MLM Bot Watch 42

Spongebobette · 18/08/2018 12:09

This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Oh crikey Moses - just read the comments of what Messiah has posted - genuinely bizzare.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 20/08/2018 23:02

Messiah's post reads like he is high. I can imagine him stuffing his face to deal with the munchies with monster munch and lucozade as he is ranting.

Spongebobette · 20/08/2018 23:04

any minute he and his band of huns will be heading to a ranch in Texas to barricade themselves in

Don’t drink the mint choc Kool Aid!

acatcalledjohn · 20/08/2018 23:24

Holy fuck, that status is one big cult fest. It's sounds genuinely quite scary and a bit like the early stages of something rather Manson-esque.

Although the highlight is where one sheep has tagged another, who's responded with "what what what", to be told to "read Messiah state beauts" to which the confused response is "sorry state?"

The man is indeed a very sorry state Grin

Just a shame the herd are so keen to be "apart" of that.

Whiterangey · 21/08/2018 00:18

Salon is planning to sell her house.

Whiterangey · 21/08/2018 00:22

Meant to add, does anyone know what happened with trading standards?

BangingOn · 21/08/2018 06:37

“To the side of light”?!

Arbunne I have been wondering about Messiah’s flat for a while and have come to the conclusion it is a rented flat with one main room- kitchen/living/diner and a bedroom or two. I also assume they are renting furnished.

Again, nothing wrong with any of that, unless you are misleading people with an illusion of lifestyle to sell your mint choc shake salvation.

ArbunneHun · 21/08/2018 07:38

@BangingOn: the furnishings are hideous. This is a man who claimed to own 5 or six properties around the world: so why is he living in this gold brocade hell?

Unless - and this purely supposition - he had to leave the castle when the Vida money stopped because he couldn’t afford the rent, he barely had any savings (let alone the global property portfolio he bragged about) and this is the best he could manage? No wonder his Total Shite hype posts are sounding increasingly desperate and unhinged. He really needs the cash.

Paddy1234 · 21/08/2018 07:56

Oh god don't shoot me down but I like the sofa and may just have one similar in my drawing room 😂

ArbunneHun · 21/08/2018 08:11

@Paddy YOU ARE DEAD TO ME Wink

ArbunneHun · 21/08/2018 08:14

Interesting news about Salon, @Whiterangey. I wonder what’s happening there? I know she’s using her post-baby diet to promote the weight loss power of Valentus, but I’ve seen/heard nothing else.

fitgirl26 · 21/08/2018 10:45

Well you're not going to believe this huns but Broke's Ex and her loyal sidekick (and sworn enemy of Wig) Welshbot have been let down by the weight loss coffee they were flogging as the best thing ever. And guess what? Go on guess! Yes - THEY'VE FOUND ANOTHER WEIGHT LOSS COFFEE AND IT'S TRULY THE BEST THING EVER! 🙄

Happypuppy · 21/08/2018 11:05

But Welshbot is now looking for a part time job if things don’t work out. Grin

fitgirl26 · 21/08/2018 11:38

And Broke's Ex was also looking for a part time J.O.B not so long ago and refused point blank to consider volunteering even though she kept saying NWM paid for her and her daughters' lifestyle. Plus selling her trophy car and flogging all the unsold products from the previous BEST THING EVER MLMs she has been involved in.

acatcalledjohn · 21/08/2018 12:11

It's that moment where you think they've seen the light but realise they haven't.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...

ArbunneHun · 21/08/2018 12:48

I heard that Broke’s Ex had gone back to Valentus. I can’t imagine Salon & Co would welcome her back with open arms, but this is MLM we’re talking about so who the hell knows????

CheekySmile · 21/08/2018 13:29

This is the latest communication I’ve had with Stoke Trading Standards, last month.

“We now believe all sales within Stoke-on-Trent have largely stopped.

On a national level the Food Standards Agency raised this issue with their Canadian counterparts and as a result a number of UK based businesses are now no longer supplied by Valentus.”

If anyone has evidence that shows this isn’t the case I’d be happy to forward it on to TS.

Spongebobette · 21/08/2018 15:02

It makes me sad to think of all the women who have spare rooms/ garages full of Valentus coffee that they bought in order to qualify for 'promotions' and which they now cannot sell legally.
What a bloody waste, all they did was line the pockets of Salon and her ilk.

OP posts:
ArbunneHun · 21/08/2018 15:43

Valentus is still being widely promoted. Indeed, Welsh Bot just posted asking local salons and nail bars whether they wanted to sell it to their customers. And Broke’s Ex just signed up (again) and she lives in Stoke...

Whiterangey · 21/08/2018 16:32

Salon received a delivery a while ago, but the products were half hidden, you can tell they are Valentus products but someone could also put up an argument that they aren't.

BangingOn · 21/08/2018 19:41

@ArbunneHun there are some really strategic angles going on in those photos too, but the more you look at them the more you realise it’s essentially a big studio flat.

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 21/08/2018 19:58

@notgotapenny I remember that feeling well...the upline "checking in" to tell you you need to do more, sell more product, get more people in the pipeline

acatcalledjohn · 21/08/2018 21:11

My PT randomly mentioned he'd been convinced by a client to go to a Herbalife convention a few years ago. It was meant to be several hours long but a few minutes in, at the first sound of "these pills are magic beans", he walked out.

This client had contacted him after a long time to get some more PT support. He was told that was fine, but he as long as there was no mention of Herbalife.

Guess who showed up after my session in a bright blue branded Herbashite t-shirt Grin

cozietoesie · 21/08/2018 21:28

I received an uncalled-for comment from my DSis today. On mentioning 'MLM's - which I never have before - she immediately said something along the lines of 'Oh, that's those pyramid scheme organisations, isn't it?' Smile
