Anyone want to start a new club with me?

Hi,
I'm new to MN, but I love to read. I'm an English teacher, and really like discovering new books that I wouldn't have found by myself. I'm expecting my second baby in February and am not looking forward to the prospect of being away from discussions about books for a whole year... a little sad I know.

Looking at the other threads on here, it looks like you all have lots of fun reading and sharing your thoughts on the books. However, since I can't seem to see any groups that are currently looking for new members I thought I would bite the bullet and start a new one!

Anyone interested, please let me know!

Sorry for going quiet for a bit - I have been in and out of hospital for the last little while. Still no baby to show for it though! Very frustrating. He is due a week today, so hopefully not too long now.

I don't seem to have a full set of addresses still, but I suggest that we get going anyway as this has taken too long to get started now and I want to start reading (as I'm sure many of you do too).

Just in case anyone checks this thread first, I have started a new thread now that our group is up and running (hopefully!). Please post there from now on.

It is called 'February book club'.

We now have 12 members, so providing everyone has received my email/MN message and sends their book soon, this group is now closed.
