Bleeding at 12 weeks, so sad...

I had been praying for this baby for so long I don't think I can get over it if I've lost my baby.

I'm 12 weeks today and about an hour ago I noticed a little spotting and it's getting worse.

Spoke to the maternity unit and as it's out of hours they've told me i can't be seen until tomorrow and that I should get some rest and take some paracetamol.

I can't lose my baby but I feel so helpless.

Rang the EPU again as advised by the private ultrasound sound place. They've booked me in tomorrow at 10.

Can't stop crying and have a headache now, going to lie in bed.

In laws have been great, called them when I found out.
Said they will collect the kids for me and will get dinner sorted.

It's really devastating and utterly sad news, and those of us who have experienced it understand (at least some of) what you are feeling. I'm glad you have support around you; try to be as kind to yourself as you can and allow yourself to grieve.

Can't stop crying randomly, trying to hide it from the kids has been really hard.

Couldn't bring myself to tell them what happened so I just made up some silly excuse that I thought I had a baby in my tummy but I was wrong and that I'm just poorly.

Don't know how I'm going to cope tomorrow. Have no idea what to expect at the EPU and unfortunately will have to go by myself again.

I was in such a state of shock at the ultrasound place I forgot to ask for a report. Apparently it makes the process easier for the team at EPU. I just couldn't face going in after and asking for it.
