruiting for his teams. They’re all snakes, Hun. He’s just selling his magic oil. Apparently he doesn’t have to worry because he’s a 1%er. He has got the gift or something.

Yes Broke, ok.

cozietoesie · 28/08/2018 23:15

I'm afraid that people have to post on this thread......carefully. There have been threats of legal action - from the firms involved - so real names can not really be used. (This applies also to private messaging whose status the MN policy makes clear.) You'll see that posters 'scrub' real names from pictures or screenshots that they proffer.
