Second miscarriage in 4 months

Feeling heartbroken. Going through what I think is my second miscarriage in 4 months. TTC my first baby. I am 7 or 8 weeks.

I had a MMC in November which started off with brown spotting/bleeding. This lasted for 3 days before the red blood starting, and in that time it was diagnosed as a MMC (was 10 weeks but measuring 10)

Today I went to the toilet & when I wiped there was some pinky blood. I wiped again & it was brown.
3 hours later there is now more brown bleeding.
This is exactly how my last MC started.

I’m devastated. I can’t believe this is happening again.

Hello, I was searching online for posts and came across yours. I had a MMC in February and MC last week so similar. I hope you’re ok and I guess it was just to share my story ad incase like me you find it comforting in some way. Xxx

I’m so sorry you have experienced the same. It’s just awful. I’m now nearly 2 weeks post surgery for mine. Still feeling low emotionally.
How are you doing? I agree talking to others who have experienced the same is comforting x

Hi :) thank you it’s just awful! I feel strange I think I’m still a bit numb, this happened last time it took a while to hit me? I was so anxious with this last pregnancy something would go wrong and then it did 😞

I just desperately wanted both of the babies and all I can think about is trying again, people say when you’re ready but I’m not ‘ready’ but even less ready to not try either! Xx

@Livia515 yeah I think it can take a while for reality to hit. I think as both times I’ve been waiting for either medication or for surgery, I then felt a bit of relief when it was over. Then it was the days after I got really low.

I totally get what you mean about trying again! I’m in a rush for my period to return so I’m back to some normality. But just feel if I am lucky enough to get pregnant again, I just can’t imagine it going well

Awww yeah how many weeks were you? I waited a week From bleeding starting with first one in January but this last one it was so quick over in a day, not sure what was worse!

Yeah I’m the same my period came after about 6 weeks last time how long was yours? I’ve been to buy supplements today, back on the ttc journey 😭

I was 12wks and last time I was 10wks. Both missed miscarriages with no growth from a couple of weeks prior. How about you?

It took me 8 weeks for a period last time. I did a test today & there is still an obvious line, so feel like I’m in for a long wait again!

Aw first was missed (I think, no one ever told me this?!) because I had a scan and the baby hadn’t grown past 5/6 weeks even though I was 9 weeks when it all passed.

Then my second one I was 6/7 weeks and like I say that was quick I think, but they didn’t see anything on a scan at all because by the time I’d got to the scan I’d passed everything. They said it was ‘unknown location’ so said it may be ectopic so I needed blood tests which I absolutely hate and I knew what had happened!

Aww yeah I had a line still last time but I’m sure I ovulated last time! How long ago was it did you say 2 weeks?

They class it as missed I think if the heartbeat stopped weeks before it was found out. My most recent one was found at the 12wk scan.
Yeah it was 2 weeks ago since I had surgery to manage it. Doing fine physically now & no more bleeding. Just waiting for that negative test now!

Yeah awww did you find out at the scan, it’s so hard isn’t it! My second one was a week ago bleeding has stopped now so just waiting for normal cycle again too :/
