I thought I'd use this thread to post an update on Faith rather than derailing the support thread. For anyone who has not been following the latest twist in our tale, she was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy, in January. She was treated with very high dose steroids, which was brutal but effective, and we are now trying to get some support for the resulting development delays. I have been taking monthly photos of her and DH got the first twelve framed, which was lovely of him but it made me really sad to see her looking so poorly at 8m then massively Cushingoid at 9, 10....it is slowly improving but still a way to go.
Nothing has happened for several months and now appointments are like buses, in the next 6 weeks we have physio, paediatrician, day admission for more tests, neurologist, endocrinologist and trip to Devon for neurodevelopmental assessment.
We met jady tanny Bertie and his big brother this week for the first time and it was lovely to give another thread baby a snuggle on behalf of you all!

I absolutely agree with looking up and seeing what we have.

baking it never feels like you are derailing the support thread with updates on faith, but actually its lovely to hear about her on here. She looks so cheery and happy! I hope all her upcoming appointments go well (sounds like a full time job for a bit!) and you make some progress with gaining information.

Am very envious of these meet ups. Lovely that faith and Bertie met!

I have just returned to mn after a break. After 3mc I was on the old thread with you all. My beautiful boy is now 9 months. I have pcos and firmly believe taking metformin until 12 weeks of gestation was the reason this pregnancy worked.

Baking, it was so lovely to meet Faith, she really is as smiley and sweet as your photos. She is so lucky to have such a loving family around her. We must take a photo of them both together next time...

I'm fairly free most weekdays... Apart from a week on Tuesday when we have the 12 week jabs...

Cool. Thursdays and Fridays probably best for me. I have the nursery run at 3:15 but can do before that with just beth or after that with both of them. Other days sometimes fine too but depends on the week. Deffo join us one day soon tanny and just (and anyone else who fancies it)

My boy was my fourth pregnancy and my girl my sixth. Have faith and hope. Thyroid issues contributed if not outright caused miscarriages. Recurrrent mc sufferers get yours checked out!!!

This is Grace, she will be 1 on saturday! Born after 4 mc, our little miracle. Progesterone pessaries were the only thing we did differently and I will be forever thankful to my amazing consultant that prescribed them! Your little ones are all beautiful :) baking tanny I remeber you from the mc boards it's lovely to see your happy endings x

Baby Louis born 17 June 2015. A miracle baby after six years of trying for a baby including infertility and three mcs.
