MLM Bot Watch 38 - Large cheques are not forever

I think the members of the Anti-MLM Coalition in the UK deserves to be recognised for the reduced cheques that have been received by the Forever Living bots in the UK.

They have worked tirelessly to spread the Anti-MLM message which seemed like a pointless battle when they started.

Yet here we are, the message is getting out there, and people are beginning to get the message.

People are listening. Ex-bots are telling their stories and encouraging others to leave or not to join MLM's.

You are all awesome and have worked so hard, you deserve so much respect for helping so many people.

Yawn posted on her new bot's business page that she'd love to speak more with the bot's friends. Isn't the point of a down line to build up layers of business rather than poaching clients from them?

@moose it would be to get them to join her bots business so she can get a manager leg ASAP

I've got a question for the posters here...

What made you decide to leave your mlm? Was there a particular moment when you thought you didn't want to do it anymore, or was it gradual?

Mine was when I felt myself starting to speak to everyone I met with an agenda. Like I was sussing them out or something. Almost laying the ground. In effect I was not being myself and being incredibly disingenuous. I decided I was being someone I didn't like. Then it made me take a step back and really consider everything. And then I left.

Today was day two of the launch. No details, no photos, nothing about the people who turned up or even where it was, nothing at all.

Just new bot saying it was a successful two day launch. 4 people showed up yesterday, i'd take a guess that at least 1 was a family member going by looks, maybe more. They will have made a pity purchase, maybe a lip balm or really pushed the boat out and got a hand sanitiser.

I'm guessing nobody turned up today.

I do wonder how Yawn's marriage is going and why she wanted to travel all the way to Norfolk on a bank holiday weekend when the weather is lovely to launch a business where 4 people turned up.

I can remember reading on Pink Truth about people having launch parties and nobody would turn up. Or having open houses for Christmas or just because and literally nobody would show.

Yawn doesn't usually travel for launch parties does she?

If she wants to break into Norfolk, she's got Norfolkinchance.

I feel so sorry for that new Norfolk bot and I wish someone could warn her!
She’s bought quite a lot of stock, judging by the series of photos she’s posted.
No doubt she’s being love bombed and told she’s heading for an amazing business, which is very seductive. She’s clearly under pressure to recruit team members because that’s what Yawn needs.
Just keep track of what you are spending, new bot!!!

Thanks everyone for the advice on Wig. I think my lovely friend is too far into her MLM cultish thinking to be rational, but at least I can try.

I really think FL is on a rapid decline in the U.K. as people just will not accept paying double the price (compared to health shops) and double the waiting time in the internet age. Here’s hoping!

Can someone enlighten me on who wig and sleaze are? I've been blocked by yawn twice now as I was on the timeless vie page. She's getting desperate by the sounds of it...I actually feel a twinge of pity but then I remember how many people she's trodden on to get those cheques in previous years. The sooner MLM is made illegal the better IMO

I feel full blown pity for them, ILove - ie more than a 'twinge'. (As I would for any cult member.) I just don't let that affect my actions.

Having been a long time lurker on these boards, there seems to be little doubt that many MLM companies have a sect/cult-like effect on some who become involved. I don’t think this tells the whole story, however. I can’t help but think there are quite a lot of people, especially the ones who seem to do well out of it, who really just aren’t very pleasant people. The only way one can really succeed with the bigger MLMs in particular is to be ruthless and callous. No half-decent human being could, for the long-haul, exploit their friends and family, especially when they get to the level (or height in the pyramid) where they’ve seen “behind the curtain” and understand the highly exploitative nature of the business they promote and benefit from.

I’ve also seen, especially on social media, after some of these “high ups” have left MLM, that they still hold obnoxious views and still don’t come across as nice people. I was pretty shocked a few days ago to encounter a well known former FL bot shamelessly peddling a deeply antisemitic meme, which was both highly offensive and obnoxious. Even after someone else pointed out the horrible and upsetting nature of this meme, the FL bot continued to make nasty and odious comments below the meme. It’s things like this that are inclined to make me think that whilst a good percentage of those who get caught up in MLM are true victims, just as many bots are unkind, unpleasant and objectionable people who just set out to abuse and hurt others.

Just looking at Uber's Facebook. She's boasting about her house being covered in fur and animal skin products. Probably made of those who didn't succeed. She has very cold eyes.

I had a colleague who became the hl poster girl for a while. Went off to Beverley hills ranches for shoots and coaching but never seemed to make money herself. She doesn't post about them anymore and I wonder what happened.

Wig is active in a few Masscryp groups I’m a member of. Apparently Sleaze’s son is seriously ill which is why he’s so amen a step back from the “business”

The fb Masscryp groups are full of ex and current bots.

Quite a few younique bots seem to have now joined limelight by Alcone obviously because they haven’t found a company who have “known their worth” before now lol

Dora a little while ago Uber was boasting about all her animal skins and furs , she did a link for Yawn who wanted to get one too (because there was an inch of untouched, uncovered space in her 17th century cottage that needed "renovating" I expect)

So meant to add to my post that Whirlygirly you have got the right person (which Dora's post will confirm I expect).

And yes she has very cold eyes, no spark whatsoever in them.

@SerenSmith - thanks for the update. Much as I loathe what Sleaze does I'm sorry to hear about his son - I know he has heart problems as Sleaze has posted about it in the past.

I’m sorry to hear about Sleaze’s son. I hope he makes a full recovery. I also hope it gives Dleaze the time & perspective to properly consider what he’s doing with his life. It’s never too late to turn things around.

@dora no shes referring to me! I posted a "rothschild conspiracy" meme and that apparently makes me anti Semitic. Clearly I am now also ruthless, and not a nice person because I called her ridiculous. I currently have no wish to retract that view. 🖒
