What a beautiful thread. Perhaps I should have not gone looking for it on the day my milk came in. I am a blubbering mess.

Can I introduce Cissy Mary. She is the result of my 4th pregnancy ( and one chemical pregnancy).

I was diagnosed as hypothyroid but I suspect I am hyper fertile with non viable embryos implanting, I just had to keep going until one stuck.

She is amazing and after an incredibly tranquil first few days is beginning to show her try nature. She looks nothing like me, spit of her da.

I said on the main thread I'd post an update on Faith here to avoid baby-bombing. She's doing v well at the moment, more than 5 months seizure free. She's very behind in her development and we're not getting any help with that which is frustrating when we know her type of seizures cause brain damage and every source says early intervention makes the most difference. We have an appointment next week to visit Snowdrop neurodevelopmental charity who will come up with some suggestions to help her. We also see her neurologist for a review and then the endocrinologist later in the month. We are still dealing with the after effects of her steroid treatment which has knocked out her adrenal glands and stopped her growing. I feel quite angry that there is so little support for families, we had a letter this week from our epilepsy nurse offering to see us in August - we were referred at diagnosis in January. No thanks, we've figured it out for ourselves now! The paediatrician saw us after only (!) 5 months and referred us for Portage (development play therapy) but there is a 9 month waiting list. I suppose we should be grateful that RMC has given us a good grounding in doing your own research, finding your own support network and being a pain in the arse until somebody helps you!

baking what a lovely photo of Faith, can't help but smile when you see that little grin. I am so sorry you haven't really had any support recently but I hope the upcoming appointments are helpful and get you into the system. Glad to hear 5 months seizure free though.

baking she has a killer smile and fab news she has been seizure free. I can't believe the waiting times you are dealing with. Is this normal? Given the tough start she has had, she needs the best support as soon as possible. It must be so frustrating for you.

This is the loveliest happiest and moat hopeful thread I have ever seen! Having just lived through my 3rd miscarriage, I am searching for the 'bright side' and all your lovely pictures full of gorgeous babies give me HOPE.

I am sure one day I will very proudly be introducing my own in here.

Casiopeia I am sure you will! Beth and i met Tiny and baby Alice on Hampstead Heath yesterday. We talked about it a year ago and I didn't dare believe it could really happen!

Yeah for baby betty. She looks very peaceful. I think we should have a few new wrigglers before the year is out.
